Hello,
I have been moving up the ladder in the world of Airsoft, and I would like to look at getting a pair of headsets for me and my mate to use at my local CQB site, The Mall. However, U have absolutely no idea on what to get, what the costs would be like, or laws towards radios (I know there have been some issues with them). Any and all advice welcome.

You said Reading; one of my favourite sites is there; The Mall. It's an indoor CQB site, so a FPS of under 330 is needed, but the dark basements and close quarters allow for a version of airsoft I haven't found anywhere else. I plan to go to either their Thursday night game on the 19th of February or the 22 for their Sunday day game.

You can easil mount your GoPro onto a fast helmet by attaching one of the onetimestick mounts on the NVG mount area. Thats where i put mine, and have recorded 2 days of airsoft, and one of paintball. I holds it well enough; i wacked my pretty badly in a branch, and it stayed on the helmet. the lens e of the camera may be strong enough, but the case's lense definatly is... i was recording some paintball, and took one to the lense, didnt do anything; not ever change the angle it was mounted at. Very strong piece of equiptment. my grandfather sht ne with an air rifle as well to test it

Yeap, that should be all you need. The TM looks identical on the inside to the WE. One thing, there are important internal parts on that gas unit, make sure you transfer them over.

not sure if you are still having this problem, but if you are, heres something I posted in another tread with the same issue.
Hello, I am the owner of the previuos post about the G17. While fixing it, I, of course, took it apart many times. Once, when I did, I left the recoil spring out, causing the same problem as you have. Have you disassembled it at all?
If that spring is left out, the hammer that releases gas wont come back, and all the gas vents out. Could this be your problem?

Yea, WE, IMO, makes cheap primaries amd decent sidearms. I currently have 2 pistols, both WE; a Gen 4 G17 and a P226, same as you. I have taken apart the P226 a couple of times, so I could maybe help you with that. I had the same problem with my G17 when I first got it (except you knew what the problem was...). Some airsoft sites have them, mine did... If you are a regular at any sites, email them and ask to see if they have or can get a spare. Other than that, look around. There is bound to be something out there that would work. Ive put around 1000 rounds through my P226, and it works fine. It probably broke because you filled a mag with too many bbs and rammed it up into the gun, i think thats what. i must have done to my G17.

Hello again, and thanks to tall for all the helpful suggestions. The hop was fine, and the "cup" is supposedto be there. The issue was that the feeding nozzle was broken. So got a new one of those and it all works great. If anyone in the future sees this post because they are having the same problem, take note. The nozzle, once removed, has parts insider of it that will need to be transferred to the new part. Failure to do so will lead to all the gas venting out on the first pull of the trigger.

Ok, couple of things. First of all, the hop up chamber is fine, if I manually insert a pellet, it works fine, but only for that shot. As to Mack, if there shouldn't be a cup there, I'll look into somehow fixing that... I have a parts breakdown at home I'll look at in a bit and report back.

Ok, two new photos up. The fifth pic shows a bb in both the barrel and the "cup", and the sixth shows a bb stuck in the cup immediately after cycling the slide. That is where they jam. To the person asking about the hop; I'm not positive what the hop is, but I can push a bb into ( but not through) the rubber bit inside the inner barrel easily (the bb in the barrel in te first pic is in the rubber bit, not sure if that is what you were talking about).

Wow, so many replies so quickly. Pics are now up. First pic is the area, second shows the area bbs get stuck in, call it the "cup". Third is the bb stuck in the "cup" and fourth is the slide removed showing how the mag lines up with the barrel and "cup".
*Note. The slide is just the normal WE G17 slide; Mr Rogers just made a new front sight and attached it (the Tridium sight) and painted it blue. He also added a magazine feeder on the bottom and a grip force adapeter on the back of the grip; those last two are purely external. Furthermore, nothing done to the front sight would impact the feeding.

I recently got a WE G17 from the States. The reason for this is that I was getting a custom slide with a Tiridium sight for it made by a guy named Bill Rogers, and it was easier for him to get one there instead of me shipping it to him and then him shipping it back. However, I am having feeding problems with it. When the slide functions, it pulls the pellet from the mag like it's supposed to, but the Bb gets stuck in between the mag and the barrel. It is a small thing that makes the gun basically useless, and I would hate to not get to use a gun that I have gotten so much for...
I will post pics later; I'm on a train now.
