  1. I see. So hard wired is the only way to go by the sounds of it. Also, an airsoft tech is out of the question because I live in the north east of Scotland and there isn't a airsoft shop anywhere near me. Any ideas on who could do it?
  2. This is all very confusing. Any idea who could do all this for me and how I change my connectors to deans?
  3. Hello all, Thanks to a very nice member of this forum I have found a "plug and play" MOSFET which will be used in my newly aquired Tokyo Marui AKM. Link to the MOSFET below. (http://www.airsoftworld.net/burst-wizard-kk-plug-and-play-mosfet-king-kong-large-tamiya.html) So this has got me questioning things. I'm certainly no airsoft tech guy so I cannot "hard wire" it as it says you need to do to get full features. However, I'm not really too bothered about burst fire and that. I'm more concerned about what the plug and play will do and how can I adjust the settings of rate of fire, sensitivity, and spring advance. I'm ultimately trying to get best sensitivity from pulling the trigger and a higher rate of fire as well as helping the guns durability with lipo's etc... Could someone with some MOSFET/ electrical knowledge please elaborate this product and tell me some more? I assume it must be pretty common because of its simplistically. Also, can someone please explain the purpose of this in relation to the MOSFET? (http://www.airsoftworld.net/element-gold-plated-t-connect-plug.html) Thanks!
  4. Did you mean me? It was me asking for advice haha. Anyway you mentioned a PKM, any place you know sells them? Also I'd love some Russian gear so if you could recommend some that would be great.
  5. Unfortunately no, we believed there was civilians in the compound so we refused to use any explosive ordnance.
  6. Like most things, there was a lot of nice times with my platoon and many bad times. I remember once on a trip to another area one of our Mastiff's which is an armoured transport vehicle broke down and at the worst possible spot as there was a compound about half a mile to our southeast. We stated taking fire from a treeline just to the right of it. Typical. There was literally no cover or ditches so we all had to cram behind a MWMIK which is another armoured vehicle we used. There was a lieutenant whos identity I shall not reveal for his own privacy, who got hit in the thigh during this. He was a good guy though and actually took it pretty well after a argument with the medic about whether it hit his c*ck or not. Luckily though there were actually Americans in the and area and before we knew it about seven humvees and APC's came along the road which gave us enough time to tow the Mastiff away. Those Americans are crazy with their trigger fingers though. The parked up and all seven vehicles gunners started blasting this tree line. We occasionally ran into a lot of American troops over there and spend quite a bit of time with them. That was just one memory and although I explained it sounding like it lasted ten odd minutes it actually lasted around two and a half hours.
  7. Yeah same with my family, my brother is still in the army and my grandad on my mothers side was a tank commander in world war 2. My grandad on my fathers side was a prison officer at the same prison featured in the original Italian Job.
  8. Thank you, it was really though, asides from basic training being hell because all the Sargent's and higher ranks were utter cu*ts, 3 months in Afghanistan running and patrolling in 30 - 40°c with all your gear was a nightmare. I was your standard rifleman, nothing special but still got a fair amount of action. Sometimes not in the good way.
  9. I personally would love an ICS L85, they get good reviews but I can't find it in stock for a reasonable amount.
  10. I already have a CM16 I'm afraid and like I said above in the actual post, I don't want another M4, M16, or anything AR-15 based. Thank you for the post though.
  11. Could you link some websites that do it in stock please?
  12. Oh that sucks, parcel force and most other couriers tend to screw easy targets off. I had to pay £32 more than it said once.
  13. Could you link a possible website with these guns in stock? Thanks.
  14. Oh no I love AK's! That's what £110 is going towards. I bought an AK from a fellow member of this forum. I'm just looking for a nice gun to complete my arsenal. I have a R700, soon to have an AKM, and got an M4 so just looking for a final good gun to use as a backup or primary if it's good enough. By backup I mean if my primary fails I can use it instead rather than going around with a pistol. I was thinking of an ICS L86a2 LSW or a G&G RK74n as its pretty cool battery design despite being another AK replica.
  15. Hello all, I'm reaching out to you guys to ask for some advice on buying a good electric gun. I'm selling my old Audi S-Line wheels on Gumtree for £450 and and planning to spend it on an airsoft gun. Now, anything£110 or below will be going to a fellow member on this forum. So my budget is pretty much £340ish. Can you guys suggest a good gun to buy for that kind of money that has; - Good out of the box performance - Long inner barrel (aka not a PDW or carbine) - Electric obviously - Shoots quickly with good trigger response - Durable gearbox that needs minimal maintenance Like I mentioned above, I'm looking for a rifle as my local field is woodland and engagement distances are pretty far. I'm also looking for something other than a AR-15 style weapon as everyone and their mothers tend to own one (including me) and would like a little variety. I do not mind if it comes with or without a battery I have one at home. Also, it has to be a RiF/ UKARA gun. If you have a any advice on a good gun that you could recommend I'd be grateful to hear from you below. Thanks you!
