That site REALLY needs to add the ability for members to comment on threads, we'd have a field day lol?

I thought you can. I've deliberately not signed up as I know I'd just end up getting banned for calling muppets out on their ridiculous prices

Lol, shows how much attention I've paid, turns out I'd previously signed up there (& forgotten I'd done so), & you can comment on threads,  so did so last night under Colin Allen's comment  ?

Edit: just looked, he's dropped the price, kin dreamer still thinks it's worth £350 though?

Posted

Well he's reduced the prices yet again...but still well over their brand new price!

250 for the striker and 300 for the leaky shotgun ?

At this rate If we keep it up, how many posts do you think it'll take to get to a reasonable price?

£450 for a non working gun...

Guess it's time to sell my working one for £850, as they're "pretty rare"

Bloody hell!  I am going to flog the lad's one for £1500 while he is away.  He won't know; he never looks at the forum ;).

"I had a dream: I bought a two-tone airsoft gun. I played with it once and decided it wasn't for me but it is still worth as much as somebody paying for it brand new without two-tone."

Don't forget the £15 postage and the 370 fps making it unusable at any site

Nah!  A bit of pipe and some bent metal will make a convincing replacement.

I’ll take the internals out of mine and you can have it for a steal… £200! ?

Assuming the "A2" is a DD rail, and the acog is a decentish repro, and the drum mag is from tapp you're looking at roughly £950 retail. Whilst it's a high price, it's still not too bad.

Must be a different Scottish airsoft community page to the one I'm on, had a wee scroll & this isn't there.

"My weekend dream. I'm selling my gun for £850. It's got £400 of upgrades that I haven't bothered to specify and the base gun's not worth even close to £450 brand new at retail. I don't play any more since it was upgraded but I still think it's worth that much."

@Galvatron but it’s the super rare “preditor” edition of the CM16 range. That *must* double its value right?

still doesn’t get you to £850 second hand though ?

Brilliant!

£270 from Patrol Base + £400 of upgrades.

(£270+£400)*0.7 = £850 ?

I left a comment on it, pointing out the pricing; the ad has now disappeared.

It is indeed!  Still crazily overpriced.

Seems to have followed the upper side of your suggestion now.
