Best small tracer unit.

I'd hazard a guess and say the little Acetech tracer unit, think it's called the Acetech Lighter S.

Depends really.

The XT301 and Lighter S need the Barrel thread adapter to fit onto rifle barrels - they're ideally meant for pistol barrel threads.

With the rifle thread extensions they aren't much smaller than a regular Acetech Lighter.

I had a Lighter (non-s) and I loved it. Nice and small and narrow diameter, but didn't look out of place on an M4 barrel.

Loved the performance and battery life.

When it comes to needing another tracer, I'll probably buy another.

I have the Lighter (Not the S)...

The lighter S was just too small for the look I was going for... plus this... See video.

I can safely say the Lighter never missed a beat. Awesome from start to finish and as the name suggests... very, very, very light. Almost imperceptible in the hand.

I bought the lighter s and have modded it to sit in my suppressor so I can keep the look of my normal suppressor, take it out turn it on and put it back in jobs done. Don't need to worry as it turns off after what 40 mins? that usually means I'm on lunch or having a break!

Urgh, nasty bait and switch.  However, there's now a Lighter S which does appear to have the native 14mm CCW thread.

yea the new version looks ok I was thinking about it. This video talks about the new adaptor vs the old bulky one.

I played at the bunker last night , and have decided a tracer is a must!

Just ordered a an Acetech 'Lighter' for my 416A5, as if I can get decent performance from a smaller p[package then why not?

I know its meant for pistols but I assume it's fine to use on a rifle?

@L3wisD  What's the battery life like? Would you say it's more then enough for an evening's worth of play?

@RMDavis - I got three full game days and two night games before the LEDs said it could do with a charge.

Very impressed.

That would've been semi-only days though, maybe 800 shots a day if we're being generous.

Thanks for the reply bud!

Was that being used on a rifle or a pistol?

Could be worse... Could have convinced him to spend £700 on a SWAT loadout.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of any high quality 0.28g tracer BB's?
