I've been hit by them a few times even at about 150m away and they sting like a biatch, especially on tender areas like the head and neck when uncovered
I always take a mesh mask but mainly use it when hpa rifles are around
Weather can play a big part in where your bb's hit, use heavier ammo and adjust your rifle
If it curves left, move your rifle to the right and vice versa
If it drops down, raise the rifle, again vice versa
Leave it alone mate
I upgraded the piston, cylinder head and air nozzle on mine for better air seal (the piston teeth got worn right down) and put in a high speed motor but put a lower spring in to be inside site limits, I did this as the gear box was open anyway
Next to go in is a delay chip to pull the nozzle back a bit more and hold it there a bit longer
I'd get a few spares mate
Women always say that don't have enough shoes, bags blah blah blah
Blokes can never have enough tools, weapons, battery's etc
Even using a 1600 mah 8.4v NiMH, I still swap them out when its lunch time
I forgot to do this when my eldest son was using one of my rifles, the battery was hot because it couldn't supply the current needed for the motor and was just heating up
I haven't touched it for a month to let the cells settle and fingers crossed its not knackered ??
That makes sense now to me (duuuuh)
I'm the same, someone helps me immensely that in return I will always give loyalty to them
Just use your pocket or a pouch, that's what my sons do when they use my Beretta, granted I've put my old holster in the pouch aswell but that means nothing hanging off there leg & no more lost mags
Does it have to be airsoft specific ?? as I doubt you'll be paid for it cause you won't be on the books
Not sure if there's anything other than a paper round where you can get money
My dad used to match whatever I made each week but I had 3 paperounds, morning and afternoon 6 days a week
Is the £40 what you were charged to be added to ukara database ?? If so, that's not right as its free but if your site membership is £40 a year then in my opinion, something's wrong somewhere
Just wear civilian clothing with decent boots mate plus eye protection and gloves, you can build up your load out over time
Usually membership is free (but some sites do charge) and you just pay for the game day your attending, the letters before your 5 digit number is the site you are a member off
And yes your now a member and have a defence for IF for some reason the old bill pull you over and your kits on the back seat or in the boot
Like I said mate, they do make a difference, better current rate to the motor which means better rate of fire and trigger response, even better if using lipo
I did hook up a watt Meyer (little box that measures all sorts of battery rates and consumption) but can't remember the exact read outs
Coming from racing rc vehicles and boats, I can confirm deans make a big difference over Tamiya, much more contact area and better conductive current material
Tamiya is upto 20a current
Deans is upto 40a current
I think you'll find that's a negative, I was thinking the same thing until I measured everything, standard picatinny is 20mm the g36 mounting picatinny is 11mm
