Just saw this on Facebook. I never met the guy personally, but I have played at a couple of his sites on a number of occasions (Bunker and Valiant), each visit was a great experience. Not everyone agreed with his opinions and his site rules could be a bit...divisive... but the airsoft community (particularly in the south) has lost a powerhouse. He's been talking for some time about the transition of management for the respective sites, so I am glad to see that UCAP isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable.

Is this going to be built well enough to survive gbbr use?

Proud to be bringing the first readily available OKP-7 replica to the UK market! Currently have a Picatinny version in production, just waiting on some information back from the factory next week and hopefully I can launch a dovetail rail version at the same price point, or maybe ever so slightly more depending on cost. Discount available for initial customers willing to pre-order, before going to full price on general launch (ETA early August) https://www.raresoft.co.uk/product-page/raresoft-optics-okp-7-replica-picatinny-version

Andy used to let us run monster vehicle based private games at sandpit for cheap. Great site. He was a big figure in the airsoft scene for many years. RIP.

FMA clone of the Magpul MS3 sling works beautifully with my MP5. Fits the QD criteria, when set up as a single point and connects directly to the HK rear mount. £20 🤷♂️

Just to let you guys know. Andy Stevens, who owns UCAP finally succumbed to his illness, and sadly passed today. R.I.P Andy.

Another vote for "What problem does QD solve that the existing mount doesn't"? Other than possibly that you already own a QD sling and don't want another one. Urban ERT do a one/two point sling that will use the existing mount point and you can choose whether you want to use an HK hook or fabric with a QR buckle. I'm sure there are many similar by other sling manufacturers. I've got a legit HK 3 point but I don't tend to use it because I've previously found that the metal mid body hook above the magwell that you use to carry it in port arms and then punch forward tends to be weak on airsoft guns. Instead I usually run one of the HK bungee slings. Which seem a bit overpriced for what they are, but it works okay given how light the thing is and that you're usually not patrolling with it. HK hook does chew up the paintwork on the sling mount a bit though. As everyone else has said, the answer to the original question is "get someone else to buy it and ship it to you".

A quick google; https://www.ant-supplies.uk/gun-sling-fittings/ It might have some potential. Or maybe try another gun smith/hunting store?

These are slowly becoming collectible and more scarce, 2006 Manufactured, In full working order. Despite the slight delamination (proof it’s real in itself) the reticle is still bright and usable outside. Hasn’t lost its nitrogen seal so there’s no clouding glass is still clear and doesn’t fog. I have tried my best to photograph this, delamination not visible in use. Equally tried to photograph the reticle in a bright environment. Hood shows signs of very obvious use, I believe it may be ex-police like most that seem to be popping up on the market. Will post with batteries included. price includes PP&P I do have another one of slightly better condition I’ll be listing soon£275

It'd be an easy enough thing to make on a lathe. Only cutting the inner groove for the locking ball bearings would be tricky, but probably only need a tool ground to shape for it. (Or do that part on a mill.)

Legit Wilcox L2G05 mount. Sits nods nicely in front of helmet when stowed. Has a cool (optional) breakaway feature for those who might need that kind of thing. Seen here with the screw and spacer set up I used for my helmet, but it will come with the original screw set up. If you'd like I can include a variety bolts, nuts, spacers, washers etc. £200 posted and paypalled in UK.£200

Went on a bit of a C2R rampage 🇬🇧 C2R Chameleon with a few different skin sets, dangler, spare shoulder pads & a couple Spriritus Mk4s (with SMG & AR inserts). Not sure which camo to go for, about to mix them 🤣 Working on getting a C2R placard next! -
You might have more luck by checking the Japanese sites/marketplaces like Yahoo Auctions. They tend to have a LOT of second-hand RS stuff for sale there, including a lot of HK parts. Waiting and looking for the specific item you are searching for can unfortunately take a while, but just stick at it and you'll eventually find what you need. Once you have found what your looking for, you can then use services such as "JapanRabbit" to import them from Japan. Just make sure you add the note "FOR USE WITH AIRSOFT" in the description!!! As long as you aren't importing restricted parts (i.e. load-bearing RS parts, etc), and just sticking to furniture/accessories, you shouldn't have any real problems.

I suspect for considerably less money, you could get someone to machine a version. I would presume the standardised spec for a qd socket is available online, that just needs to be backed with a correct length/diameter post that is female threaded at the end.

New tm akm fit with steel kit and a rather nice Aohate wood kit. Never skirmished and only test fired. Slight gap between stock and receiver (see pics) magazine well is a bit tight and probably needs filing for a smoother fit and the dry fire switch doesn't work which I assume is due to the the steel kit tolerance. Only reason for selling is that I have the VFC ak74. Will include original receiver but not the plastic furniture. UK only£630
