A little off topic but for this year for my electrical engineering college course we need to produce a project. This can be something entirely new or an improvement on an existing item. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

Just bought myself one of G&G's revolvers, cracking little gun but does anyone know where I can get some extra shells for it? A quick Google search hasn't provided me with anything useful. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all I've got a cybergun SAR-10 (I'm pretty sure its another TM clone) and it runs off a co2 capsule that's placed into the blot itself. My question to all of the VSR lovers out there is weather or not I can just drop in a spring bolt so it becomes site legal (the box claims roughly 600 fps!!) my second question is where do I get a full spring bolt set (or if they even exist) Thanks!

Hi all I have recently been tempted to dive into the vast and mysterious world of gas blow back sub machine guns. I am looking for a decent starter and I don't want to have to sell my kidneys to buy it. i have stumbled across the WE smg 8 and I wanted to ask if it is a decent first gbb smg or not as I have heard mixed reviews. Me and my dad do some work at a museum on an RAF base and they have loads of guns on display but some are missing or too damaged to display. Everyone was talking about buying deactivated ones but the costs would be way too high so I suggested using airsoft guns, obviously you don't want to put two tone guns on display so my question is how do you prove that you work for a museum when you go to purchase a RIF? thanks in advance

I was starting to think kharma was the problem the motor spins freely when its out of the gun and I'm pretty sure about the polarity. oh well I'll take it to tuddenham and see what their tech can do.

Hey all I own an ares L1A1 slr and it does not want to work. the problem is that whenever I pull the trigger the motor kind of jumps? I don't really know how to explain it but 1 can defiantly hear that it wants to spin but there seems to be something stopping it from turning the gears. If anyone has had this issue, or similar, any help is greatly appriciated.

Ok. So I've decided to bite the BB and purchase another gun. I plan to order it first thing on Monday morning from Zero one airsoft. My question to you guys is: How long does it take for them to two tone and ship your gun? If anyone has used this service your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

So I finally took the L1A1 apart....I've never seen a more complex and awkward trigger selector and trigger system.

Hey guys. So I own the L1A1 made by Ares. The other week it stopped functioning so i decided to look for a place to get it repaired, I looked everywhere and I eventually decided to open it up myself, I found the cause of the problem and it is to do with the fire selector not pushing the selector plate on the gearbox back far enough for the trigger mechanism to engage the micro switch. You can tell when the micro switch is not being clicked properly as there is a really loud clicking noise and the gun does not function If anyone owns this gun and has had this problem or similar, or if anyone knows how to take the fire selector off the help would be much appreciated.

Hey guys. I am in need of some full face protection. As I am 16 I have to use full face protection but I am stumped on who makes good protection and who to avoid. Price is not an issue as I'd much rather spend money on a decent mask than to have half of my tooth refilled after a stray bb has chipped the other half off. If anyone can give me some advice on good makes or even link me to some good masks that would be great Thanks in advance

Hi guys and girls, I recently recieved the parts of an AGM Sten from a friend. It came my way in fairly poor condition, for example the paint was a crappy green two-tone that was 80% worn down. Anyway I took it on as a restoration project and I'm more than halfway there but there are a few things keeping me from having a nice restored Sten gun. I have broken the objectives down into specific chunks to make it it easier for people to read. The Gearbox You may or may not know that the Sten uses a version 7 gearbox. My problem with this is that I have read that most of the gearbox parts are compatible with version 2/3 but I don't know specifically what parts. To be more specific the gearbox is missing its anti reversal latch. If anyone could give me a list of what parts are compatible that would be awesome. The Externals the Sten was missing a few screws when it came and it still is missing one or two. if anyone has a Sten and could tell me the size of the screws that hold the upper and lower receiver together that would be great. Also if anyone knows if the 110 round magazines work in the Sten that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys

Hello all, I am planning on getting myself an ASG scorpion evo soon (I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited ) I only have one real issue before I go ahead and purchase it and that is the battery. I have heard and read about the fact that this gun has been designed to use an 11.1v lipo battery exclusively. This is an issue for me as I have only ever used 9.6v NiMH batteries and I have heard some pretty scary things (myths) about lipo batteries such as them being impossible to charge correctly and if you over charge them for too long they explode or something . So I am just asking for general advice on lipo batteries as I am completely new to them. Also if anyone has an evo and can recommend a suitable battery that works and fits in the gun that would also be great. Thanks in advice. James.

Hello all. I have an army l85 aeg I inherited from my Dad not to long ago. It functions fine (after replacing the piston ) but upon close inspection I have discovered that the mock gas parts have been removed. I asked my Dad about this and he said it was one of his master plans to fit another battery in the hand guard for and easy change. (if your're wondering, no it did not work xD) So my request is anyone with an army l85 (or similar) can you post some pictures of your gas parts as reference shots so I can give replacing them myself a go. Or if anyone has a broken l85 and they are wiling to part with their gas parts I am more than happy to take them of your hands
