      You're a disgrace to airsoft

      M_P

Believe it or not Sam, I cant see that happening :)

  3. WE are happy to say that we are in the process of moving forward and will be stocking airsoft guns very soon!! please let us know if you want anything!
  4. No mate, my back is still recovering from GZ. I know what you mean re un-Russian. The muzzle cap needs to be made of steel and chained on, but right now I don't have anything that I can press into service. That spanner thingy is the best thing I had to hand, but again it could do with a chain - I might take the chain off my Soviet water/vodka canteen because it's a major pain in the arse - it actually makes it more difficult to get the cap on/off. But then there's the reason I plaited that bootlace - so it can't get a loop caught on anything. The chain I'm thinking of has figure of 8 links that are un-welded - what do you reckon to bath plug chain? I spose I could go t'other way and use some rough jute twine.
  5. Beware of this guy. I did a swap with him sent him 2 items and never got anything back. Next step police. https://www.facebook.com/ben.robinson.1671897?fref=ts

      CES_williamson

ah okay yeah i meant some kind of defense, yeah it is sad when someone does that, i did send the kid a Facebook message but he ignored it

    4. SpecialForce

      SpecialForce

Yea I've sent him plenty, and wonder if he really is that daft pulling something like this and thinking the repercussions wont affect him at all. I've got all the proof in my hands thats why I was so lax about it in the first place. I would advise anyone who does a swap to use several methods of communication and ideally fb connection so you wont, in the worst case, report it to the police with useless info and little evidence.

  6. This is very true i have not received anything. Funny that!!! But the guy has 1300+ positive feedback so it may well be a mistake.
  7. Yes I know with this site im taking money out of the UK airsoft industry but the 3 items I got are not sold in the UK only on EBAY but in the end they come from Hong Kong or China anyway if I did get them from EBAY. And I looked around 20 or 30 UK retailers to find them first and no joy. Pro’s They use a PayPal facility witch is very good that means your protected. They give you the cost of P&P as you add items to your shopping cart. They say it would take between 10 to 14 working days for delivery and I got mine in 7 days. They send your items as a gift so there is no import tax to pay if you as them to in the comments box. Con’s If anything is wrong with you item’s you have to pay postage back. They don’t get back to you when you contact us.
  8. If your counting is anything like your spelling, then no, it won't.
  9. I always recommend them yeah. The trigger is aluminium but the parts which take the wear are all steel and the hammer's got a chunky roller bearing which is a big plus. They don't look as internally realistic as a WA or (from what little I know) a WE but that's why they're more robust. Depends which parts you'd be after but nothing's likely to break very quickly and there seems to be plenty of mags about. I'm not sure how well it'd work for an SFW, depends on the barrel length to a large extent I'd imagine. The KWA receiver markings are fugly as hell so they'd need sorting; but getting/fitting the right handguard, stock, optic, gas block etc for the 119 wouldn't be any different to any other GBB system. I'm wouldn't buy anything WE personally, but some people love them, so obviously the base weapon is down to what the individuals requirements are. Ta. Mount is one of these: https://www.primaryarms.com/American-Defense-Aimpoint-T1-Mount-1-Piece-p/ad-t1-10.htm Far above the quality of any airsoft equivalents, but also much cheaper than the likes of LaRue and Daniel Defence mounts. No idea if any who'll ship to the UK stocks them I'm afraid.
  10. Totally didn't get lost or anything... Even with a map...
  11. No worries. These are not the droids you're looking for. To answer the question - Gunman Airsoft's site at Tuddenham. Arnies took it over for the weekend for the sort-of-annual 'Op Morning After' highly serious milsim weekend. Out of interest, when you say one mag securely do you mean with the lids tucked in? I only ask because I've only ever used the common/conventional design of 'double' STANAG pouch to hold 1 mag per cell anyway and not had a problem. That is probably why hardly anyone makes lidded pouches specifically to only hold 1 magazine; though obviously But anyway, yeah Eagle are certainly not a brand I've ever/would ever buy. These days they make a lot of stuff for the DoD and USSF and that's about it really as far as I know. If you do see anything sold by them at a retailer it'll be far too expensive for what it is, antiquated in design and sewn by some unfortunate individual in a sweatshop in an impoverished country somewhere because they stopped making everything in the states a while back. You may well have browsed these already, but for anyone wanting to see a really good cross-seciton of the wide variety of different pouches currently available I'd recommend spending some time on these 2 pages: http://www.optactical.com/cltopmapo.html http://www.skdtac.com/Tactical-Rifle-Mag-Pouches-s/466.htm Anyway, stuff I've bought. One shot for the guys who aren't too fond of Magpul PTS and one of various american widgets.
  12. Amen to that brutha! so many times there's been someone sat at the lights in their rediculous 'souped up' escorts, golfs and the like looking at me with the roof down and metal blazing from my speakers. usual hairdresser comments. a little bit of VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM soon puts a stop to that. needless to say at the next lights, their stupid tinted windows are rolled up and they aren't looking as smug and anything upto and including an M16 will fit in the boot. It's a squeeze to fit two peoples gear in the boot (especially with a spare wheel, even if it is a 'space saver' takes up half the sodding boot.) but is possible. What model you looking at? (anything other than a MK1 is for actual hairdressers, mind ) also, just came to this thread to say that: after finding my MK23 last weekend I fixed my TM XDM today. up £400 of pistols in a week with no cash outlay. not bad. not bad at all.
  13. Oh i've spent 2 new ones worth on my CYMA probably, but it's my ICS one that i'm sorting out at the mo - it died mid game. This is the first time i've done anything to it other than soldering a battery connector. I couldn't break it down before, because I mistakenly assumed that nobody would design an AEG so that the only way to get the barrel assembly off the receiver is by using a right angled posi screwdriver. The money spent on Sabine was worth it for the knowledge of how AEG's work.
  14. My completed Alfa Group FSB loadout Budget version: Note, Alfa do not usually wear Tigr, they usually wear Black or Multicam, but I wanted a definite Russian look. They do wear western gear, so Oakley's are not completely wrong. Other than the helmet, which is just a budget helmet, the loadout comes together when it's all on. All I'd need to add is a holster, and perhaps Black boots, but anything goes really.. gives it that "got your military gear from a jumble sale" look that some Russian operators have. I've taken the barrel/hop out, but it's been gradually getting higher, rather than a sudden increase.

