deffo higher end motor - might have put in TT box too but am sure they tweaked it a bit on first batch to make sure she would sell well they was talking about an even high ROF model coming out end of year but if G&G have started to pull this lower rate crap on subsequent batches then I think I won't be tempted to get another (may as well tweak my one a bit - once i get the hang of it a bit more)

you also put a crane stock on there probably coz like me you got fed up messing with the friggin thin batteries in tube Got a cheapo stubby fixed one on both FH's saves all that pi$$balling about and most time stubby is fine for quick fire shots on waiting for longer shot and waiting for the enemy to walk into line of sight yeah could do with a click more adjustable stock but hey ho can't win them all for about £140 she still is good value with other bits on there LWA want £33 for the FH amplifier - no way would I pay for migrane and the VS02 stock on the FH is crazy money £50+ pah - cheapo knock off one for about £12:50 - wtf is gonna know difference ??? but yeah shoved a £15 aprox black stubby on there which has loads of room for battery of almost any size/shape and you could easily chuck in mosfet too I think cqb is what she was made for but she ain't bad out in the woods either last game of day marshal tells everyone to load up for...... this is when the box mag comes out and all hell breaks loose very loud and very heavy fire is unleashed upon enemy team

Think the plain FH has a more standard motor in deffo G27 is faster - just compared side by side aprox 16 vs 20 as I said not a massive amount that you notice straight away but when compared side by side - hang on a sec that don't seem as quick yeah you got mosfet and possible better wiring - hitting at guess 22-ish similar to a CM18 with high speed motor in we have possible option is to replace FH motor with high torque/speed OR - maybe swap motor's in the 2 guns and perhaps the ROF should balance out at say 18-ish but this is mega guess work and tbh if other is running sweet then leave it as is - think leave massada is a good idea tbh If it ain't broke - don't try to fix it (something I need to take on-board more) reckon get a SHS / ZCI / Big Dragon motor and that should claw back some and leave you with a FH to be proud of but yeah - deffo the plain FH's seem to have a lower ROF than first batches with G27 grip soz - but it is a pi$$er but then FireHawk's are hard to find and a replacement may be a while and is such a dinky gun that everybody talks about she comes out of bag... noticed you changed the loud mouthed flash hider - yeah can give the owner a headache (let alone your team mates especially in buildings - f**k she can be a loud bitch inside) I share you slightly lower ROF on my one - (son nicked my first rapid one I got) but still a nice gun for money - shame it may need a tweak now that G&G have toned her down (well that was my impression of them and your FH seems to follow this atm but still guesswork)

what exact ROF are you referring to - is the Firehawk really that slow are we talking less than 15rps & other gun is 20rps ??? really silly question but what pistol grip is fitted to your FH ??? apart from a couple of variants with battery/without and US or EU market there seems to be 2 different grips fitted to Firehawks NOW I may be adding 2 + 2 and getting 5 but here is what i mean: G27 type of grip: http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/g-g-g-g-fire-hawk-p3375 plain texture grip: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=9475 I think the first batch had the G27 type and these do seem a bit quicker than the plain grip ones... Now they may have made some revisions - due to stock, reliability, cost or whatever reason They "seem" to mainly ship with plain grip - well this summer they seemed to appear as opposed to G27's How or what am I basing this $hit on - I own both types and imho the plain grip FH has lower ROF - not massive but deffo doesn't seem as quick - both still on Small Tamiya btw but the G27 is deffo a bit quicker By that I am saying aprox 20rps Vs say 15.5ish on say a 9.6v or 9.9v Life but haven't chrono'd these for a while myself If my hunch or complete b0ll0cks theory is correct, then I may think they may have used nigh the exact same stuff but perhaps the first batches might have used a more beefy motor in the small run supply back at Easter I don't think they would of used a higher speed ratio as they probably would grab same CM16 g/box to chuck in but maybe they used a beefy motor either to give it a good review, or after some of their mosfet AEG's failed G&G might have thought - whoa best tone it down a bit (no mosfet in FH but just using the mosfet problem as example) Now all this may be me reading too much into this but i did notice a difference in the 2 versions then again you never get 2 of anything the exact same either so put it down to one is sweet & other not bad could be a pi$$ poor build/shimming in one or perhaps not exact same build/motor in the other if your FH has the G27 grip then that screws my theory/difference in two FH's think Giant Kiwi's FH had the G27 grip - but he also had deans connectors on there too I think but first lot of reviews said she fired pretty damn quick indeed but we both also have a slightly slower Firehawk it seems none of this crap really helps but thought I would type up some crap findings/theory I have about them

Gunfire got their a$$ in gear this time - box of bits turned up today instead of Thursday - wow a few SHS red M4 nozzles - both vers norm & long (couldn't decide so bought some of each) couple of AR with springs - actually its the bloomin' springs I lose - damn it a cheapy 6mm type ver2 shell - yup but I kinda gave up with one I was messing with another box on way with hydration pouch (free with points) SVD hop-up (another freebie from points) SVD cocking handle coz UK sniper was out of stock (and GF was a tad cheaper so grabbed one) damn it - something else - well that may arrive Friday got a shed-load of tabs open hovering to buy more crap i don't need and really pi$$ missus off but trying to ease up a bit and sort out the crap i already have......

