  1. Mags come with a dog dick anyway dude but always worth having a couple spare I guess just in case. Where did you order from? My normal "go to" places to order from have been out of stock of replacement cocking handle knobs and suppressors for a while?
  2. Very nice @Immortal, I know you chrono'd in at 491 but I'd be really interested to know what you come in at using a 0.4 or heavier. Got a funny feeling you're going to get a huge amount of J creep.
  3. Quick one from when it got accessories.
  4. I'm in love! Sport plus the DTS suppressor looks awesome and the M150 with FAST chamber is giving perfect FPS & Joules. Even got a 100% seal first time!
  5. So impressed with the SRS. Sport plus an M150 spring actually gives a very comfortable 2.33J on a brand new spring! No messing.

  6. 2 bags of this https://www.military1st.co.uk/ac-ghf-pp-03-helikon-ghillie-fiber-yarns-us-woodland.html Yes I know burlap is cheaper and you cna dye your own for cheaper but when you've bought the burlap and taken hours to separate it and then bought different colour dyes and taken the time for that then this doesn't work out as badly as you'd think. Also as it is synthetic it is stated it won't go up in flames like real burlap would do (ideal incase pyro gets thrown on you).
  7. Not sure if you'd class it as too big or not but I run a Swiss Arms 3-9x50. About £60-70 from Amazon and I'v found it very clear for a cheap scope. Has held it's zero really well as well. Must have had a good 2-3 years trouble free use from it. It's sat waiting to go on the SRS now. Oh you're HPA'ing! Nice. Yep please do let me know. PDI with a faceless patch and FOW is most likely the path I'd go down, just trying to feel out all of the options.
  8. Super interested to know how that performs for you.
  9. Just bought another pack of Helikon synthetic ghillie yarn for a Christmas project. @Flintlock's fault as he's been encouraging it.
  10. Planning first game of 2020. So many awesome sites to choose from!

At least 5 on the short list and that doesn't include the 2 "regular" sites we enjoy gracing.

      No there isn't.

  11. ? Merry Christmas to Me!!! Patch order made.
  12. I'm a pain for wanting stuff to "just fit" and I'm trying to find ways around modifying things. Am wondering how well a PDI 6.05 would fair up with a PDI W hold 70 shore rubber.
  13. Is that using the VSR fitment bucking and barrel?
  14. They are quieter and even more so if you match BB weight to barrel to piston volume. The DTSS silencer really kills the noise. If you want it totally silent then you can get the WASP or variable mass piston. In my irrational mind though, the piston is a meh point as generally out of MED you wouldn't hear it anyway. I've managed to find a company in Japan doing PDI barrels for about half the UK RRP of them so once I've done homework to make sure they are R-Hopable or at least compatible with good rubbers I'll be ordering one. A sniper is about precision, why not make sure there is a "good" barrel in even though a lot I read says the stock barrel is fine.
  15. It likely won't shoot much different to the VSR. It'll be more manoeuvreable and a lot quieter. Just buy it.
  16. There are a few coming out soon but my worry is they won't be "universal" and will some how force you to use that companies buckings and nubs etc. Other than a slightly tighter fit around their own buckings, I can't see how the designs or performance would be much if any improved on the factory design (or FAST hop).
  17. ?‍♂️ Accidentally bought a load of digital woodland kit. Started looking at flecktarn and got carried away.

  18. Just bought an ofcom license for our teams radios. Can't wait to look down my nose at the pmr446 peasants ?
  19. Bought a fresh roll of PTFE today just in case. Faceless store is shut until after Xmas but FOW is on my list as well as a pdi barrel and rhop patch.
  20. 2hrs on my Mk23 last night. I have a brass screw in each mag and a non sticky trigger to show for it.

      What did you do?

Haven't had that issue yet on my novyboiiii23, but I haven't actually used it that much.

The follower is really difficult to hold back so filed down the moulded plastic and then popped a small brass screw in each. Also took a bit more off the feed lips as the trigger was a bit sticky.

If I hold the mag whilst shooting it jams a bit now but otherwise it's fine.

  21. Amazing day of pew-pew at NPF today, haven't enjoyed airsoft like that for a long time!

I wish I could say the same.

My ARP kept misfeeding like crazy and on one occasion I snapped and magdumped a new guy who thought it was cool to not call his hits.

I did get some ridiculous long range kills with the mk23 though.

Mk23 is the perfect all rounder!

Non-hit takers just need a couple more rounds than normal, nothing wrong with making sure with half a mag lol

He wasn't happy because half a drum mag is still 800 bbs :P

      also yeah, mk23 is love.

I'm thinking of getting a second one and build a carbine out of it!

  22. Bag packed for NPF tomorrow! Lets go!!!!!

  23. Mk23 fettling today. Try to get the mags sorted so it can be fielded tomorrow.

  24. Mine arrived a couple of days ago but the Mrs is playing hardball and won't let me have it until Christmas day. Gone for a 20" in OD with some extra's: .338 DTSS Suppressor FAST hop 3 extra mags Couple of Silverback pouches to hold mags M150 spring First thing I do when I get it will be install FAST hop with new rubber and nub and PTFE it on to make double sure I get a good seal and clean the inner barrel out. Then field it from there and see what bits I want to swap or improve. Have a half a bag of 0.48 Geoffs although I have just bought a bag of my preferred 0.43's and have a Swiss Arms 3-9x50 scope to add on. On my "maybe soon" list I've got a prowler or FOW nub (not sure if I should upgrade bucking as well?) and the airbrake piston head with M160 spring.
  25. P&P really makes me cry ?. I am so used to free postage or Prime delivery that I find myself not ordering at times due to postage prices on small parts.

High shipped prices... I'm hardly surprised.  So much fraud has been going on fueled by the rise of eBay that stores are unwilling to use cheaper / untracked services.

    3. Steveocee

      Steveocee

@ak2m4 To be fair you're probably one of the exceptions. Your postage prices are fair and advertised upfront. ?

    4. Skara

      Skara

That is exactly why I went for the SSX23 instead of building one myself :(

Sourcing all the different parts is a bitch when postage alone is more expensive than the part -.-