      M_P

Maybe its letting out one of those slow squeaky farts

    4. Liam Porter

      Liam Porter

Maybe, but it needs to be lowered again... I've actually just thought of what might be happening, when they lowered the FPS, they did it on a game day by giving it an air leak, by putting a tiny hole in the nozzle. I have a feeling this may have become blocked with crap from the gearbox over time. Gonna take it apart and see if I can clean it out...

  16. I know, if it'd been a more serious game I would've accepted a 50/50 rule and died as well, but since it was just a doss about game at the end of the day and I have it on film that I shot first, I thought I could wing it and get away with it. The game was labelled as a "Zombie game" where the attackers were zombies and the defenders were survivors, so as the attackers took out the defenders, the defenders would swap sides. So given that I only had one life and he had infinite, I thought he'd give me the benefit of the doubt. When I talk to him at the end he seemed to accept it, and call it fair enough. He didn't have a paddy fit or anything and everyone on site who plays there regularly does know me, so I think I managed to get through it alright without upsetting anyone too much.
  17. Hmm...maybe I don't know! I painted my Palco pistols but not with a fancy camo or anything, and I painted my old DE M56C but it doesn't have it's pistol grip. Not sure if I'm going to paint my other guns any time soon either, so might miss out.
  18. I've got Bolle Countour protective glasses. No Anti-Fog spray used, you can breathe directly on them, and nothing. No fog or anything. Oh, and their £8
  19. Can anyone recommend a decent Bullpup style gun that is easily available in the UK (Damn APS UAR) , Cheap anything under £200 (may go over that depending) , Good parts quality

