  1. Was it (either the temperature of the room/outside or the gas or the mag) cold? Most common error is this. Try warming both the gas and mag (NOT ON A STOVE) by holding it under your armpit or something for 10-15 min, then try again. This happens to my G&G CM16 Raider a lot as well, and it's always been because it was cold.

  2. 10

    Yes

Bought a small 2 mag pistol pouch from his coyote tan sale, and got a free grenade pouch thrown in. Although the pouch wasbt the one I was looking for, who in their right mind would complain about freebies :)

  3. This is my G&G Short Raider yall have heard so much about. Hopefully won't be too hot for The Mall tomorrow... Got a Rogers SuperStoc, Safariland torch, Safariland Single Point Harness & Adapter, some generic green laser sight with a pressure pad, a B&T tracer unit/silencer, and a short DBoys M203 on this gun.

Also included is a pic of my gun bag with my primary, the Raider, as well as my secondaries; a WE P226 and G17. My backups there include two ACM guns, an MP40 (really going along to chronograph, won't use it) and a P90.

Well, after action report is in. Raider using 122a gas dropped to around 320, so it would have been fine for The Mall. However, for whatever the gas kept venting out after the first shot; might have been because it was quite cold in there today; also, my gas bottle was low and Luke didn't have any gas in stock, so moved onto my secondary, my ACM P90.

Ran into problem #2 with this one... Probably due to a grease buildup in the front of the gearbox, my P90 jumped 80 FPS, which is ridiculous. So I was awkwardly running around with an MP40 with one low cap mag for the day; got a few looks for it too :).

All in all, not bad once I found a gun I could use. Raider should work once I get more gas, and my MP40 held its own against guns with much more ammo, +1 to me possibly going to some WWII games someday...

  5. Alrighty then, since you are interested...

Here's a post a made a bit ago about the ProFit:

"Safariland is the best, and thats not only my opinion. To B's point, yes they are expensive, but that is due to all their ALS holsters being made for the military. However, Safariland's newest holster that was revealed at Shot 2015 is different. It doesnt use the standard ALS Sysem, but uses a trigger gaurd lock system. Also, one of its biggest selling points is that it is made to fit all but two modern handguns, SIG's new 320 and one other. I have been personally assured that it will fit all of my airsoft pistols that have moderatly accurate trigger gaurds. Also, as this is made for the public, it only will cost around $55, quite a bit less than other holsters of similar quality. Also, Bill Rogers himself said he would be willing to get into the Airsoft business, and as such we are keeping in touch. He is visiting in mid April, and is planning to bring over several of these 578s for me to use as demos, so I will be demoing them at The Mall around that time. Also, with enough support, I may be able to set up a Safariland and HolsterOps distributer here in the UK with him."

I really only play in Reading, so I do not know if you would be able to come and see them, as I would be showing them at The Mall. I will probably keep one for myself (of course) and sell the others off. So people could maybe pick one up then. I can not gaur tee anything, though, as I don't know how many Mr Rogers will bring with him...

  6. Remember, Safariland products won't fit WE G17s ATM. However, their new 578 Profit holster will. It's not out yet, but will be soon. I will have a few in April to demo with, if you could survive till then. The only reason I have a Safariland holster to fit mine is that Bill Rogers (inventor of the Kydex holster and inventor for Safariland) custom formed one for me and him

  7. For GBB pistols, use high power green / ultra gas. Unless it's hot outside, then powerful gas can damage the gun. ICS MP5... I want one :( Glad you are liking you games, most people are friendly and trusting of newbies, so glad to hear you are feeling welcome. Oh, and welcome to the forum.

    *Note:

Oh, and I have the same pistol :)

If you ever have any issues with it, send me a message; I've stripped mine more times than I have fired it (OK, maybe not...)

  8. I've been doing some T&E for a small spanish holster company that do airsoft Mk23 specific kydex rigs; Phoenix Tactical on facebook. The main business is actually D'Eagle and Mk23 holsters.

Don't think they're very cheap but they're custom hand made and work very nicely. Thought I'd mention it for the readers & lurkers out there, I know a lot of airsoft guns are rather poorly served in the holster department.

Yea, guns here are great; holsters are crap. Kydex holsters are great, thats what Safariland's are made of.

  9. Yea, had decided on the 144, as you know Lozart. And to the comment on the Grippod... First off, I like the real stuff, not the china knockoffs (although some of them are quite good). Second, anyne who has viewed some of my other posts knows I am close to Bill Rogers. He sends me stuff from time to time to test in the airsoft market (at least thats my excuse). So I basically pay import tax, and thats it. :) If I chose to sell that stuff, there is a large chance for profit, as all this cost me only around £60... But Ive kinda grown attached to it.

And yes, I am planning on eventually moving onto guns from companies like ICS, TM, and like brands, but first im worrying about getting into college, and possibly finding a job... Then ill focus on my "toys".

  10. Meh, Ive gotten so many extras for this gun... Got a bunch of stuff that cant work on anything else right now, and a bunch that could... Got a $79 Rogers Super-Stock Deluxe and a Dual Magazine Coupler for $25 that both only would fit M4s, a Rogers Single Point Harness + Adapter ($35 + $10), GripPod GPS-02 that costs $150, and a Safariland Rapid Light System that costs another $97... Also got a DBOYS M203 for £60, and a B&T silencer/tracer. In order to get enough from this CM16 to get a new M4 for these items, I would have to sell most of this stuff with it... Something I dont really want to do. Also, the silencer, SPH, and light. i also mount on my P90, so those wouldn't go. So to get a new, better M4, i would have to A, find a buyer for a two tone (will be painted in a few weeks when it warms up and I get my UKARA regestration) G&G CM 16 Raider (Short) with 4 mags, which shouldnt be too hard, AND THEN get quite a bit more cash in order to get a new, high end M4. Also, it would be good to note that I am an unemployed 18yo who gets his cash from babysitting rich people's kids, as well as Birthdays and Christmas, neither of which is gonna happen soon. So, its not out of the question, but would be difficult and time consuming. Anyway, I just wanted a faster solution that selling my current M4 and getting a new one, as I have the game I need this for on the 22nd. Sorry if that seemed a bit rant-y; I just dont think I could do that right now. Also, I won't be getting any high end guns until I am UKARA registered, which I can't do as of yet.

  11. Hmm... Well, you could set it to no hop and see how far it goes before it drops. Do your shots dip at all when zeroed in? If so, like at the longest range of your garden, then that's the length the hop adds bonus to. Basically, tick your hop up two or three hits, and zero it in at a longer range when you get the chance.
