The 'What have you just bought' Thread

I've got some pretty hardcore storage for my gats, kept behind another level of security to protect my bike & jetski. But to be honest, the gat security were both monster s/h bargains on fb, literally sinful not to buy, maybe there was an element of that in rdb's purchase ? -

Stick around, when you've seen the high quality of most of his "toys", you'd want to lock them up too? -
Lol, knowing tm it's actually going to be more reliable than the real steel (er plastic?) gun. EDIT: lol, just seen @Rogerborgsaid exactly the same thing before me. Doh, I'm thick as shit I am?
-
Which again raises the question : "why the other guy gets his serviced monthly ffs" Yes he's spent an arm & a leg on it, probably mostly in servicing costs lol, but that's clearly his slightly ocd choice, not something a potential new owner should have to cover.

Thanks to FB marketplace bargains, in the garage I've got a shotgun cabinet for the really long guns, & high security builders site box for anything less than 42ish inches, rrp for both items was just shy of £650, I managed to get them for a tenner each. Woop Woop ? -
Needs a few bits doing, is he being optimistic ?
-
Yeah, wondered about that one, but Tbh I'm not knowledgeable on system's to know the s/h values, regardless of his clearly obsessive "servicing" ?. Think its another one where he feels justified in clawing back every penny spent on mods & accessories, irrespective of whether anyone else agrees on their value or necessity.

I like it ?

Wots a mini fix ? ?

+1 on that, if I could go back to my teens I'd have been using ear Pro, even squidgy foam pellets would have made a difference & now I might not have the constant ringing/buzzing?

I don't disagree, & I'm happy on single shot all day long..... BUT I wouldn't be using a boltie on anything even slightly resembling a cqb site, for me an airsoft basr needs to fill the same role as its real steel equivalent, ideally without me having to spend 3 times it's value on "upgrades" ? I just want too reach out and touch someone ?

95% of the time the problem is cheating cnut players, whether its chrono cheating, hit taking or general rule breaking, eradicate that & life would be much easier all round, for all involved. I can but dream.......

LOL, your not wrong ? Edit: maybe it should be tears ? -
Sounds like a bit of a Dick?
-
Yep, & it won't change unless players voice their opinions & then vote with their feet. What gets me though, if your not going to enforce pretty much any of the "core rules" of Airsoft, why bother with employing (?) a team of Marshalls.
-
That's a shame, surely TM's worldwide market exceeds its Japan home market, & especially when it comes to snipers, they'd cater for it ?
-
What's the "ootb" fps ?
-
To be fair, there are a couple of members on here that do seem to ready to argue black is white at the drop of a hat, they quickly get tedious, do what I do & block them, that way you won't see their inane huffing & puffing lol

Good job he had a whole field to aim at, anything smaller & he'd have probably missed it ?

I'll be completely honest, early on I had sights on everything, slowly the realisation, for me anyway, hit me that I barely used them, the ranges involved couple with the fact I'm an instinctive shooter, essentially the eye, inline with the outstretched arm, is how I snap shoots, it's how I was trained on real steel so works very well at most of the ranges we play at. The only exception that I feel definitely needs a decent, probably magnified sight, would be a dedicated sniper, they tend to get themselves into all sorts of tight/inconvenient spots with minimal movement allowed, so yeah seeing what you want to hit is a must. BUT They do look nice, some guns look waaay better with a matching sights, & I've now gone ANOTHER full circle & run them on most of my gats, even if I actually don't sight through them, so don't feel bad, I'm a tackle tart too lol. None taken Bro ? -

Call me an old dinosaur ? if you like, but what about iron sights, pretty sure they still put them on most rifles for a reason ? ? -
Where's that & how much of it have you got to play with ??? PS looks a bit "sandy", is this a giggle lol
-
You make it sound like you spent a lot of time bent over admiring the floor tiles in your local public khazi ? ?
-
LOL, glad it wasn't just me then?