  20. I don't really have anything against hicaps, however they are usually seen as magazines newer players use, as most long time players have moved on to lower capacity magazines to challenge themselves. My point was, less ammo, you would need a better sight as you need to make your shots count. More ammo a cheap sight would do as you have the spare ammo to miss a few. I am aware how you got the sight and don't see a problem with you using it. If you paid for it however it would be over kill on your setup however. I just use the standard cheap dot sight on my g36 as I use hi caps and even a drum mag, I have no need for anything fancy. My 416 however I've been looking at getting a real sight for though as I only have 30 shots a magazine.
  21. Any chance you could stick the photos up? Where did you get the trigger from? How much was it in total with shipping? Did customs anally rape you with stupid charges or anything? If you have an overall good experience then I'd be interested in getting one, especially if it only takes a bit of fine dremmel work or filing to get it to fit.
  22. Make: WE Model: Glock 17 Gen 3 FPS: Circa 300 with .20s Materials: Metal slide, outer barrel and internal components, with a rigid, high quality plastic lower frame. Mags: Hold 25 shots and can happily accept propane and green gas. CO2 mags are also allegedly available, or soon will be, as for whether or not you'll have to upgrade certain components to avoid damaging the gun, only time will tell. Price and bought from: I managed to pick mine up for a very cheeky £85 haggle from 'UK Airsoft', but they usually sell them for £95 which is more or less the standard retail price, ZeroOne are currently selling them for £89.95 I believe, just as a point of reference - it's currently 2013 - so I'd very much say this is at the "budget" end of the pistol spectrum, it's a cheap pistol! So with that in mind, this is a absolute STEAL! Get one whilst they're hot! So I was recently asked about my Glock 17 by someone who was looking to buy one, so I thought I'd make my response public in case anyone else was wondering what I thought, or thinking of getting one. So starting with the most important point first: Gas efficiency is amazing. I've been nothing short of impressed with it since I got it, I've managed to get 70 shots out of one gas fill, per mag, on multiple occasions. So I can load up each mag almost 3 times before needing to re-gas it, so long as the ambient temperature is high and I don't blot through all the ammo in a matter of seconds. Which is fantastic if you think about it, 'cos I always top up my mags with gas if I've fired them during a game anyway, so you can pretty much spam the hell out of it as much as you want. Even if the temperature is low so the gas pressure drops there's enough gas in the mag to make up for any loss in pressure. I've skirmished it once on a colder day (sub 10°C) where it failed to unload and lock on the last shot with one of my 4 mags, but I think that was more down to me maintaining it poorly than anything else. I've not had any times where it's let me down since then, though I've only owned it around 2 months so far and it's never been used in true "Winter" conditions, so I'll have to keep updating this as the seasons change. Usually I wouldn't post my review for anything up unless it was exceptionally bad from the off, as with my sniper review, or if like this, someone asked me and I write them a review as a response. Just be sure to get some silicone spray with it and you're good to go, at the start and end of every day you want to empty the mags of gas (avoid just pressing the release valve and venting it all in one go as that'll freeze the seals and ruin them, do it in a lot of very short jets with a few second intervals between) then once they're empty, hold the gas valve down and squirt a load of silicone oil inside the top port where the gas comes out. As you do it, press the release valve in and out to be sure the seals are getting their fair share of it, then shake it about before gassing it back up for storage. I tend to leave them with around 3 seconds of gas in them. So the mags are great, not had a single one start leaking on me yet either, which is very unlike my luck with gas guns. The range and accuracy are utterly ridiculous, all stock I could hit human sized targets at 40m+ with .25s, which is just stupid for a pistol, it rapes the hell out of every TM I've ever seen, even the legendary 5-7 which I've done a side by side comparison with, I thought the 5-7 was utterly shite next to this. I had roughly 3 times the effective range. It even outshoots my mate's KWA P226, which were made with real steel training in mind, so I thought that would be far better. It's just a monumentally epic pistol. With a carbine kit fitted in order to get the most out of the accuracy by shouldering it and giving it a bit more point-ability, you could use it as a main weapon quite happily, especially in CQB. There are three drawbacks that I've encountered so far, the first one I found incredibly annoying; it doesn't fit into Blackhawk Serpa holsters, the slide is too broad for it to fit properly. I spent over £100 on a leg drop holster, only to find this out upon trying to get it in... You can make it fit by using certain drill bits on a dremmel tool and being very careful, I spent about 3 hours taking off plastic from the inside of the holster, as well as dipping it in boiling water and warping it to shape, so I managed to make it fit eventually, but I'd rather have avoided butchering a £100+ holster... The second thing, is that after about 2500 shots, you run the risk of the outer barrel breaking. My mum's boyfriend's son came around for a BBQ one evening and he just used it constantly for about 4 hours. He didn't mean it to be, but if a shop had done the same, they'd have called it a torture test. It lasted. Never gave up on him. Pistol with 4 mags, used solidly for around 4 hours. Must've blatted about 3000 shots through it. So that's testament to how