Austeyr Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Whilst trying to sell my SA80 accessories, a friend messaged me he saying that he had a G&G L85A2 which would just beep whenever he pulled the trigger and he had given up with it, sold it to me dirt cheap as boneyard - Turns out the electric blowback had blown up, ironically causing the L85 to jam (VERY realistic...) Offered it back to him at the same cost once I'd fixed it as it was a case of removing the blowback unit, he declined and said keep it so I did just that. Sadly none of my PTS E-Mags fit or feed it though. Going to have a look at sorting that out next 🤔 Colin Allen, ButcherBill, HZR13 and 1 other 4

Coming from only owning ICS & WE, this one may genuinely be the best replica internally. The simplicity of the split gearbox is beautiful and it had a 2 fps variation, 21 shots all averaging 302 - 304fps on a 0.25g BB. Obviously the blowback is terrible, so I would advise disabling it even if it does work. I’ll have it with me this weekend if you want to check it out 🙂 MSSNAFU 1

He sold it years ago when he gave up airsoft. I am going to AP this Sunday and plan to be at Splatoon on the 26th. Austeyr 1

Internally it's really nice but my god, the issues with just putting the two halves together is a bloody nightmare - On top of that, battery space is non existent. Not sure where I'm going to even put a battery with the DD rail. On my ICS's I used to fit the battery up top after removing the mock gas tube etc but the G&G requires a clamp around the barrel at the rear which pushes the battery up. If it wasn't for the price of the G&G, I think I'd of got an ICS again in hindsight

I think if I was to get one, I would stick with the polymer handguards. Austeyr 1
ButcherBill Posted October 9 Posted October 9 My battery still goes in the dd handguard but I had to remove the gas parts. Austeyr 1
Colin Allen Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I bought this rather nice CYMA MP5 SD6 from @Petford25 through the classifieds here; it will go through all my usual upgrades, including fitting an SEF lower. Austeyr, Cooperman26, ButcherBill and 1 other 3 1

tside Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Just picked up a bargain of an arcturus pp19 from the forums. Most definitely the fanciest replica I've had so far. HZR13, WildBoneZ, Skara and 1 other 3 1

Popular Post ButcherBill Posted October 15 Popular Post Posted October 15 (edited) Had a few deliveries today, here's a before & after... Cheap stock is a bit wobbly but waiting for one from our classifieds, LPVO is a temp fixture until a reasonably priced clone 'Optics suite L900A1' arrives on the market (planning on it going on my Ugr-i eventually). A similar reason for the Mawl-1, it'll be relaced by an LLM3 once a decent 3D printed or clone is available. After all that... the Magpul foregrip is pucka. strykerles Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Magpul style handguard for my arcturus pp-19. Also a proper style flashider but it came without the endcap so back it goes!! HZR13 and tside 1 1

ButcherBill Posted October 16 Posted October 16 A not as cheap Magpul stock arrived today courtesy of drgrzly, a bit darker than the cheap one but it matches the mag, grip & foregrip better, the cheaper one matches the receivers better tho. Barny and HZR13 2

My gas tube is not wanting to shift and I don't want to force it Had to do some filing to where the guard goes into the receiver but it went on fine after some fettling. I had to be a bit firm with the gas tube as its in quite tight but it will move given enough force
