  2. Polarstar fusion engine v3 £450 - 12 months old, used@ zeroin £400 New (UK dealer) I've not joined zeroin so I cant tell him.
  3. Think I might buy some for those super light CQB days. But for now, got a battlebelt and PC incoming.
  4. Very poor taste putting the link in your loadout, fyi.
  5. /me buys mag storage for 16 M4 mags (two separate platforms which I have no intention of using simultaneously) and then discovers these. Crye Precision Magclips (£25/3 in the uk) The knock offs are £2.5-£4.5. Has anyone used these for airsoft ?
  6. Never come across casket magazines before now; guess the airsoft version of this has quite high realcaps?
  7. As long as you always chronograph with 0.2g BBs (for the purposes of shooting people) you've nothing to worry about. Some airsofters will disagree (at least that's been my experience), but if you're not shooting people you can up the FPS and energy to whatever you like*. Airsoft guns are only airsoft guns because they are safe to shoot people - IMO. *try to avoid pushing the gun into a different firearm category though (for legal reasons ).
  8. OP, you're not the first who wanted to enter the sport this way, I was one too - though I dropped that notion before I started using airsoft forums, because of all the naysayers, I applaud your tenacity at going into airsoft this way. Please do keep us up to date on how you find entering the sport by this vector. No objection to the weight, but Is 0.43g safe to use at 20 metres MED? The AFUK app says the force in Joules of a [500 [email protected]] gun firing 0.43g (341fps) BB is the same as on a gun which fires 500fps with 0.2g. = 2.32
  9. FLYYE Single Point Sling (Ranger Green) MAGPUL PTS Molle Speed Threader
  10. How can you tell the difference between the actual LIPO charging bags and the chinese-not-as-effective-as-they-should-be ones?
  11. The removals here seem to occur quite peacefully, warnings would be counter productive, particularly when the recipient believes the seller was disingenuous with their price setting.
  12. Without proof it would be hearsay, but who would do that. lol
  13. I decided to pass on bulk ordering for now, instead I just ordered a single hexmag. Thanks for all the responses.
  14. UK stores recommend the 7.4 or 8.4v, US stores recommend 8.4v or 9.6v - and a few sites claim 11.1v compatibility. Going with: http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/batteries-bbs-gas-chronographs-c5/batteries-c62/we-airsoft-europe-7-4v-2600mah-20c-crane-stock-lipo-p3197 http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/batteries-bbs-gas-chronographs-c5/batteries-c62/we-airsoft-europe-7-4v-1450mah-25c-crane-stock-lipo-p3193 Having just noticed cells are different in LiPOs. 17/07/2015: Well, I bought it from Land Warrior Airsoft yesterday and received it today. Price matched a £1 off too. While I have had no surprises, it is still managing to be lower quality than I expected (for £154 item manufactured outside the UK). I would not call anything I dislike about it 'unexpected' and I am quite happy with it - not fired yet. G&Gs manufacturing tolerances between the parts seems to be lax, but the parts themselves seem individually fine, small amount of rattle, but it is quite lightweight, and overall I don't have any regrets at this point. Well, except that I have foolishly not ordered a sling. Shame it does not have ambi mag release.
  15. How do you find out what battery (shape/size) to buy?
  16. Have to be careful to avoid "because I can", where "but I shouldn't" rules.
  17. Are there any out of the box upgrades due for this gun, should I change the hop up? I've noticed that in the places that like G&G in the us have a least some respect for their, supposedly 6.04 barrels.
