  1. Terminal List gets better, stick with it for a couple of episodes and it all starts to come together. & yeah, Chris Evans was a nutter, even his dress sense was mental lol
  2. I think one thing we're all in agreement about, whether in the UK or USA, no matter what actions our respective governments do, or are considering to do against airsofters/real steel or any other gun shaped hobby the simple truth is for those who want firearms for criminal or murderous intent, they'll get them, or in the case of the Japanese assassin, make them.
  3. Yep, both were imho very good, can't see us getting a second season of the Terminal List 😟, but I'm hopeful about S2 of Reacher, there's enough books to choose from, for some reason the wife really enjoyed it too, I can't think why 🤔💪 Watched the Gray Man over on Netflix last night, pretty good, kinda Bourne/Wick lovechild
  4. LOL, your quite the comedian Nige, all our plans went up the shitter when the wife's mum decided to have a dementia based "episode" this morning, so it's a quiet bbq, maverick in HD & hopefully a nice meal out in the next day or two, fruitloop permitting 😏
  5. Dunno if I've told this story, exactly 29 years ago on the morning of my wedding (yep it's my anniversary today), my baby sis who lives in kansas City missouri phones me, wishing me well for the impending nuptials etc, I in turn ask her how she's doing & she explains she's angry, the week before they were burgled, & in her exact words "the bastards cleared us out, what's worse they got my gun but dont worry, I went straight out & bought a .357 magnum, & if they come back I'm gonna put holes in them" Now for most of us that's an understandable reaction, who wouldn't want a bit of legitimate payback against thieving scum that come in to your home, especially as she had a four month old baby daughter. But the kicker is she was 19, 20 in October & under state laws couldn't even buy alcohol, not til she was 21, but absolutely no problems buying one of the most powerful handguns of the time......... That's kinda fucked up, can't trust her with a beer but a fuckin great hand cannon, fill yer boots lol. Fast forward to now, her daughters an occupational therapist, kinda physio for the elderly, & her fiance is a paramedic, both have concealed carry permits & both carry every day without fail.
  6. Damn right, maybe I'm an old dinosaur, but the world's gone mad with this shit, thousands of years humankind has evolved, but in literally a couple of years it's all been turned on its head because a tiny tiny minority feel they don't fit in with the long established "categories", & if you can't get your head around it, your a very bad person apparently lol.
  7. Git, I didn't get it🤣, wouldn't mind but I was only talking about the film a couple of days ago, a classic👍
  8. LOL thanks Trig, What else can you do mate, last couple of years have been tough on most peeps, but gotta soldier on, our little white "bullets" won't fire themselves😜
  9. I do, but not as often as I'd like, I'm hoping to get my left knee replaced fairly soon, then the right as soon it can be, plus I'm being treated for prostate cancer, but again I'm hoping to complete treatment fairly soon, prognosis is good so far, & then all I've got to do is lose some timber & improve the fitness, & it's game on. LOL, Sounds easy when your typing it out😉
  10. I did, but I've got no idea what the chicken wing reference is, only that it makes me want kfc🐷
  11. To be fair the the "cqb training courses" threads pop up every couple of years, some by wannabe students, & some by claimed "professionals", & I've yet to see one iota of feedback that anything ever actually took place.......
  12. You need to bear in mind that for many soldiers access to pistols was very limited in the past, usually amounting to a couple of mags a year on ranges with very little corrective training, just enough to pick up, operate, & safely clear a weapon if it became necessary, obviously it was a very different story when it came to a soldiers primary weapon, usually a battle/assault rifle ?. I say this as former British army, obviously I can't comment on whether the same situation applied in the USA or elsewhere for that matter, but I don't think we're in a position to scream "stolen valour" or whatever the term is just because someone's handgrip is wrong on his toy pistol. For example when I started playing, 20+ years ago I was an airsoft god, seriously, well trained, with shit hot drills combined with high fitness levels meant I was a force to be reckoned with. But now, numerous skeletal injuries (wrecked back from rta's, both knees need replacing, a toe missing on my dominant foot, a finger on each hand sewn back on) & other health problems, which has led to "middle age spread" that I'd previously kept at bay with a hard exercise regime, no longer possible, means when I do get out to play, if I'm not dosed up with corto-steroid jabs, hinged braces & pain meds, I'm a shambling shadow of my former self, & have had to drastically alter my playing style to get through the day without suffering new injuries or aggravating the old ones. But I still do OK, & usually have a good tally of "kills", so all I'm saying is don't be too quick to judge players, especially those older guys, just because they're a bit slack in their style of play. And breathe🤪
  13. Lol, could you imagine if sites did insist you have your barrel four inches from the chrono, they'd have to buy a new one every week due to all the cross-eyed cack handed "operators" shooting the shit of them🤣
  14. I'll settle the argument, water am bestest, everything else is OK too.......... IN MODERATION😏 Your average airsofters isn't a trained nutritional isn't, or dedicated professional sportsman, so doesn't have awareness or desire to monitor all their intake needs, getting through the day in one piece is a bonus, or having the common sense enough to arrive on site with enough fluids, or checking their onsite availability should be a given........ But apparently not 😜
  15. Has he sold it ?, says completed ?. If anyone has bought it, off the back of a generic stock pic with no other proof, they'd be bonkers & asking to get turned over😕
  16. Brad, forum rules, everything has to have a price, even if its only a ballpark figure that you've got wiggle room on.
  17. Welcome @truckinthumper, enjoy what's probably the best forum around, definitely the most helpful & knowledgeable, but be warned, sarcasm & piss taking is a national sport in the UK, generally not meant to offend, except the snowflakes😜.

  21. There'd be no one left to do any actual police work 🤣
  22. Yeah my mate was firearms, if he got called In urgently he had dispensation that meant speed cams etc wouldnt count against him, but a few months before our "pull", he got stopped coming through Croydon underpass, going home from one such urgent call out, flashed his warrant card & explained to the rat the situation & that he was heading home for some much needed shut-eye before an impending shift, guy was like "take it easy, ride safe", couple of days later he got called in front of his boss & bollocked for abusing his "privileges", going to a shout its OK, but coming from one not so much. He wasn't impressed, hence why we smiled nicely & played dumb when we got tugged. Rule number one, admit, or even guess nothing lol.
