ButcherBill Posted 13 hours ago Share Posted 13 hours ago Had a hydra mount delivered today, the plan was to fit it to my URG-I with eotech type rds & a peq but TBH it just looks clumpy on such a slender rif, I like the smaller rds(dunno the make) so tried it but the sight was too high with both risers & impractical without the feyachi riser & still clumpy, so I've settled for a more minimalist look. I've had the offset irons for a while & never used them but they'll look better on an M4 so plan on ordering some modern tan offsets, the rif was a bit off balance with the irons & M300 on the same side so the light is at the 9'o'oclock instead which will also let me get away without buying a switch as the button will be close to my left thumb anyway.
