Someone was happy enough to buy it, adverts complete ahaha

Nope. It's marked as "withdrawn", probably didn't want to get the stick here.

He's still selling it elsewhere, as a friend sent me a screenshot of it an hour ago popping up a fresh in a hidden sales FB group.

Now down to £350. It's still just over double RRP with that "fully upgraded" moniker.  🤦‍♂️

As a bit of a DE M900 aficionado I'd love to know what's implied by "fully upgraded" as well.

Externally I see slapped on paint, a 3d printed stock extension, and grip tape applied to the stock pistol grip, so let's say a generous £40 on parts there, so where has the other £180 or so gone? To replace the weaker components in it, hop unit + bucking + nozzle + spring + motor, you could do all of that for £90 with parts from AK2M4.

No you're not, especially as they've listed it as"FuLlY UpGrAdEd"

... until it broke.

And the usual counter-productive laziness of requiring each interested party to ask for details, rather than just providing them once in the advert.

Must be that rare "Nuprol hardcase" pushing up the cost.

Nothing frustrates me more than people who say enquire for the parts list instead of putting it up.

Oh yeah, I'm asking it as a rhetorical question because most scenarios will have you falling short on the gap in the price of parts. A premium brushless motor will get you closer but still not there and the seller hasn't even opened up the base of the firing grip to have a peek inside.

I reckon he's dreaming because he's been duped by the previous seller, having paid way more than he should have as he should know by now the Double Eagle is a lot of airsoft gun for little money. Just to think he wanted 500 quid for it originally!

I asked for an exact list of parts and this is what I got back. "Hop up barrel gears bucking MOSFET trigger extended battery compartment" but refused to elaborate.

Absolute corker. £900 for a hpa'd WE AEG SCAR L. Only mentions the hop unit and barrel change, no mention of mags, tanks, line or anything. Tool alert!

I wonder if those HK slaps are the reason the front end broke

That looks very familiar... too familiar from the fact that both profiles list a broken MP5K with the same scuffs on the box and a SAS 12 in a velvet-lined display case.

Hah, saves me looking it up, I knew I'd seen that before.

Yes, the front ends have always been fragile, and the slap is a no-no.

Eh, it does look to be fairly described, and you can't get them new now.  You're looking at £135 for the much heavier Jing Gong, or £170 for the CYMA.

Still pretty optimistic for a CQB gun that can't be used at most CQB sites though.

It fires on full auto regardless of which firing mode it's on. Most CQB sites permit single-shot only.

The lack of a functioning safe mode on an AEG makes it a liability unless the battery is disconnected before entering the safe zone.

I'd forgotten about that guy. As his polished turd didn't sell for £70 then I can't help wondering why he thinks it will for more

Shame he forgot to mention this second time around

when the tech dismantled it to fit the micro switch, the bolt behind the magwell broke, theres enough of it for the ghn to work fine, but obviously needs mentioning,

It makes me wonder what else is he hiding?
