    I think an important distinction is that no-one is getting severely injured or killed by RIFs. That was the impetus behind the "Zombie Knife" ban, for example. At worst you'll get idiots getting jumped in public by police who have to treat them as real, but it's not often enough that anyone really gives a shit. Like genuinely, talk to people outside this hobby and they barely know that RIFs exist.

    I can't say for certain on AEGs but with GBBRs when you attach other handguards, you sometimes need a barrel nut spacer so it fits securely. Is that what you're talking about?

    No apology necessary, I think as a forum, 99% of the membership are aware of the inherent risks (& responsibilities) associated with rif ownership, but cosplayers, they take walting to a whole new level, usually have absolutely no interest in what we do, or the time & money many of us have invested in the game, so entertaining their interest in easily obtaining rifs is a big red flag for me. While ive often said said vcra is a crock of 💩, but it's the only one we've got, & if any government ever amends it, itll only get worse, not better.

    Hey all i got a tm aeg with the correct barrol length for the handguard i tried replacing the hanguard with a tm kac rail handguard however didnt fit becuase of it beign slightly too long even though it was for said gun is it possible that the handguard wouldnt fit due to the handguard and end caps being too small or big becuase its the aeg version?

    TM MP7 GBB, used condition, shooting well. You could see that there are some paint chips and dents, otherwise, as pics show, the front cap were broken, my ork friend sbeven (yes its a "b") use foundry adhesive “fix” it, so cause of that, the SF style flash hider could not be removed or replaced anymore. Come with totally 4 mags include a leak one. FPS test used 0.25g BB The price of new TM mp7 is £290+-, each mag is £35+-. so I could do (290+35*3)*0.45=£185+10p&p or 215 all inc for mp7 set and wadsn peq & torch set happy for asking regards, Sh

    Apologies to @tackle The police often do deal with RIFs in public, the cosplayer jumped on by a group of police in London last month for example They get dealt with in a suitable manner - often including ‘strong words of advice’ but including enforcement of the law. This community among others helps a lot by condemning inappropriate use, and when backing up suitable activity (such as on topic for 3D printing RIF parts - as to good intent on playing airsoft or bad intent on bypassing non airsofters problem with buying RIFs) Don’t get too worried about “they will come after us due to idiots”, do be aware of the possibility, but if we are a good community who think of protecting our hobbies then we look like the responsible good guys

    Guys, are you able to completely delete your old completed ads ?, do you have any drop down menu's that give you your own moderation options ? I ask as if I go on them, being a mod I probably have a slightly different options menu. While deleting them entirely isn't ideal, it will hopefully open up spaces for your new adverts ? Let me know what you see ?

    The Bond Wick item probably originated on E bay hence all the two popular names so it shows up in more searches. May not be the same scammer though, there lazy bastards and copy other peoples adds, real or legit.

    Looking at the gas tube, I'd say yes. BUT...this is airsoft, so your mileage may vary. Why not just go for an AKMSU?

    Hence why we're not longer gonna allow "my just-cos defence" etc threads, they can feck off to a cosplay forum/page or whatever, any association with them just puts airsoft at risk. Any crime in general that involves rifs, even if its a space age 3d printed jobby that has no real steel equivalent brings unwanted attention to the game. Worst case, some wannabe jihadi wants to martyr himself, & does it while carrying an airsoft rif, then the 💩 will really hit the fan, we'd be lucky to get away with licensed two-tones😭😱 Let's get the thread back on topic

    Hi everyone Hopefully someone can answer a question on the Cyma CM077C (stockless magpul handguard version - VFC style clone) before I drop some cash on one.... I quite fancy a stockless AK in my collection which the CM077C would fit nicely into, but I want to add a wood handguard and standard AK pistol grip and AK flash hider I have spare does anyone have a CM077C and would they be able to confirm if the wood handguard from a Cyma CM048 fit without issue?
