  1. You can but you'll need to add a bit of silicone oil to the mag fill valve. Airsoft green gas has the oil mixed in already.
  2. ASG, HFC, KWC and SRC do snub revolvers but its going to be difficult finding a Co2 powered one that shoots under 350fps
  3. Or Airsoft 7.4V 2600mAh 25C LiPo Cranstock battery with case LP305 Vapextech
  4. Its mainly common sense really.
  5. The device could be a cardboard box ?
  6. They definitely have more energy capacity and output than NiCads and in smaller packages. The charging is more reliable and automatic. The only downside is the initial cost but it works out over time because they last longer. Search the forum for recommended chargers
  7. Stick em in here: Parts - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk) Can you post lithium batteries with Royal Mail? Packaging guidelines: Each parcel must contain no more than four cells or two batteries installed in a device. For lithium ion/polymer batteries the Watt-hour rating must not exceed 20Wh per cell or 100Wh per battery. A standard 1300mAh 7.4v works out to 9.62Wh and your battery is 22.2Wh so all airsoft batteries are well within limits
  8. First off, Welcome ?? (Sniped by Rostok ?) The Double Eagles are well regarded by many members here (I don't have one) so any of them is probably a good choice. Someone with more experience with them will likely comment further but I believe its really down to your personal choice for the look and metal vs polymer. Longer shooters are less suited to the sneaking around play style but it can still be fun. Longer barrels can be beneficial over much shorter ones but only up to a certain point so don't let that influence you too much. Ideally you want to visit a shop to handle a few different things to feel the difference between metal and poly. Keep around £100 for LiPo batteries and a decent charger. (Several threads about choosing batteries and chargers) And the eyepro, boots, camo, pouches, mags, vest, sidearm, holster, smokes, grenades, BBs ........ ? Found THIS thorough video testing barrel length. Still inconclusive...
  9. If its that hot on Green Gas I'd suggest 144a Gas I'd be curious what fps you get with that. Failing that you should be able to DIY an NPAS to go in the nozzle.
  10. Your best chance is to post in Wanted section Parts & Gear Wanted - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk)
  11. Welcome (back) ? Check HERE for sites near you. Then you can check reviews of particular ones Fastest way to be UKARA registered is play 3 games at the same site. Check if they have a time limit. Best advice is to read everything in the forum ?
  12. Yep, 2x1300mAh easily get me through a day though I keep it on semi and try not to waste shots. (Still get through about 2000 BBs though ?)
  13. Whatever gets decided it should be soon... There's a load more ? I don't know what is used as a bot test these days but maybe changing the question? And maybe having a couple of different ones? Or is it possible to put a filter on posts to detect a list of chemicals
  14. Three dots on top right of a post ? Can't be done from the activity list, you have to click on a post to see the dots.
  15. Whoever reported the most spam should be promoted to janitor ?

  17. Some of us do understand your frustration getting info but to be honest there's too much to put in one thread. It is necessary to search first then ask for particular subjects. (Most questions have already been answered so a search is usually the fastest way to get an answer)
  18. Chrono readings vary even with the same make so don't try to get to the limit of fps because at a site it may read too high.
  19. Don't get sarky The ratings DO matter because they determine how long the battery will last.
  20. Not much info: (12 good reviews on Google) White Sphere Tactical Ltd - Company Profile - Endole Found a podcast with the owners: (They're linked to Rift Airsoft) NoFo Episode 93 - White Sphere & Rift Airsoft – November Foxtrot - Airsoft MilSim Podcast (uk-podcasts.co.uk)
  21. Welcome Leo, Interesting thread. I'm not much into tech'ing so can't comment really. I would guess some upgrade choices are base on parts availability over here. As for ROF question, personally I HATE high rates as it spoils the gameplay and if everyone went in that direction it would make games shite. High ROF is for children with no skill ? Some of the most fun games I've had were playing in single shot. I'm sure you'll get more tech related replies...
  22. Definitely sounds like a scam of some kind. Have you tried to reply? There is a chance its legit but proceed with caution.
  23. I'd say its similar to gambling or investing. Don't put in more than you're willing to loose. A bad fall can show how delicate our toys really are. Yes, they can usually be repaired but as BigStew said, that's IF you can find parts and they could be expensive.
  24. Hi and Welcome As Shamal said, check out HERE to find game sites near you. In the simplest terms you have to play 3 games at the same site within a certain time (3 months) (Most sites don't really care about the timing. Most people will rent a gun (you can buy your own mask & goggles) If you know anyone with a spare gun then you can use that without having to rent. Once you've played 3 games at that site you can request to get registered with a UKARA number. It should be free but most do charge a fee Without UKARA (+18) you can buy a Two-Tone (Imitation Firearm) [IF] It will come from the shop painted 50% with the most common colours being Red, Blue or Green With UKARA (+18) you can buy a (Realistic Imitation Firearm) [RIF] Hope that helps. Loads more info in the forum so dive in and enjoy ?
  25. Welcome Sean Second hand can be a bit of a gamble but people with good reputation on this forum are a safe bet. (Still use PayPal goods & services as Oth21 said)
