  1. Yeah, except, that I'm not saying you're not entitled to it, nor that I think anything contentious of your opinion - just that I can't understand it.
  2. You need to clarify weapon a somewhat, many airsoft guns are not even classified as lethal. www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/27/section/19 (Carrying Firearms in a Public Place) www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/27/schedule/6 (Table of punishments) www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/41 Not accurate - sentence is 6 months. It would depend on whether the available defences apply to non adults: www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/37 I cannot see why they would not = you can carry it. I think airsofting is the "or of illustrating conduct from a particular time or period in the past" So no scifi weapons, they're illegal
  3. Generally hire is £15-£30. Starter guns are £150. Theres nothing wrong with two tone guns - just remember that the colours varies between retailers, you don't have to have blue/orange. EDIT: Good starter guns*
  4. Oh dear, my literal interpretation again.
  5. I'm sorry you (Mxhaze) could not apprehend a single word post without negative connotations.
  6. Police might still stop/shoot you. You might want to cover it with something, ideally not something gun shaped. Also, trigger locks are to stop unauthorised users - not the owner, so blocking the trigger with a locked device would provide you no relief if it was to prevent "yourself" from using it - that would be silly.
  7. GoPro Hero. Technically it was free, i'd never have bought the basic model otherwise.
  8. Be sure to carry it safely (discretely), if you can't provide the police with a defence*, a rifle bag (which, while proper storage) may draw unwanted attention. A plain/original box would be good. *You almost always can AFAIK, it's just how long do you want to spent convincing them to give it back to you, 10 minutes or 2 weeks.
  9. How about you articulate a response instead of being defensive - I was not objecting, judging, critiquing, disliking, disagreeing, or saying in any way shape or form that I had a problem with your post. Contextually, I am on the edge of buying and I keep switching between £350 weapons and £120 weapons. I am interested to know what how money (others have spent) has anything to do with the gameplay experience. Will I enjoy the game more if I spend less and play against people who spend more?
  10. I was using Mechanix Fastfit for airsoft, but they were accidentally lost by someone who is not me. I did not think they were perfect for airsoft, for £15 they were a good starter, they protected my hands from the environment and prevented BBs drawing blood, but they did little more. But: I would use them again! I had multicam, I think'd go with something darker this time, not a fan of black though, Two questions (the second one is more important): 1. Which mechanix gloves maintain sensation and motor control/dexterity while also protecting the back of the hands? 2. Are any other gloves good for consideration? Currently looking at getting Mechanix M-Pact Gloves. Or The original
  11. I think UPS just send that, or other similar forms, for all imports which are on regulated harmonized codes (930..... for firearms), if there is duty due on the package then UPS will charge their flat rate duty clearance of £11 and also bill you the VAT. If you should be paying duty on your package then you gain nothing by not filling in this form, AFAIK. But I don't think you need provide UKARA unless there is a RIF in the package.
  12. http://www.airsoftgb.com/come-and-play/ This is utter BS right?
  13. Why is this a problem? Though I dont think there will be many clip reloaded weapons in airsoft though. Nothing wrong with saying clip instead of mag, as long as you mean clip. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clip_%28firearms%29 "The defining difference between clips and magazines is the presence of a feed mechanism in a magazine, typically a spring-loaded follower, which a clip lacks."
  14. You can still be 'realistic' with hicaps, just unload them to wind, simple. I do however subscribe to the underlined quote below: http://airsoftoperator.com/why-using-high-caps-is-for-your-bad-health/ "My conscious choice to handicap myself by using realistic capacity magazines is one for game play. It adds stresses and strains to your game. You have to count your shots, you have to carry more weight. You have to think things through. You have to be aware. Reloads can change the pace of a battle. You wait for the lapse in fire to make your move, they add another element to the tactics. You can bait people into firing at you more, so they’ll need to reload sooner, giving you a window. You can use the enemy’s ammo as a weapon. With high caps there is no lapse in fire, if you get pinned by a high cap, you’re going to be pinned for a long time. I would argue that high caps require a lot less skill to use effectively and I think many would struggle to argue against that notion. When you have that much ammo, it’s a lot easier to hose areas down than play effectively with proper tactics. Even high cap users that use semi only – that’s no better. In fact it means they take longer to get through all their ammo, so the time before they need to reload becomes even longer, making it even harder for anyone else to make a move on them."
  15. Are left handed draw glock airsoft holsters a thing?

Thanks, Ill research them tomorrow, when I get home.

  16. As seen on TV - so it must be good, Right? (Movie Spoilers - just watch for 10 seconds, no further)
  17. Practice your draw tbh, ever play Call of Duty or battlefield? In those games the speed of dropping the primary to the sling and drawing the sidearm is always faster than reloading - and they're supposed to be realistic.
  18. You could convert a firing mechanism for the APS CAM870M shotgun shells, each shell is a self contained gas and bb device. Edit: watched the video for the 3d printed attachment on page one, that goes nicely on a pistol.
  19. http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Kingsman:_The_Secret_Service#Kingsman_Pistol_.28TT-30.29 Like this?
  20. What is the advantage to this, over buying in bulk? What is your affiliation with the manufacturers? Will the service have hidden costs for international shipping, will you take payment in other currencies to save your buyers incurring exchange charges with their banks/paypal etc?
  21. The whois info gives a name and address at that location
