  3. You'd just mill the window first, then ream the inner barrel to final diameter after, removing any burr.

  4. My favourite part "I'm trying to trade it for a hpa rifle or hpa smg" Even if his gun was worth what he's asking that's still nowhere near what hpa guns go for

  7. Hi, I've been out of the Airsoft world for years but got my old rifles down from the attic and thought I'd share my hop 10 year old hop experiment that still shoots incredibly consistent straight shots. I messed about with r-hops and flat hops which were the rage back then, I figured the larger the contact area the less chance of a perfect distribution of pressure, (the bb is likely to grab slightly to the left or right). I decided to chop off the end of a cheap barrel and file a tiny window, which was actually not easy as you end up with large metal burrs that you need to carefully file away with vertical strokes. I just stuck some rubber over it and it just works. Is this something that has been tried? I'd imagine it would be hard to mass manufacture due to the burr clean but I'd love to see something like it in the market.

  8. You'd get that with any window, it's just a question of how small the file needs to be to get the corners. I haven't tried an enclosed window, but I've cut a GBB/VSR style slot into a barrel (unhopped gas revolver) and squished RTV silicone in. I didn't work, but it's fun to experiment.

Reducing the number of mags isn't necessarily the objective or beneficial. I had a mate ditch his primary and use his sidearm only. Let's just say that running out of ammo mid-game was identified before he went to the game area as a likely outcome and that he did it twice without learning his lesson. ?

Latest purchase, Zoxna V2 mini launcher. The barrel diameter is pretty much spot on for the pulse rifle underslung. I'll need to mount the front part of the underslung differently as at the moment it opens to allow battery fitting. Then mount the Zoxna . Will require some faffing about but will be worth it to have the pulse rifle launcher working.

Round counter functions ! Done a bit of paint on the underslung too, gone for the Halfords camo black on that.

  18. Latest contender. put a £200 stock pistol in a case with £150 in mags and some vaguely worded cheap upgrades and it’s worth £500 second hand ? if he itemised it properly, I might be wrong and it could be £750 of kit new… but I suspect the upgraded hop, springs and barrel aren’t going to add £200 to the value of the kit.
