Yeah, gearbox isn't lined-up properly with the hop unit. Check that there isn't anything pushing sideways on the gearbox and that the inner barrel and hop unit sit nicely inside the outer barrel.

A sear catch is worn or broken. You'll have to take it apart to see what it is or send to a tech to fix. The part should be replaceable.

Yeah given the crazy situation with Taiwangun I have this equally crazy idea to order a RIF and have it sent to family in Spain whom I shall visit in April. I hope to be able to bring it back as cargo in a flight with Iberia or BritishAirways. Declared of course and I'm fine paying VAT and duty on it if needed. Has anyone done something similar? Any potential pitfalls you can foresee?

Not tried but I would think it depends more on the regulations in the destination country.
