UK stores recommend the 7.4 or 8.4v, US stores recommend 8.4v or 9.6v - and a few sites claim 11.1v compatibility. Price matched a £1 off too. While I have had no surprises, it is still managing to be lower quality than I expected (for £154 item manufactured outside the UK). I would not call anything I dislike about it 'unexpected' and I am quite happy with it - not fired yet. G&Gs manufacturing tolerances between the parts seems to be lax, but the parts themselves seem individually fine, small amount of rattle, but it is quite lightweight, and overall I don't have any regrets at this point. Well, except that I have foolishly not ordered a sling. Shame it does not have ambi mag release.

How do you find out what battery (shape/size) to buy?

Are there any out of the box upgrades due for this gun, should I change the hop up? I've noticed that in the places that like G&G in the us have a least some respect for their, supposedly 6.04 barrels.

Has anyone tried the tracer hop up units?

I find the small resealable bags, but with a small pin hole in them, so they have no air in the bags besides the minimum for the BBs, much less BB movement. That said, I don't carry them around.

As long as you're polite, what's the harm, us newbies (especially when erroneous) will never learn otherwise!

Wolf armouries recently dropped their TM PS90 HS price by £65, matching the price Trigger quoted above. The other two are cheaper also.

Feel your pain, I can't find the gun (VFC Mk16) I would like anywhere either. Wolf armouries has all three TM P90s in stock, but atm I cannot recommend the store, nor their poor non competitive pricing.

Do you have a UKARA number? I ask, because while you have specified GBP, it is completely unclear why.

I don't think there is a functional/compatibility difference between m4 and M16 magazines, in airsoft, from what I can tell it's purely cosmetic. I ascertain m4/m16 magazines are available in capacities of:20,30,40,50,79,80,82,85,120,130,140,170,300,350,450,850,2500 and several others. I have no idea where the transition point between low and mid cap falls on the list above, I don't know whether low cap are just "anything wot is realistic". Personally I think I'll be looking to run with four 120rds and six 30rds mags. So, what makes a good airsoft M4 Magazine? This question absolutely goes to cosmetics too

Is it your first gun? Also, age is important, don't buy second hand if you cannot at least find out if A, the seller was the original purchaser, and B, when the gun was originally purchased. I'll never understand why it's so easily - to be deliberate - left out of almost all adverts. (I am not saying third hand is a deal breaker)

OP there is nothing wrong with your choice of terms, thread derailed a little, but nothing wrong with the choice of words. As for age, I was just getting at how it sounds, not what it might mean.
