  1. I'd appreciate any feedback on A) my little brothers game footage at Bunker 31's "big game" on the 12th of April in Aberdeen and B) my editing skills. Trying to get a joint channel started for me and him. The name "TheMurphinator" was my brothers idea due to his ridiculous obsession with Arnold Schwarzenegger... Let me know!

  2. More footage from Bunker 31's big game on the 12th of April. Little brother crawling through the dirt as a medic as nobody else would. Feedback received from the last video so anymore is appreciated.

      Great footage.

      I've subbed!

    2. DEDSEC

      DEDSEC

Thank you both kindly! The yellow team comprised mostly of younger players whereas the opposite team seemed to have highly motivated older chaps so it was rather unfair. However everyone had a good time and the little brother got some great footage.

      Thanks again for the subscriptions!

  3. "The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees if you let it, nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you're hit, it is about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

I think it's combined with a Halo 5: Guardians commercial, aswell. Unfortunately makes the quote even more butchered.

      Sitting Duck

Hmmmm - is it not also the ability to OUT the opponent:

outmanoeuvre, outhink, outwit, outgun, flush 'em out etc......

yes chucking loads of advancing troops works at a cost, but often the wiser tactical side can win - well that is the theory part, putting it into practice is not so straight forward we know

  4. "Ultra Torque" or "Max Speed" motor?

    1. Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies

      Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies

Torque. Speed motors heat up and sh*t themselves from any bit of stress. With torque you can run a high speed gearset and get better ROF,trigger response and more efficiancy overall

    2. DEDSEC
    3. AK47frizzle

      AK47frizzle

max speed is when you want high rof with high ratio gears like 18:1 or 32:1. Torque motors are for high speed gears and powerful springs because normal stock motors aren't strong enough to pull them

  7. A good friend of mine is in a little bit of a crisis on whether to buy a G&G L85 or an ICS L85. Anyone own/ owned one that can shed some light on this matter?

6.03 is fine, you don't have to go PDI either. Any half decent tightbore will do - this is a support weapon we're talking about here not a 17lb, full auto sniper rifle! It's just that the original A&K barrel is a bit pants and a better hop rubber never hurt anyone.

      A 17lb full auto sniper sound's good. ;)

  9. After watching Shaving Ryan's Privates (Saving Private Ryan) for the eight hundredth time, I'm very temped to do a WW2 US soldier look. Now to see if there is an ICS M1 Garand going cheap anywhere...

would love a gas semi auto m1 garand

I believe there are M1 Garand kits for M14's. Combine that with a WE M14 and you have your GBB M1!

  11. Another quick gun question for a friend. ASG M60 or King Arms M8? Weight and size isn't an issue for him as he was in my platoon back in the army and so he is used to a weighty weapon.

Had one for a very small while, stupidly sold it. But then at £1000 new, it was a little bit expensive to own just as a wall piece.

  12. Any of you chaps at Bunker 31 in Aberdeen tomorrow?

  13. Anyone got a C79 optic replica or M145 as some tend to call them for sale/ swaps? Needing one for a accurate US M249 look.

  14. Anyone got a pile of functioning Mid-Cap (not Low-Cap) AR-15 compatible magazines (i.e P-Mags, STANAG mags) that they would sell for £15 inc shipping?

  15. Anyone got a Tokyo Marui Recoil shock M4/ M416/ RECCE/ Bolt M4 or KWA ERG they want to swap for a few guns? Not cheap cruddy either, I just really need an AR-15 recoil for an upcoming game.

Why would you call 6mm BBs .357 Magnum :|

    4. Undieing_Lust

Because it makes them go faster.

  18. Anyone know any UK websites that sell reasonably cheap stocks for a Remington M500 shotgun? Looking to spend under £30 if possible, quality isn't a huge factor.

      Airsoft_Mr B

On about the real thing or? If I'm not mistaken you have a section one firearms licence, or was that a mate?

    3. DEDSEC

      DEDSEC

A real one. I do own real steels. Probably not the best place to ask but it was just in case someone did skeet shooting or went to a gun club/ firing range.

Essentially in love with Remington shotties. I also have a Remington model 88.

Airsoft wise, I do have a ACM Model 500 gas shotgun however that already has an operational stock so there is no need to get one for it.

  19. Anyone know anything about the Socom Gear R700 gas rifle? Can't find much on Google.

      DEDSEC

Interesting. Might be a project for me. Money is very limited so when I get some cash on payday I'll maybe start a M700 project?

The barrel I feel will be the hardest part. A 6.10mm though that's awful! Haha defiantly the first thing I'll try and change.

    3. TacMaster

If you can get access to a machine shop then you're set, it's really easy to take the rifle apart and replace stuff.

    4. DEDSEC

      DEDSEC

That's where I'll struggle. I work in an office and live in the countryside so unless the office I work at is secretly MI5 with an underground lab with a metalwork room, I ain't getting no machines.

Then again I could always pop into my sons high school? They have a whole wood and metalwork department?

  20. Anyone know how to get small speckles of tan paint off black metal? May have slightlyyyy messed up a dusty camo and don't want to repaint in black or use detol and remove the original black..?

    1. AK47frizzle

      AK47frizzle

gently pry it off with a flathead screw driver or knife?

    2. Adam3088

      Adam3088

Don't think detol is corrosive enough to take off the original paint very easily, just use a small amount and go carefully.

More likely to damage the paintwork via chipping away with an implement.

  21. Anyone know where to get a tonne of patches for a BDU and vest super cheap? Trying to avoid eBay and Amazon so any sites would be appreciated.

Awesome thanks guys, just sent an email to them. However, in the mean time any good places to get pre-made patches? Got a lot of velcro space so need to fill it all up.

  22. Anyone want to buy/ trade for a Systema PTW? Looking for GBBR packages or a TM recoil package. Just want to create a quick post here before going to a thread.

  23. ARES Honey Badger.. worth getting?

Ares internals are known to be bad, but I've heard they're a bit better in this gun. Their plastic is sh*t though from what I have heard. Very cheap feel unlike good quality nylon fibre reinforced polymer stuff.

    3. DEDSEC

They seem quite pricey, just shy of £300. Not the kind of money I'd spend on some one night stand rifle. Thanks guys.

I hear what you're saying DEDSEC but in my experience it's definitely NOT just under 18s that are 1) crap and 2) annoying. Your mate saying "get a life mate" could easily be misinterpreted as insulting - which to a kid is always likely to end up in confrontation.

    3. Lozart

      Lozart

Also - talking sensibly to the marshals on site at the time is more likely to get a problem resolved. Leaving it until now and talking about it here will solve nothing (might make you feel better but that's about it).

    4. Lozart

      Lozart

Don't get me wrong, I agree with a lot of what you say but there is always two sides to these kind of experiences. I can well imagine some little kid bitching to his mates now about some grumpy old ex-squaddie that took the piss out of his Combat Machine...

  25. Does anyone have a Holographic sight that would swap/ trade for an Aimpoint Comp M2?
