Away Jez get the MC51's  ( G3 SBS & G3K ) fitted with a proper 7.62 cocking ube and handle. letting down an otherwise remarkable collection.  Do you still own all of those?

Was it easy to find that foregrip/bipod? I'd like to build a DMR just like that on the Umarex G3 base.

Very cool, but...

Any chance you could have all the mags facing all the same way in the triple mag pouch?

Haha my OCD trap was tripped! 😂

Not finished yet.

Needs the black pistol grip, black cocking lever, i also want to get a Navy lower to convert it. Scope mount will be modified to remove the rail, and attach the rings directly to it to lower the scope.

not so fond of the ribbed magazines. Tempted to mill them flat to just have the grooves.

image.thumb.jpeg.6a1058a3402319b0e5d5c305ee8ac953.jpegMy Umarex / WE GBBR. Shoots very well, has a loud crack and a decent recoil , capable of massivly over hopping .30's on the stock setup.. As with the rest of my WE GBBRs I've not had a single issue with it.

For me that’s how a G3 should look like, not all that other fancy modern stuff 😉

The G3 was my service rifle back in the Cold War and it looked just like that one. Now if the recoil could give you bruises then you are on to a proper replica!

You should get a long leather sling to go with it. Can’t remember how it attached to the top of the hand guard though.

Now with correct bipod, modified (lowered) scope mount and genuine HK navy lower.

Very nice ! GBB ? and if so, how tricky was it to fit the genuine lower ?

Yes, it's a VFC/Umarex GBB.

The lower was a direct fit. I just bought the empty lower and the VFC trigger pack dropped straight in. You do need a matching fire selector for the navy lower as it's longer than the one for stamped lowers. Only took a couple minutes to swap over.

Thanks. I'm tempted to do the same on my WE/Umarex one.

It's worth doing if you prefer the navy lower. Very easy to swap over.

I bought the parts from HK Parts in the US. They won't ship internationally though, so you need someone in the US to ship the parts on to you.
