Yep or the mechbox is locking up/broken. But most likely electrical if it cycles once. If there was any problems with your batteries the imax would show a fault. You do balance charge them not fast charge I take it?

As said still basically a rebrander just a better one. Very few things people buy are actually made by the company named on it so normal business practice though really, and not just in airsoft.

Put in battery/gas/bbs and pull the trigger if bb leaves the barrel it works if not it's fucked.... was that so hard?

Agreed no one should be using nimh anymore. Lots of the airsoft community are stuck in yesteryear though unfortunately.

Not originally, G&G changed it that after they realised they had fucked up. Would be better if it ran on 7.4v or 9.9 life as less prone to failure but not a huge issue.

It is not disingenuous as nothing underhand I am down right cynical though. More chance of falling out the shower and banging your head seriously than you have in airsoft. So when someone tells me they wear one because they play cqb I am going to snort and have a derisive dig. Personal choice but in no way necessary and most of the cheap airsoft repros are probably more damaging than good. See a few break sharply when knocked. I will just put my faith in not being a clumsy fucker. (Actually looking back on my list of injuries that might be a bad idea)

I prefer cqb and that has been my mainstay for the last seven years. But never felt the need for a helmet and I don't play slowly and softly. People wear helmets for looks and those that try to claim protection is a bit of a reach. They are good for taking the bb sting out because that can make you jump sometimes but a hat is almost as good. A few might genuinely wear them believing it will help with the protection but lets not kid ourselves that many do. I have no problem with people wearing them but lets be honest about why they do.

They wear them because it helps fulfill their soldier wannabe dress up fetish. They never look "cool" but hey each to their own. You don't need protection from a bb strike and most airsoft lids wouldn't offer much protection if you fell. Some claim they are necessary in case you bang your head but would you wear one for a hike in the woods or when trail running?

All AEG vectors are shite. The gas one is ok-ish but a lot of money for meh.
