At the mall yesterday, I had to ask a ~15yr hire (holding a gun by the grip) to remove the magazine and I asked someone to re-angle their gun because my head would have been in front of the muzzle when I opened my bag. I also failed to clear my own gun at least once - though I don't touch my own guns in the safe zone after putting them down - but that does not necessarily mean I set them to safe either - I rely on trigger discipline more than the safety. I've also been shot at while in a safezone, thankfully the kid's (13) gun was flat on the desk at the time, destroyed my lunchbox though - he thought the safety was on and as far as I can tell, pulled the trigger while trying to change the hop. I'm looking for some shooting glasses brands to consider that will be good enough for game play (ballistic rated to =>3J), cost not more than £55, but which I will only use in the safezone/going to chrono. I could just get a £10 mesh mask/goggle, but I like to cool down in the safezone. What do you guys think about Twice19's comment about wearing light eyepro in the safezone? I think it's an excellent idea.

I don't mind using lots of 600 mah lipos, I just can't shoulder the crane with my PC, and I like the narrow stocks more anyway.

I want to get a CTR for my G&G CM18, but nowhere could tell me for sure about compatibility.

If its a cyma gun (usually cheap, least assume i'm assuming it was.), have you considered just buying another of the same type which comes with the furniture you want?

I don't know, I see a lot of people with Tan guns and CB gear. And black is supposedly just as useless if not more so.

Never heard of 345 before, where's that? I have only personal experience with G&G and CYMA, but if your budget is that high, might want to squeeze for a gun with a quick change spring. For the most part FPS limits are for health and safety not targets . As long as your gun takes your desired weight (0.20g to 0.33g) at 270 FPS, just forget about it. I think people spend more time trying to reduce FPS than increase it.

Do not buy a sniper rifle (as a first/second gun) 5. Play with a rental gun or, 5.1. Buy an Electric Automatic Gun (AEG), spend between £110 and £160, but not more than £200 including eye protection, batteries/charger. You do not need a scope for your first games; if indoors, buy an under £15 flashlight. To take a long story short, out of the box airsoft sniper rifles are the same as the AEG, but much slower and arduous to use. You don't need a good gun to enjoy airsoft, but you do need one which is not unnecessarily limited. If you really do move slowly, you might want to branch out into DMR or sniper play for airsoft after a few months, but even if you were wheelchair bound, no one would recommend starting with a sniper rifle. EDIT: If you didn't have other concerns, i'd have not said "but not more than".

I'd say if you make up not more than 8.3% (1/12th) of the team no will care about your contribution even if you're having a mid-game picnic. Play your game. Have you played airsoft before?
