  1. Perfect @leadly I had a the Laylax 303 before I went Laylax 430 and it was fine, even have that spring in my spares box. Should put you right about 495 with a "normal" piston.
  2. I have both. VSR will always be an ongoing project and the SRS, well, it wasn't supposed to have as much spent on it as it did. Love them both and they both shoot similar distance and accuracy. Preference the VSR for weight and size/weight of mags Preference the SRS for ergonomic (bullpup is awesome) and it's awesome build quality Honestly if I was buying now....SSG10 as it's light, very cost efficient for what you get, mostly VSR10 compatible, pre upgraded if you're not sure on teching and the QC isn't as bad as it's made out to be.
  3. Not too sure yet. Anything carbiney at the moment. I've seen this but it looks too cheap to be decent https://www.airsoftlockeruk.co.uk/product/mk23-carbine-kit I like the dark matter one http://darkmatterworks.com/product/mk23carbine/ But am most likely going to end up with an SRU. Open playing field really.
  4. Just placed an order for another Mk23. Boring I know but this one is going to be my ongoing "DMR Project". Have a VSR barrel leftover, pull the internals out of the suppressor, buy in some Hadron goodies and then agonise over whether to spend 3 times the value of the pistol on a bodykit for it.
  5. Looks to be either a site owner or organiser......
  6. Nice RIF but I agree, more off for second user is needed, may not have seen a game but it's been mucked about with. My experience of the Ares gearbox is they are fine to about 320-330 but after that they sound like they struggle. Shame as it looks awesome but defo more in the £200-£250 region.
  7. x-fire.jp They have binned their old english based site in favour of this new one with a better shopping cart system. You can still order as before, just let your browser translate for you. Major muck up from them though not redirecting traffic from the old site to the new.
  8. Thought I found a H8r in stock then. Nearly wee'd but no, not in stock.

I found one in Denmark? Old school Email style ordering.

But it's only 54ish quid. They are a legit business. You have to order first and then they will calculate shipping and invoice for payment.

@Asomodai what a gem you are! I've just dropped them an email and ordery thingy to see what they come back with. As long as they don't destroy me on shipping this could work out really well.

  9. Just spotted this. Not a wild dreamer but I would say a touch unrealistic. They're £5 more from Fire Support and you wouldn't have to foot paypal fees then.
  10. My issue with the crazy jet (I'm not a hater, I have 2 in my GBBP's) is that there is no way of measuring how far this cushion can actually travel and have an impact on the BB. If it's a few feet than you're just buying a brass barrel so really a tight AA would be worth a pop as they are comparable and also a very popular choice. I haven't used one though so I can't say it isn't the magic source which turns you into an aimbot. (Cost is also not a thing, we're running around with plastic toys worth hundreds, we all lost our sense of value a long time ago)
  11. They are very much a "go to" on the Sniper Forum but I honestly don't see the appeal. Ultimately you want a "good" internal surface polished well that is highly consistent. Crazy jet are coated brass. In my eyes a sniper is like a scalpel to what an AEG is a butchers knife. So you want that scalpel as precise as possible. I just don't see Maple Leaf having the stringent manufacturing or QC of people like EdGi or PDI to do this.
  12. It's taken 8 weeks but the ghillie is done! Cannot wait to try it out.

Lucky, I'm still waiting for haloscreen to get back in stock somewhere.

      @Diemaco it's a ghillie so you wouldn't see it 😉
@Skara halo stuff is super popular isn't it? Totally opposite end of the spectrum but mine was made fully with Helikon ghillie yarns (I've gone easy though so I don't look like an electrified wookie).

Nah it's not as popular as plastic leaves, mostly due to its cost and lack of availability (you can only get it from LCS or Theyma)

I reckon it's more versatile than leaves as it doesn't have that awful plasticky look (no matter how much you try to mod them, they'll still look out of place).

My ghillies are going to be mostly cotton, some HS whenever I get my hands on some and some hair bands for real vegetation (you can't beat nature, can you?).

Jute has its application for sure, but as you said most plebs just pile up strands upon strands and end up looking like a meth addicted wookie who's just gone through a car wash.

  13. Bought them last night but only just remembered lol. Treated myself to a set of @heroshark specs. Hopefully they will solve my fogging on my revision and nose bridge getting destroyed and brightness -50% caused by nuprol mesh problems.
  14. There is no accuracy difference, a shorter inner will mean your suppressor can do "a bit" more to suppress the expelled air for you. Running a 430mm barrel with 0.43's is a great match for piston/barrel/volume/ammo weight ratio so you end up with less piston noise and get a slight bit of suppressor usage due to the extended inner. There is no wrong answer. Good choice on the AA hop unit, I have a feeling that you will find as per above, you set it and forget it. I cannot think of a time where I have altered my hop in game, usually a bit of hold over is all is needed rather than tweaking a hopup. Agree on all choices, spring wise an M130 may be a touch too light, bolt pull will be easy but you may fall a bit short on range as the M130 at best will be putting out maybe 430fps? I did run an AA M150 for a while and with a 303mm inner barrel I was about 495fps from a cold start. Puts you in very edgey territory on a site that is strict on chrono. Potentially an M140 from a different brand would be an option?? I think the AA stuff is 7mm/11mm ID/OD which is a shame as a Rapax 2J would have been perfect (although it's 9mm/13mm).
  15. Of course there is a rush! You nee those parts and then to get them fitted and then a t least a week of carressing it before lockdown ends and you go running out there to use it! Can;t remember if I mentioned it in our convo but a 0.43g BB will be your absolute best friend if you are running a 430mm barrel. The dorks over on Sniper Forum did the numbers and proved it some how. Also get a GOOD quality BB. I personally only use Geoffs Super Precision whether it's 0.43 in the VSR, 0.48 in the SRS, 0.28 for woodland AEG or 0.2 for indoor AEG. Always use good ammo.
  16. Longbow have just got the Snipetor TDC in stock. Looks pretty good but I'm extremely happy with my Panters arm and drilling my outer terrifies me. The list of parts for a sniper is endless. It's a real learning journey.
  17. Just ordered a hi CAPA hop unit and wheel from Skirmshop. Managed to bend my hop arm so wanted to repair properly.
  18. Start of another week, keep your chins up guys. I know I'm starting to struggle a bit but I'm OK with that.

My country has slowly started to ease the lockdown measures.

IF there is no increment in cases,

IF people keep behaving according to the new measures,

We may be allowed to practice team sports (airsoft included) from the 18th.

Meanwhile I can go for a walk in the woods without being arrested now :D

  20. The A2 will be every bit as good, from what I've read it's mostly a cosmetic upgrade and making some parts more easy to attain after purchase. Internally they are the same for the essential stuff. The mouse fart is a lol but the V2 performs well and I can't wait to try the V3, when (not if) you go variable weight piston, a VMP with mf is worth a look at as well as the wasp and edgi. I only went mf as I'd already bought the VMP.
  21. SRS is in bits at the moment but installed the V3 mouse fart today. It really is a work of art. I ordered the version with pom guide rings as well. Just dropping it into the cylinder it seals! Getting a rapax 3J in a few days so will rebuild and report back.
  22. NEVER throw parts away. There will always be somewhere you can use them. Check out the latest Recon101 blog post.
