Hi Airsoftmum, Unfortunately you are not alone. There are quite a few 'nearly new' and 'hardly used' things on sale here. That particular model is now selling for £80 on Patrolbase so you might be able to get £50 to £60 for it depending if someone is looking for that model. This is the section to sell it. Spring Rifles - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk) Alternatively it might be worth keeping in case he gets back into it when he's a bit older. (Maybe some friends will get into it and he'll be the expert)

Welcome Eye protection and good boots are the important bits. Other gear is personal choice. (Mesh face covering is advised) Yeah, rent for first 3 games to get UKARA registered. The old gear may be suitable to start you off but depends on its condition.

Looking at a browning high power mk3 we tech
EDcase replied to parramoom's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Yeah think so. Its exactly the same as their earlier Hi-Power P35 The spring is meant to be able to bend out of the way when a mag is inserted and still act as the knocker when fired but the pin holding the spring is just too weak. I still can't believe no other company is making the Hi-Power considering how ubiquitous it was in the 80's -

They have a particularly bad design for a piece which breaks very easily. It is part #30 here B Series Hi-Power (MKIII) #30 - B Series (MKII, MKIII) Hi-Power Browning - WE Pistols (GBBP) - Parts (kyairsoft.com) As you can see the parts are available and not hugely expensive but it took almost 2 months to get mine back in 2019. When a magazine is inserted into the gun it catches the spring (#31) which is also the valve knocker. Because the spring is mounted to part #30 by a small pin it only takes a few of these hits from the magazine to break the pin rendering it unable to fire. There are two solutions. 1. Always rack the slide BEFORE inserting a magazine. This retracts the valve knocker so it does not get hit by the magazine when inserted. This means that the hammer would have to be carefully lowered afterwards to prevent its spring becoming fatigued. 2. Make a stronger part #30 out of steel. Its possible as its not a complex part and using an original as a template would make it much easier but I've not heard of anyone doing this though. WE Browning Hi-Power MK3 failure and how to avoid breaking it. - YouTube The trigger spring also broke on mine so don't manipulate the trigger a lot. Other than this its an OK pistol. I love mine but wouldn't use it on a game day. -
Errr seeing the footage of Russian forces invading a peaceful country... hello Or do you actually believe the laughable propaganda shit that 'Ukraine attacked first' !?!?!?!

In the middle??????? Are you joking? There is absolutely NO truth in anything coming out of that communist dictatorship

Personally I won't have anything to do with Russia now or ever. (I wouldn't dress up as a Nazi either)

I got a message from him as well. Calling@Jedi_Master For the ban hammer...

At the top of the conversation you will see the name of the person. Just below their name it will show 'when' and 'if' they last viewed the conversation. If it shows read but no reply then you can assume they're an a-hole and move on. There have been a lot of people joining just to sell their tat. As said above, many will advertise elsewhere as well so if it sells they have to manually set to 'sold' but I suspect that many won't bother. There should be a minimum number of (meaningful) posts per month to keep selling option available.

I'll bet the price goes up when actually available ?

Which is best? Tokyo Marui VS WE Samurai Edge Stars Beretta
EDcase replied to ashburns54's topic in General Help
Yeah, I had a TM 226 for a bit and it did look (and shoot) great but if you fondle it (as OP wants to do on special occasions ?) there's no way a TM will feel better than a metal replica. The importance of trades is a different matter and up to the OP of course. -

Its said that for the last couple of months. They 'tested' a UPS service but encountered problems so deliveries are cancelled for now. It says you can order through Patrol Base but I spoke to them last week and they said they stopped doing TG orders a few weeks ago -
Welcome Its a mock 'forward assist' from the real rifle. It has no function in the airsoft version. Read up on cleaning the barrel as its recommended with a new pew.

Considering the OP just wants it for a display and occasional fondle I don't see any reason to consider a plastic version. So you're worried about the gold paint coming off? Just touch it up with a gold felt pen and when dry put some nail varnish on top. It'll look great and feel much better than a plastic replica. Those are beautiful @enzo47 @Shamal Yeah, I love my WE M9A2 v2 Action is sooooooo smoooooth -
Welcome Baptimus_Prime Echoing what's already been said really. Sounds like that site isn't the best run or they had an 'off' day. Even with well run sites it is common to have differing experiences on various days usually dependant on the players. Have a look here and see if there's another site near you: PlayAirsoft — UK Airsoft Sites: Skirmish, Mil-sim, CQB and more Give it a few more tries at least to get your UKARA membership registered.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I wonder how many staff they have and if they're always busy.... I don't want a job where I have to deal with the public ? -

I assume (PB) are already set up to receive stock from European suppliers and deal with paperwork so they could take orders from TG and ship when they have enough to fill a pallet. I would be happy to wait extra time for them to get enough orders in for the bulk delivery but I guess there isn't enough profit as you said. -
You do have to factor 20% VAT + courier + import duty on top of the displayed price but yes, even with those costs it usually worked out cheaper than UK To add insult to injury they have a RIF I want at a very good price that isn't available anywhere else ?

Taiwangun was a great place to buy before Brexshit but its no longer an option unless they sort out a new courier in future.

Edit: Patrolbase are supposedly taking TG orders but they're woefully unorganised and unmotivated. -
Also consider 'Specna Arms' if you see one you like. They have produced good rifles in the past but some people have reported poor quality which may be down to recent lower quality, a bad batch or just people with failures shouting louder. When you get a new rifle always clean the barrel carefully and test thoroughly in case it needs to go back.
