I only have the Nijmegen badge for my brassard aside from my unit ones. I had to walk a bloody long way to get it. Also have medals for the Nijmegen marches, death march and Cosford. James you will need to sow them on otherwise they will look bad.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

It probably has the most safe safety going, its nigh on impossible to knock it out of position. As long as you remember your NSPs your fine. -
You need to install Game Ranger these days to play Vanilla Battlefront 2. Biggest problem is hardly anyone plays it :/

That's a better description then what I have read on it so far Cant quite visualize it but once I have the rifle apart it will make sense I think

Dora makes Big Bertha look like a pea shooter

This is the 'bestest' gun as it is actually a gun. Call an L85 a gun in front of someone in the military and you are in for a world of ear ache. (Valuable life lesson I learnt in cadets )

Sounds like an interesting mod. The first link is not loading up :/ From what I can gather reading the second one it is a case of cutting a grove into the selector to stop the trigger going back to the second stage to activate the full auto.

I'm looking at the possibility of modding one of the Airsoft replica AUG's into an F88. I already have an A1 which looks wise is identical to the original F88 Austeyer's but I would like to possibly be able to create one of the later versions modified by Thales (not the current pro-types mind.) The AUG A2s that are produced dont actually replicate any real steel rifles properly, however with a bit of work to the front receiver I cant see it being too difficult to turn into something like this: My main worry though is that the rail seems to be quite high on the A2 compared to this. What are your guys thoughts? Cheers Ben

If you read the OP and the rest of the posts you will see why he tried an M85.

Found something to hate more than the P90

The para version has a shorter barrel, thats it. From my experience with a normal length Marui AUG it is short enough to use happily in the woods or CQB. In fact someone is selling an A2 by Marui in the trade forums which is probably going to be much more reliable then an rebrand which is all these are despite its age. If you really want the replica Tasco sight then stick with an A1 but if you want a bit of variety that might be worth checking out. If you want to be able add loads of attachments then really you need to be looking at the A3s by JG and ASG.

There is plenty of plastic on an L85 unless you get a DD Rail for it. Admittedly the body is metal though. -

This is worse, it looks like a confused FAMAS. -
Lol. Me and a friend started building pretty much the same thing until the server closed down :/ never got to try it out in a proper fight .

I got accused of using an X-ray pack (I wasn't) on a factions server when I dug up someone's hidden trap and booby trapped it then re-disguised it all. He was not a happy bunny when I next came online at the same time as him

Seriously considering giving this Milsim business a go and trying this out. How easy is it to get to from the local station?
-
Does it have to be a shooter? My favourite first person game is Mount and Blade Warband but there's no guns involved unless you install an appropriate mod.

From what I have heard P90 High Cap just dont feed very well full stop. Mid caps might be a better option.

Thats good to know, I tend to top up everytime I reload the mag anyway so its not an issue there, Ill stick with normal mags then. I need to PM ed and see if he fancies fixing one of my mags anyway .
-
I did not realise that. I'm guessing there are no E-Mag shells available either. What's the best way of keeping the Rifle working ok in winter? I live in Kent so it does not tend to get that cold till it snows. Using Propane as well atm.
-
I'm looking at getting some P-Mags for the L85 to help with the winter weather and cut down on some weight, plus I need some more mags anyway. I've seen them on Mil-Specs http://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/magazines/gas-blowback-rifle-and-smg-magazines/we-rifle-and-smg-magazines/we-msk-p-magazine-black.html My main question is does anyone do a conversion to change the outer casing on the standard metal M4 mags as I already have 4? The only ones I've seen were the Tango Down ones by Angry Guns which look a bit naff. If it comes to it I would get them but I would prefer something closer to the P Magazine Mil specs have.

It does not need to be a discussion though. Simply a single lesson were you go through all the parties, lay out what they are meant to stand for. Also explain what the different votes are for, i.e General Election, by elections, European elections e.t.c. I doubt any changes from such as system would be seen soon but other the next generation or 2 it might actually have an impact on the parties and how they operate.
