Yup, MP5K and boltie or DMR is my combo of choice when I'm not LARPING. I bin the long gun off half the time and go ham with the SMG. There's no right or wrong way to play pretend soldiers.

What boonie is that? I've got a DPM boonie of my own but it seems way too short and I'd like one that rides down a little longer like yours

This one. (Although I scooped it listed on eBay for half that)

I find the biggest gripe with sniping is people not taking the hit. They don't hear a round of BBs flying at them and it's a single hit, a lot of the time people will ignore the hit and hide behind cover.

Remember, if you get hit by a sniper, we're still watching you and know you cheated.

I'm going to be controversial but that's why sometimes it's better to hit an area of the target that's more likely to feel the shot if you know what I mean, sorry 😔

Depending on how much padding is on the target, I usually give players the benefit of the doubt of them not feeling it but I will continue shooting until they call their hit or I will aim somewhere more likely to cause a reaction.

Mm. It is a bit of a quandary when you've only got one chance to make a hit, and you know there's a fair chance that a plate-carrier hit "won't be felt".

The morality of shot placement aside, it's a good argument for setting the tone for a site by being scrupulous about calling your own hits, loudly and cheerfully. "Nice shot!" is my go-to, and anything else is said under my breath. ;)

I do do that too, shout good shot and give them a thumbs up. I'm sure it encourages a good attitude in the game.
