  1. You need a defence to buy a RIF. Just be like every other under 18 year old and get a two tone.
  2. Hello all, So I am aware there are a few members on this forum who have undertaken upgrading this weapon system and have done a little research myself. This is my project gun I decided to take on and have listed parts I believe may be key to getting this weapon performing as it should. Parts are; King Arms Air Seal Chamber 9Ball Bucking CNC Chamber Conversion Kit EdGI 6.01mm Precision Tight Bore Inner Bull Barrel G&G Steel Cocking Piece G&G Upgraded Striker Spring Palmers HPA Rig Please feel free to correct me and/ or recommend different or cheaper alternatives. I will also gladly accept any advice with anything especially the barrel as I believe the M700 barrel is unique.
  3. Hm, would of expected them to use better materials after seeing how well built most of their guns are? Guy in my squad has had a G&P AimPoint since the beginning of time.
  4. They all do the same thing. I've used real holographic's in the military and cheap £30 ones aren't that different. Just made out of cheap metal and have a green sight rather than a night vision function. Both Chinese replicas and G&P replicas do the same basic red/ green dot function with a few brightness settings. Obviously G&P will use slightly better materials though. As you probably know different Holo sights take different batteries so really you want to ask the question 551, 552 or 553? It's all depending on what batteries are more/ easier available to you. I personally wouldn't buy a G&P Holo and rather buy a cheap Chinese one along with an EOTech x3 magnifier.
  5. When you log onto Facebook and see a friends status reading "I love big cock" you just know that's the most creative and most cunning account hack prank ever..

OPSEC! It's not a joke!, Immature? Yes, but still very funny?! Maybe I'm just immature??! Especially when my mate hacks his wife's fb and posts' "her" desires for his massive endowment!! lol

Too right Happy. It would defiantly be awkward if I follow him up on that and he has in fact turned homosexual haha.

  6. BlackHawk! do molle holsters however they tend to be on the pricey side.
  7. The Scar-L(ight) real steel variant fires the 5.56x45 NATO round whereas the Scar-H(eavy) fires the 7.62x51 round. No relevance at all in airsoft really asides from the Scar-H doesn't take your common STANAG (M16/ M4) magazine. In my opinion the Scar-H is visually more appealing and is good for a DMR loadout.
  8. By licence I meant a defence, site membership, UKARA, whatever you want to refer to as a right to own and be in possession of a RIF. It just doesn't seem right for someone under 18 to own and be running around with a black gun.
  9. Are you sure that's a good idea seeing as you don't have any licence?
  10. Just to help tidy it up a little.. "First impressions The first thing i noticed about this rifle when i picked it up is how god-damn heavy it is! The receiver and stock are metal whereas the whole forward assembly are metal." I believe you mean the receiver and stock are plastic? Other than that a very nice review. Can't stand that blue though so maybe once you get a UKARA black it up?
  11. Anytime mate. Alternately if you have any family in/ or have previously been in the armed forces you could talk to them? I gave most of my old gear to my brother and he's used it ever since.
  12. Example, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Airsoft-Tactical-Molle-Plate-Fighting-Load-Carrier-Vest-Detachable-Multi-pocket-/251278863714?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Sports_Clothing_LE&var=&hash=item3a81632d62 I got this for my son who is still a little too small for it but it does the job. Plenty of pouches for magazines and extra ammo. Even has velcro for patches etc. He uses camping mats cut up to fit and act as a ballistic plate. Gives it some rigidity. Strong yet cheap.
  13. Short answer, eBay, Amazon, and surplus shops. You can easily find a fairly cheap place carrier in a variety of patterns all over Amazon and eBay.
  14. You need to consider that an AK may look cool but is one of the least versatile weapon systems around. No rails unless you either buy a separate rail or railed handguard, or an AK with a rail system already on it. Iron sights are awful as well as sight picture as the rear sight is so close to the front sight. However! They do have a large magazine and a long barrel though.
  15. Very true, a 7.4v LiPo should be safe to use on 90% of electric airsoft guns. They're considerably smaller than a NiMh yet have more power and a larger discharge rate meaning you get a nicer trigger response and faster rate of fire. So go with what Samurai said and just get yourself a 7.4v LiPo or if your gun can handle it, an 11.1v.
  16. Depends if it's an NiMh (Nickel Hydrate) battery or a LiPo (Lithium Polymer). A 7.4v LiPo battery has the equivalent to a 9.6v NiMh. What gun is this battery pack for?
  17. Potentially a stupid question but would this gas, (http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/batteries-bbs-gas-chronographs-c5/gas-co2-c65/we-we-nuprol-3-0-gas-p3449) be suitable for a Tokyo Marui P226?

It's only for a sidearm though so is it really worth it?

Might as well buy one of those big barbeque red barrels. Would last awhile huh?

I not got gas - well CO2 but Monty & others have got green/propane so they can tell ya the exact adapters you will need and suggest size of bottle to start off with before you buy a great big tank of it

So that WE 3.0 would be too much for a plastic Tokyo Marui?

  18. Was actually really excited for the release of The Crew until watching closed beta gameplay. They made it seem in trailers and advertisements that every little aspect of your vehicle can be changed down to the bolts on your wheels. Yet you can only custom use bumpers, hoods, spoilers, and paint.

  19. Mine too haha. If you're around the north of Scotland anytime soon feel free to pop round and maybe we could shoot some zombies scenes? Kids would really like that.
  20. That's really good that you did that for charity as well. Sounds a lot of fun I might take you up on that. As far as authorities, I live way out in the countryside so it's not a so much of a big deal. Me and my son have been thinking about this zombie short for quite awhile now. Thanks for the tips and info!
  21. Anyone know anything about the Socom Gear R700 gas rifle? Can't find much on Google.

Interesting. Might be a project for me. Money is very limited so when I get some cash on payday I'll maybe start a M700 project?

The barrel I feel will be the hardest part. A 6.10mm though that's awful! Haha defiantly the first thing I'll try and change.

If you can get access to a machine shop then you're set, it's really easy to take the rifle apart and replace stuff.

That's where I'll struggle. I work in an office and live in the countryside so unless the office I work at is secretly MI5 with an underground lab with a metalwork room, I ain't getting no machines.

Then again I could always pop into my sons high school? They have a whole wood and metalwork department?

  22. Hello all, As some may know but many don't, I have a HUGE zombie obsession. I grew up watching Zombie Flesh Eaters, the original Day of the Dead, and the original Dawn of the Dead and more on VHS. I'm thinking about doing a zombie apocalypse short movie/ teaser I guess you could say. No action as I highly doubt I could get anyone to play a zombie and even if I could we couldn't do anything near to a decent looking zombie. So I was thinking I could maybe tie together some "zombie outbreak broadcasts from various films and get some scenes from somewhere along with some I've made myself? Any thoughts or suggestions on anything I should add, software I should use? Also, what kind of gear would a post apocalyptic survivor be wearing to you? Thanks!
  23. 38 years old and I'm still fussy about wearing the correct day of the week socks. My life has changed so much from when I was a child..

  24. G&P M16's are great. Retails for about £200 to £230 new. Guy in my squad uses one pretty much stock with the exception of a TBB. Comes standard with a G&P Hi-Torque motor I think. Great gun.
  25. Ah the LSW, fantastic weapon. Much appreciation for your time to post your life in the army! Also Josh, thank you sir.
