You know what really floats my boat? Archimedes principle of relative buoyancy...

It's GT85! I use it all the time. Great stuff. You can get it in trade cans of 5L and 1L pump spray bottles too. The 1L are favourite.

Advice for Tactical Helmet
Tactical Pith Helmet replied to The_Roach's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
If you must wear a modern lid, then go for a ratchet adjustable one/rear rotation adjustment thingy. If its in a sized outer then even better. I've a few helmets. The cheapest PASGT replica with a Flora cover fits me best, and the cover is baggy enough to allow me to pretend that a Russian bin lurks beneath it in milsim/filmsim games. The digiflora cover sits on a slightly more expensive light weight fast style helmet which is OK but crap besides a genuine FMA. I'd go FMA for a decent fit and a bit of comfort. M1s are sized and fit accordingly, WW2 British Brody's and the like weigh a ton to play in. Of course the true airsoft connoisseur wears a helmet of purest Vietnamese pith, preferably along with a pair of baggy cotton shorts and a Martini-Henry. Victory is assured and one can always invade the site next door and annex it for the Crown. -

Our Sunday game was cancelled due to flooding. The site at Necton was only usable if you had an aqualung. Glad others got a game in! -

Using/fitting a torch to a pump action shotgun
Tactical Pith Helmet replied to The_Lord_Poncho's topic in Single Action Guns
I use a 25mm picatinny rail bolted to the barrel in front of the forend at about 45 deg. The picatinny rail has a Q/D 25mm mount attached. The 25mm mount holds the torch. Press rear button/switch on torch. Fire shotgun. Pump forened, finish shot/follow through shot. Press torch off with forward stroke of forend. -

Anyway to take out the stripped screw on handguard?
Tactical Pith Helmet replied to Astronautcheng's topic in General Help
Player I know makes a lot of bespoke grips etc at his local Shed. Low speed high torque defo required. All of my gear for the last couple of years is Sealey. The hammering that their stuff takes would kill cheap tat in seconds. -
I bought some new shoes today. One of them is not right.

If you have been, are going to, or are threatened with having to go to Stoke on Trent, you have plenty of reasons to moan. Even the vague reminiscences about Stoke that this thread has bought on have made me monumentally bad tempered. As for round seals, buy a selection of thicknesses of Viton from eBay and get a set of punches. I'm making Brembo F08 calliper seals tomorrow.
