  5. Relying to my own post above, the only workable way to fill the GM mag is to eject the shell and lock back the follower which is a bit of a faff. I destroyed my speed loader this weekend trying to load this and my DE stanag mag, then borrowed someone else's loader which lasted one mag before shattering a BB inside itself jamming the feed chute. So I'm now on the hunt for a better speed loader. The 6mmProShop one's look good but they are only available from the US with hefty shipping.
  6. Any opportunity to put my hands in my pockets.
  7. Websites gone backwards a few hours 🤔

  8. custom gbb workshop sig p365 xmacro vfc gbb para bellum kit
  9. Worth noting for those AKX owners: - Hephaestus do a very good NPAS Nozzle. - dragonworkshop do a complete after market nozzle replacement. - FEDA do a nozzle shell replacement that promises a slight boost in FPS.
  10. A gnatty little RS Arisaka hand stop for my OSW
  11. Ah - where do I even start. The Tokyo Marui AKX is where it all started for me, my first ever airsoft gun. Some say I jumped straight into the deep end with it but if you ask me, it’s the only way to do it. A gun I’ll never sell, I’ve even started stocking up on spares to further future proof it. I’ve had it close to 2 years now and I now own 5 guns including an M4 MWS, I can comfortably say the AKX is still my favourite of the bunch, never skipped a beat on me. the only ever time it failed on was in the middle of winter at around 2 degrees Celsius on an outdoor field on full auto, the nozzle wasn’t sealing as it had completely frozen up. I warmed up the bolt and mag with my hands and it was back to normality - this issue is totally normal for gas guns in cold temperatures. I must say, the gun shoots exceptionally well out of the box - my first 3 skirmishes I had ran it completely stock internally and it done just fun (as expected from a Tokyo Marui) however it did lack a little punch, so I updated the following: (I went balls deep in on the upgrades) - tight bore inner 6.01mm barrel 250mm length, which yes - does slightly stick out of the front when the muzzle is off. Some people did say it was too tight for an auto capable gun, to which I would ever so slightly agree I think the 6.03mm barrels would do just fine. But the 6.01 never let me down and enables absolute laser beams. - QU4D hop rubber, at first i put in as experimental because they were new on the market - it’s safe to say I haven’t looked back and now have one in my MWS. - 70degree hop nub, you can comfortably hop .30g BBs stock, I just went the extra mile. - ibex NPAS, great little unit would recommend holds its adjustment without fail. - Bavtac 115% recoil spring, you’ll realise quickly the stock spring feels very sluggish and lifeless. Again, would recommend if you’re after that snappy realistic bolt kick. - heavy recoil bolt weight, in all honesty probably not needed. I’ve also bought a Airtac HPA adaptor, lines and tank for it too but nowadays I’m after realism, I’m currently running 6 gas mags. (The reloads are just too satisfying). I won’t bother going into the furniture but one thing I would say is to change out the stock, it’s in my opinion the worst thing about the gun. all in all, I’m about £1,500.00 into and yes it’s a lot of money for what is in reality a toy. Would I do it again if I didn’t have the AKX, yes I fucking would. Honestly for anyone thinking of getting an AKX or even the AKM - what a platform it is. (I can assure you that the grip is now on the gun the correct way round ?)
  12. I've got an E&L Essential AKS74un that I use for CQB. I've changed a few of the externals to make it more ergonomic. I'd like to change some of the internals just for the sake of it. I'll probably change the barrel, bucking and mosfet as per the recommendations above. Is there anything else you'd recommend changing internally to make it more efficient at CQB? The sites I play at use either two or three single shot bursts.

  14. Booked in for HQ tomorrow before they close their doors for good.

Always sad to see a site shit down, especially one that's a bit different.

  15. Oh! ?? I've told him im happy to refund it but he's just left me on read, again! I've also offered to send him the thread tap for the handguard but has also left no reply...
  16. Probably a smart idea haha
  17. https://www.18airsoft.com/products/kgb5-150-enhanced-buffer-spring-for-marui-mws-m4-gbb-kgb-mws-001-15?variant=49243607859481 Anybody used one of these before? Looking to get a bit more of a kick out of my MWS and these are pretty cheap.
  18. Keep records of everything regarding it, him denying the help etc. If he does open a dispute then you'll have the evidence you've done the best you can do to help him with the issue. However, whilst I appreciate it was probably beyond your control in the future don't spend the money until you know the purchaser is happy lol
  19. I saw that ad (although you've deleted it now, which doesn't do you any favours tbh). I was tempted by it but wasn't quick enough. Just tell the guy it's refunds or nothing, and I'll have it off you for the same money, no fucking about.
  20. Ive offered him to return it and have it fixed free of charge. He's declined every time I've offered it (4 times now) and is still being a bit of an arse about the mags. I've never been in such a situation before with PayPal. My primary issue is I don't have that money as I've had to take an emergency trip for family reasons hence I was selling it cheap
  21. You have the message receipts of the deal so if he does dispute it, that should be enough evidence to side with you... However the "experts" at PayPal may read your message as "Pay me 210 for everything and I'll give you one extra magazine" which this highly intelligent individual also seemed to think you meant. Re-reading the conversation I can kind of see where he got the miscommunication from. Offer for him to return the replica to you in the same condition it was received and tell him you'll issue a refund excluding fees and postage if he's dissatisfied, 9 times out of 10 that's enough to dissuade them from seeking action AND if he refuses then you have further evidence to prove you did try to handle the situation and he, the buyer, refused your help if he does open a dispute
  22. The fuck is this dude smoking? I had a quick sale listing for £280 for a GBB SR16 build with 6 mags. This dude offers me £170 for the gun, attachments and ONE magazine. We finalise on a deal where I offer £210 and said I'd throw an extra mag in. Cut to today, this geezer messages me saying I've essentially scammed him by nocking him down 7 mags? I don't even have 7 mags! Asking £210 for a GBB with 6 mags is beyond insane, especially for a listing that is asking £280 for it all. Wtf! The handguard I can understand, however it was mentioned in the listing that it was missing a grub screw. He's now threatening going to PayPal for a refund! How am I supposed to get out of this!
  23. Ah it is indeed, thank you. Seeing them like that made it 100% clearer, thank you! Unfortunately the original image wasn't very large to begin with and to download the higher res I had to sign up and have a military ID for the US Army or be a reporter etc lol
  24. trust me , they are G10 railscales.
  25. It's G10 XOS Minidot Railscales. Not helped by the exceptionally low res snip.
  26. The honeycomb looks similar but in the image it looks to me like they're at an angle plus in the image the edges are more trapezoid shaped. I would ideally like to find the exact ones
  27. Railscales Click me
  28. I haven't managed to get my hands on a prime series but I've used and handled guns from other ranges from Specna Arms and they seem well built. I don't have any reason to believe the prime guns would be any different. If it's the recoil you want then get the TM
