Can anyone shed some light on which batteries fit in a TM Scar H. Managed to get the rifle second hand

Easiest thing I find with batteries is to go on Firesupports website. Search the gun and they always give a guide on what batteries to use for it.

After a valuation on another L119a1 build I was working on. It's a WE M4 AEG base gun, internally stock to the best of my knowledge except for a G&G TB barrel, still front wired to small tamiya. Externals include: 556 style silencer Modded front sight post (cut down bayonet lug) KAC style RIS dummy PEQ box foregrip red dot style Acog XM177 style stock G&P storm grip Gun shoots around 300 fps

I know TMC have cloned the D3, have they done the heavy version?

Easiest thing to do without upping the the FPS by accident is adding a G hop or R hop. Both of which can be found on youtube.

hugely over priced for what it is. you can buy a VSR and grab parts from ASPUK for a lot cheaper. Or buy a clone, some of them are good base guns. -

I might stick it up for a trade, but for £450 there's no way I'd go lower, I've seen them go second hand for £370 just with a mag, let alone with 6 mags and the other bits. Definitely tempted on getting a TM Scar H

Acog doesn't come with it, comes with everything else though the PEQ is just a dummy one.

Based on cheapest UK pricing new, not including postage: Base gun and one mag - £440 Additional G5 mags - £44.95 x 5 = 224.75 L119a1 barrel extension - £15 XM117 stock - £24.95 Stock pad - £15 Flash hider - 20 Based on the usual 70% second hand rule, I'd be hoping for £450-500 ideally.

Here's a question, my UKARA has expired recently. Surely having held one up until recently is proof enough to purchase a RIF?

The law states thats its legal to sell/buy a rif for the purpose of playing airsoft.
Ukara membership needs rewriting so that as long as you attend an event say every 12 months after gaining your initial membership your covered. Renewing every year is a joke. Yes the retailer could of sold you a gun because a ukara membership is not required just a valid defense. Problem being even people in the industry dont always quite understand the whole ukara/vcra thing so they have to play safe.

Here we have my GHK M4 (L119A1 build), less than a year old. Potentially looking to part with this and move on to another project, so after a rough price. Gun has had less than 1k through it. Completely stock internally, had a worn paint job done to it Gun will come with 5 xGHK G5 mags 1x GHK M4 mag L11a1 barrel extension Surefire flash hider Correct stock and stock pad Storm pistol grip Any ideas on pricing would be appreciated.

The rifling does not undo the hop, if anything it helps it work better by allowing air around the BB and reduces the ricochets of the inner barrel. I've run these in loads of guns and still do in a few, in fact my short barrelled tippman has the TK barrel in it and it has great accuracy and range, considering I run the gun at 330 and the inner barrel is about 200mm long, it range isn't far off my old CTW which was hop modded. If you play at <330 fps this barrel is great with a g&g bucking, even better if you use the g&g flat hopped. They are stupidly hard to get nowadays but they do perform very well

One thing recently that's annoying me more and more is UK sellers happily selling hot rifles, then charge £35+ to bring it down to UK law :S

^ agree but sounds easy to worm way out of. Could argue the purpose of the gun is only its appearance and listed functionality and there's many types of defence for owning it only one being airsofting skirmishing. 350fps is a common standard for skirmishing but not law, perhaps a limit is defined in site insurance, be interesting to know what's in such policies as it'll be much more specific than the terribly vague UK law
