If you'd taken maybe a day or two to surf the forum, you'd have got a feel for the place, it's actually fairly laid back & very community minded, but this thread, while mostly light-hearted is intended to hilight overpriced kit, hopefully to stop people getting suckered . I appreciate you've been "out of the game" for a while, personally I see kit for sale & I could weep knowing how much I paid originally, but that's the way the market has gone, in much the way that some kit that would have sold within hours, now hangs about for weeks or months, usually experiencing multiple bumps & price drops.

Just another example of someone joining the forum with the immediate sole purpose of trying to flog their overpriced shit. I hated it many years ago when I joined Arnie's, only to find I couldn't access the classifieds until I'd hit a certain amount of posts, but it doesn't seem so silly now, given the number of chancers we get joining, ffs it's not even the school holidays lol.

Damn right, only time it might be deemed acceptable would be to separate players during fisticuffs, even then with measured appropriate restraint, they are paying customers after all.

This "argument" has been going on for years, the usual consensus being that unless your the retailer, & probably the first to handle the item from the manufacturer or their approved agent, then the item is secondhand, irrespective if whether it's had a BB through it, & as secondhand the price should reflect that. In fact it's even more relevant on the item we've been discussing, what if it's a lemon straight outta the box, only the first owner, who's now selling it on, has any warranty claim against this, the next owner can go whistle. The post about the default setting for items being "used" is very valid, DO IT NOW.

That's why Jokers like him advertise on the slightly more obscure sites, & not places like AFUK, they know they're taking the piss & will get outed for it, even zin won't let you " question" members prices, quickly deleting posts if you do ?

This is why I avoid certain sites in the winter, slipping & sliding all over the place equals injuries that then affect the weekday workdays.

By "impressive", do you mean a faster rate of fire ?

For the money that's awesome, end of the day if it shoots straight & is an ok FPS, 280+ish, then it's doing what many sometimes struggle to do at 3 times the price, early tavors were notorious for problems, mine included ☹️

Lol, if only everybody saw it that way ? The lightness I get, but looking at the pics shown, it really seems to extend a long way down, almost as if the mag doesn't actually go up in to the original magwell at all. Being a bullpup I could see that possibly snagging on pouches/straps ?. For the same reason I ditched any of the longer (450 ?) stanags I picked up in deals, felt much more awkward than the 300's in a bullpup. I'd like to see a stanag magwell insert for the Aug, when I last had one I found the extra thick ridges on the aug mags made using mag shingles a right pita .

I've got an assortment of lightweight rigs of various setups, lol justified by the fact my son & his gf now play, but recently got a small od molle satchel/grab bag, gonna try that for next game, 3 hi-caps (I only use single shot), pistol & spare mag, litre of water & chockies should do me fine.

I wanna see a Rogue Trooper kit for the Aug, but then I'll have to paint myself blue for a game ?