good the pistol is, I'd wager most people wouldn't fire that much through their pistols in a year or more. Or would you? I certainly wouldn't. Once I took it back to a skirmish though, at the end of the day when we were all shooting the shit out of some people doing a charity run in stupid costumes, the barrel just exploded out of the gun. It snapped at the ejection port seam. To prevent it happening again, I bought a Guarder made, steel TM Glock 17 outer barrel as a replacement and at first it was an incredibly tight fit, I had to rack the slide a good 1000 or so times before it started moving more smoothly. The hop unit was a tight fit inside the ejection port cover section of the outer barrel as well. In fact, I didn't think it was going to fit together properly at first, but it does, you just have to angle it right to get it in and give it a good ram. The last issue, is that the under barrel rail, which one would assume to be 20mm is actually slightly wider than 20mm. I bought a cheap "Quick detach" tac-light on eBay which was only about £20 including postage, it's not a branded tac-light, it's just a generic 200lumen thing on a QD bracket, but it is designed specifically for Glocks. It didn't fit, QD became SD. I needed a third hand and a crowbar to get it off, even after gouging another 1mm or so out of the pistol's rail at either side. Now, this ill-accessory-fitment could be down to the light itself being cheap and crap, and not the pistol itself, but since it doesn't fit in Serpa holsters either, I think it probably is WE making it too wide across the board, not just the slide, but the whole thing, rail, frame, slide, everything. Take from that what you will, just be wary of it when buying under barrel attachments. As a very minor forth issue, the paint isn't spectacularly hard wearing, as you'll see in the photos below, there are areas where you can clearly see it coming off, and I've hardly owned it for the longest of times. For me this is more of a pro than a con because I like my guns to look naturally weathered through use, so I just thought I'd throw this in as an additional point. To summarise, it's the best pistol I've owned so far and for reference, I've had a KJW and a very old, worn and used TM Sig P226, and a KJW CO2 M1911 MEU. The MEU kicked like a mule but the mags were shite, and the others were just woefully unreliable, even in quite warm weather, I used to contemplate whether or not to draw them on people in CQB because I never knew if they'd actually work, or fail on me. So to avoid taking the risk, I'd often not even use any of them. They were all just pointless to own. This thing on the other hand, I've used as my main on numerous occasions in CQB just for the fun factor, running into the fort with no rig on and stuff and it's not like it hasn't seen heavy use, that stress test that it was unduly presented with, it dealt with like a boss. It's amazing, can't recommend it enough. So that pretty much sums up my opinions and experiences so far, I've also fitted it with a PDI 6.01mm tight bore barrel, and modded the hop using a piece of McDonalds straw because with the tightbore fitted the hop lost the ability to lift .25s for some reason, so if anyone has any similar issues after upgrading the barrel, or just want some more lift, lemme know and I'll detail the straw mod. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll get back to you, or I'll update the review to include them. Some piccy-tures I had saved on my harddrive, they were just quick Facebook snaps. Since I wasn't planning on doing a review just yet I've not got any artsy, angled shots, but I may upload more in the future if the review sees a lot of traffic.
  23. Ordered another M21 Les BDU,the one I have is too small for me now. Last set I've owned had exceptional quality. THis one I bought two sizes up,so I will customize it a bit. Didn't pay anything because reasons.
  24. Yeah, I've got one of those. I dunno about the Chinese ones but the Russian ones are a pain in the arse. The chain makes unscrewing the top awkward and the whole thing bounces on a belt like a big woman on a horse... plus, you can't take the bottle out of the pouch without undoing the strap that holds it onto a belt, so you may as well bring the whole thing up to your mouth, but then it's fiddly to get back on the belt. Can you see if your dad knows anything about this that could help me track one down, because my veshmeshok has only one external pocket and some crappy twine through a hem to tie it up, no eyelets or proper string like yours.
  25. Some quality ideas in there mate. Solid contribution. Your the sort of bloke I like that has good ideas but I then claim I thought of it myself and take the credit whilst the real genius stands by lol. That blue Peter holster link was brilliant! That chap has got real skills. A full length raging bull holster in that style would be perfect for me as the other ones I have looked at seem very boring even if they are indeed effective. Is that guy in this forum as well as I would like to contact him Also that skull half face mask would be a nice quick fix for me for now. Wish you would have said it earlier so I could have ordered it in time for Sundays skirmish. This is not acceptable pal. Next time I need your good idea at least 2 weeks before I need it so fix up lololol Did like the vest link you showed but my problem as mentioned before is massive overheating! Day to day I'm ok but once I'm involved in strenuous activities I overheat to the point I could actually collapse. If it were up to me I'd airsoft bare chest a la predator style but I'm pretty sure I would just look like I was at a gay rave up (not that there's anything wrong with a gay rave party... I don't mind gays but I hate raves gay or straight lololololollll). The only way I'm going to stay cool is with a dry fit top or mesh tee maybe. Cheers again bro... Awill be looking out for your next good idea (to steal lol) as you very much understand the load out concept I am trying to achieve
