  1. All the gases are based on Propane but airsoft version does not have the smell added. (Usually added for safety) You can fill a lighter with airsoft green gas and you can use Propane from camping shops but you have to get an adaptor and it will smell bad when used. Most green gas from Nuprol comes with silicone mixed in which you want. I use Ultrair too and buy from HERE or HERE (Bulk buy is cheaper) Remember to clean the barrel (and hop rubber) with a bit of Isopropyl Alcohol occasionally. Use the cleaning rod with a strip of cloth for the barrel and a Q-tip with a drop of Isopropyl for the hop.
  2. EDIT: This was typed before you replied so info is a bit out of sync Most circuits have polarity protection so the board should be fine. As Roger said, if the battery charge drops below a certain point an intelligent charger won't recognise it. I have recovered a couple of very low bats by setting the charger (B6AC) to NiMh mode and charging for 2 mins. This pumps in enough charge for the intelligent charger to recognise it. Probably a good idea to change the battery anyway. Even if it shows a charge it probably won't last long under load when actually being used.
  3. I know it looks like that thanks but its fine on the other side.
  4. Welcome back ✋ Yeah I think many here would say the M908B is a good starter. You can also consider CYMA and Specna. (Many threads talking about this subject) There's LOADS of choice for chest rigs and pouches. Look at ebay and army surplus to get the cheapest stuff. It can take a few tries to get something you like as needs change. Check out here for sites near you: https://playairsoft.uk/map
  5. I've got no idea how these bots work or how AI tools could improve them but I've noticed that many of these spam users even set their avatars. I doubt a simple question is going to stop them when any question simple enough for newbs can be easily searched. Would be interesting to see
  6. Hasn't the simple test question been suggested before? Probably worth a try if it can be easily implemented. I don't find the spam a huge problem as it gets cleaned quite quickly but of course prevention is better. Question: Do you have to delete every post individually or are they all cleared when the user is banned?
  7. Oh yes they did
  8. Respect to the veterans of the game ✌ and welcome back. Yes, I would guess the toys have become much more diverse, cheaper and more reliable in general. Along with the battery improvements... (I remember going to an army surplus shop in Haymarket near Piccadilly where they sold the L&S plastic gun kits. Never got one tho)
  9. I think the conversion problem mainly relates to blank firing pistols. As Sewdhull said, most of the operational components are already present. They'd have to chop the barrel, drill out the breech (probably thread it) and replace it all with a steel sleeve and barrel part. It wouldn't last as long as a real firearm since the low quality body metal would probably deform or crack over time. With a GBBR they'd have to do all that AND make a steel bolt with extractor, firing pin AND alter the trigger assembly to hit the firing pin. Even with all those changes the poor quality metal body would likely break the first time it fires. Yes, some AK's supposedly use real steel bodies but the gas tube and block are not. Nor is the gas piston or bolt which would also have to incorporate a firing pin etc...
  10. A few BBs left in the mag won't be a problem but leaving a mag fully loaded can't be good for the spring. Same as leaving an AEG half cycled with the spring compressed.
  11. As all the above... Remove BB's from spring mags. (pistols/low caps) Can leave BB's in hi-caps as long as tension is taken off the feed ones. Leave gas mags filled and check them all once a month or so. Don't leave gas mags in guns (pistols or rifles) The rubber outlet router can get deformed and lose a good seal.
  12. ? You just have to get the polarity right but up to you.
  13. Or if you have one of those variable power supplies which come with various plugs and you can solder then make your own...
  14. Jeez, I hope that doesn't make it into UK sites ?
  15. Nah, he's got a thing for scammer scum And we always help him out Looks like Pacco78 is next in line for the boot
  16. For everyone, use WD40 as a cleaner. Use Silicone oil or GT85 for lubrication
  17. I'd guess the stronger spring and 11.1 were too much for a standard shell. You probably had a poor air seal so compensating with a heavier spring is not the way to go. Personally I would never use an 11.1 in a standard gearbox but I hate high rof builds anyway. ?
  18. Its under wraps ?
  19. It should take standard Maple Leaf Hop rubbers. (You don't need to change the hop unit itself) I believe the Macaron is highly regarded and 60 degrees is best for 350fps.
  20. Classic Army are excellent. Depends how fast he wants it gone. Start at £350 and go from there.
  21. The Rock (1996) ??
  22. Nice but suspicious avatar...
  23. Yeah, I got that feeling ? Pity... They've got good sling prices
