  1. Not in tracers there isn't, can get Geoffs when in stock but can't think of any others.
  2. Yeah but it was nothing didn't really pierce and caused less damage than a windy day at the beach. Yes the bb shattered but slowed down so it caused no real damage. All players who wear it know the slight risks and sign a waiver so personal choice is where it should be. Worst eye injury I ever saw was a guy whacking into a wall and his glasses frame split above his eye but you cant ban glasses frames either.
  3. Funny I have played airsoft for years primarily cqb and have never seen or heard of anyone getting seriously injured because of wearing mesh eyepro. I would actually trust a pair of heroshark glasses far more than the cheap china eyepro worn by half the community.
  4. That is just begging to have a school disco/prom theme 🕺
  5. Then you really need to get out more 😁 Looks good but needs more darkness
  6. £60 that is very cheap. Yeah Frontiers are cheap and so are baofeng radios but the ptt between the two costs a fair amount.
  7. For most people it probably isn't a big issue but when we are PMing our coms need to be perfect. My fist mic has lemo and 3.5 connections plus 2 transmit buttons and a mute so it is a busy little thing.
  8. Used to get too much background noise pick up. Probably wouldn't be such a big issue outdoors but indoors it was a pain. Had it all modified so radio transmission was all through the fist mic. Me and another marshal had it done along with dual channel coms through JC before he really put the business out.
  9. No the ear mic on the racals is a pain in the arse. Mine is diconnected and they use the ppt fist mic.
  10. In the last couple of days it has become very fluent in various ways to tell people to go get fucked. Funny thing is if I put my name in the words to follow are "you are such a twat" 🤔
  11. FML you're right how did I miss that. Been using my wife's back up phone while I get mine fixed and it has one of those learning predictive spell checkers on it. Great idea until it has spent 2yrs in the hands of my dyslexic wife 🤪
  12. Gotta try though right if not this place will just become a horrible elitist little clickey forum. It is getting close now so how about just once in a while we go back to trying to educate rather than just berate. If they don't listen then gloves off it is.
  13. Not really as his reaction is from being posted on this thread. A quiet word works better than one that starts confrontational.
  14. To be fair this probably shouldn't of ended up in here. Yeah the price is a bit high and should of started about 50 quid lower at £200 but this thread should really be for the chancers. The type that buy a £500 gun take £350s worth of parts out put £400 worth of parts in then ask £900 for it. If a price is smidge too high a PM to let them know is a better starting point. If they reply shitty the hang them out to dry but a lot will hold their hands up and adjust the price.
  15. Becoming more common and yeah it's fucking stupid.
  16. Some of the new ultra bright uv tracers do not illuminate red very well. Something to do with light frequencies.
  17. No we are talking about to be certified if there was a register of techs. At the moment anyone can claim to be a tech, it is kind of like someone who can change a plug claiming to be a sparky.
  18. No all four main types are so simple that one course could easily cover all. How about all techs must have a proven engineering background whether degree, apprenticeship or just years of on job experience then sit a basic competency test?
  19. Because it has no warranty, is overpriced as a used gun and it is an Ares.
  20. No such thing as a professional airsoft technician. There is such a thing as engineering though which is where I earn my paycheck. If I ever do decide to go into fixing airsoft guns full time I would do so by going under the umbrella of a machining firm I know that has a nice empty workshop space I can take. For now though doing the bits I do I get by using the resources of the mid sized engineering company that I work for and who give me free access to do anything I need. That's why I don't just put bits in but actually manufacturer bespoke parts when needed.
