If you UKARA/Site Membership isn't valid then get the site to provide a email or letter with your game days over a 12 month period along with a copy of the Sites public Liability Certificate. This is enough for Border Force.
The letter from BF should state they are seizing but also offer options for why it might be released.

had a look at the A4 this weekend and they have removed the wiring from the front handguard and put the wiring for the battery in the full stock. plenty of room in there for a big battery. Downside is you can't easily swap out the stock for something that folds without rewiring the AEG.

with the white marker on the fire selector facing the pistol grip, pry up the selector while pulling the trigger.
The 2 red flashes means the ECU is dead. A diode sits across the + and - inputs from the battery and if reverse wired blows. Problem with the original A5 board was it took too long to blow and caused all sorts of IC's to blow. The SD has a newer ECU design and might be salvageable as I've not played with one yet. The diode is replaceable but it's really a question on what else has blown.
Spare ECU's aren't available from TM as they class it as a factory item, meaning the AEG needs to go back to the factory for repair (I got WGC to ask them about spare ECU's). Occasionally Impulse101 sell complete lowers and this is probably the only way to get it working again if the ECU is totally goosed.
I've got an original ECU here which I'm trying to reverse engineer to see how much it would cost to get made.

I was getting around 308 FPS using 0.25 tracer BB's which is about 1.1 joules.

I ran mine in anger today and it worked flawlessly. Only issue is 1 of the DE mags has developed a leak. range was about 45 meters but not the best accuracy due to the short inner barrel. This wasn't really an issue as it was a CQB site so ranges tended to be 2 to 35 meters.
Temperature was about 15C today and I was getting at least 1 full mag without running out of gas on the DE, TM and GM mags.
Overall, very impressed with this GBB. If a N4 isn't your preferred M4 style then keep you eyes out for different M4 models coming from DE as they tend to push out other variants of successful rifles (DE90X series for instance and if DE are reading this then a KS-1 or a 416 would be nice).

well that esculated quickly....
All the mags I have (DE, GM and TM) all work fine however the gas routers on the DE seem stiffer than the GM router. Might try some GM gas routers in the DE mag to try to make them better. Only internal mod is a Flamingo hop rubber in both.
I've got a RA Tech NPAS here which I might pair with a longer inner barrel to try to increase accuracy at range but keep the Joules down.

I alway regret not picking one of these up when they first became available and at the current price I probably really should have bought one!

Cheers for the link. some good photos.
I managed to zoom in a bit more and it looks to be 306S 1913. It looks to me like the battery was plugged in backwards and it fired the board. I've got the broken diode, a chip on the other side is fried so badly I can't see any markings, plus the 3 mosfets are dead and it got so hot it moved their position and delaminated the board. basically it's goosed.
Just need to find a manual now to get the part number for the M system ECU and then start talking to some Japanese contacts to see if they are available. Thankfully it's not my AEG

Internet team assemble...
So I've got a broken NGRS MP5 here and it's blown a component which looks like a diode and I'm struggling to identify the numbers. If someone has better eyesight than me or has a MP5 board lying on their bench can you confirm the markings on the diode.
So far I've got
30aS 1913 or 1915
30eS 1913 or 1915
306S 1913 or 1915
308S 1913 or 1915
30 something else S 1913 or 1915

looks like orange mags are on there way.
Got to love TM's attention to detail including the proof house stamps and the colour/streaking looks spot on.

I'll say this, get other mags . The performance on the DE mags compared to GM mags is very poor
What issues are you seeing with the DE mags? I've got 3 here and they all work fine but I've not spent a massive amount of time with them yet. I'm curious if the issues you are seeing are fixable.

I've got one here. Initial impressions are it's a good copy of the MWS. Everything works as it should and the parts that need to be steel are steel.
Negatives are it's very dry out the box and needs a good lub. I have a horrible high pitched ping from the recoil spring but I think a bit of lub will sort that out. The other thing to watch out for is the QC. I've found a few loose screws straight out the box so it's worth giving it a once over when you get one to make sure everything is tight. It might even be worthwhile using loctite on anything that is loose out the box.
Also worth pointing out with mine that the FPS is very consistant with very little variation between shots which is nice.

I used the smoke silencer in anger today and had a blast. I really need to sort out a tracer as well as at one point I was in a dark corridor in a prison and firing semi with no idea if my BB's were hitting the target because of all the smoke and flash (this was a whole lot of fun and no I wasn't blind firing, I'd put the red dot on the target and fires a couple of BB's but fook knows if my BB's went on target as I couldn't see a thing because of the smoke and flash effect).
Oh and I seem to have ended up with a Spectna Arms Mk18 with the Gate mosfet fitted.

not for everyone but if someone is interested in a GBLS then you can pick one up for less than $1000 (about 770 quid minus shipping and import fees) from JKArmy. This is about $500 less than the normal price