probably just over 7 days my first order was over 2.5 weeks to be delivered but was when they had a 20% sale on so suspect they got hammered normally 7 to 10 days max usually i have found a little slower than TaiwanGun but bigger range and still free ship on 60-70Euro GLS is about the same time shipping - or maybe 1 day extra than UPS maybe they check out stuff like UKARA when you do first order ? Or I also think they wait a little while to ensure no chargeback on new paypal customers (yeah I think I email'd them say wtf is my order and got "very busy & paypal verification" response once you have ordered before all my subsequent orders went through a bit quicker yeah - think it ain't uncommon for first order on new account to take a bit longer but they alright - usually 7 days but might be longer for 1st order if you ordered a JG G36 - they supposed to just a tad over 350 and have a screw adjustment at back to tweak fps from 360 to 400 - no doubt this is adjusting the spring guide not sure about this how good or if peeps can chrono'd @ 340 and ramp it up a bit on field but for fair players it could be good if gun starts to drop a bit in fps & tweak it back up before needing to service g/box etc..........

TW do ship stuff very quickly and it could of been packed up for UPS in good faith on Sat but not booked a sat collection as no doubt extra charge if you wanna wait then go to GunFire - very often it will be longer than TW if you like liars then JustBBGuns can't be beat if you like Bull$hit then ebairsoft is great for stuff in stock but after you pay you find a month later "processing" still and spend a few days chasing for refund - choose something else they suggest (even though they probably don't have your second choice in stock either) I had problems with quite a few retailers - but then I have gone nutz recently so serves me right suffice to say you will always get the odd hicup or bad/less than perfect service usually it is some other poor sod but if we keep buying these toys then chances are it will come around to all of us in the end - hopefully it will arrive say Wed/Thursday and plenty of time to test/change spring

cheers for replies looks like bushings and maybe a SHS 18:1 set (not gonna get Siegetek 20:1 etc.... wow they not cheap) that 32:1 set also req half tooth cylinder - screw that is me first oomphy dmr build could use a mix of bearings/bushings - especially if single shot dmr - hardly gonna go mental on ammo but hopefully just want it just work for a good while so stick with bushings as I said 18:1 - recently SHS 18:1 have gone from 10 to 9 teeth on bevel gear so newer 18:1's are slightly higher ratio some say this change is good & others not as good/reliable as 10 tooth sets but will be using a high torque motor so think the SHS 18:1 or 19:1 whatever, will still be best all round set fanx 1,000,000 chaps

cheers - I will keep the bushings that are in there already then 32:1 gearset don't like 2 x ver 2 g/box's as it hits the the trigger switch pin (bit behind switch that often breaks where switch jumps back to on semi - soz for non-techy name) this 32:1 set might fit in another g/box type but deffo not in a ver 2 box easily unless ACSU fitted (from from my first impressions coz that sector gear is massive) my 20:1 might be ok but was a cheap stock gearset so may look for a quality 22:1 perhaps and 200:100 don't look too great either failing that might have to settle for a 18:1 maybe

messing about with a possible M4 type DMR build - aprox 400-425fps say (130 spring or 140 & short stroke it 3 teeth) Generally peeps say bushings for higher fps - but think I saw somewhere about a bushing/bearing/bushing mixture g/box has 8mm holes so unsure to fit all bushing - most likely or use a couple of SHS 8mm I have maybe for spur gear in middle ? (others will be under more stress perhaps though I suppose all will be) Have a 32:1 gear set btw & what I think is about a 20:1-ish if I worked it out right is there something in between say a 24/26:1 that might be better or go with 32:1 any input/ideas - experiences what worked/failed ? cheers in advance for any replies but like to get this running ok with few attempts and if ok would look to do same on an AK mofo sometime if this ver2 g/box is ok

sounds good to me - most good budget guns are 15ish out of box a small tweak to get a bit near 20 is fine for me too but this starting figure depends on battery you started to use in first place super duper rof & 349.9999fps is a must have at any cost for some then think they need to concentrate on trying to improve their own skill & accuracy first before demanding their gun is maxed out to limits (all the above means jack if hop is crap & all over place but we talking rof post) reckon you got the right approach and sure you should a little improvement plus your higher torque motor should run a little cooler under stress or letting rip

yup I am inclined to agree with slow steady steps 120 motor or 9.9v life - go too nutz and - well you know the score most peeps think between 15 to 20 is enough for ROF but others may want 25-30 - jeez c'mon guys thought I was trigger happy at times could try both more volts n slight more torque motor life's tend to output what they are - others nmah & lipo's often will be pushing about 12-15% above their stated value when just come off charge (11.1v lipo = 12.5V+ or 7.4v lipo = 8.4v+ after charging) we tend to run 8.4 or 9.6v old skool or 9.9v life's (got 11.1v's but choose not use 'em)

ahhhh - well you could get say 9.9v life battery - that should give you a bit more kick what battery are you using atm ??? high torque would need decent battery for it to work effectively too plus there is a slight problem with very high torque/speed motors on 90/100 springs think if going too nutz people have had to drop in 120 & short stroke if problems occur upgrades like many things - you can find after putting in a bigger engine in car brakes, suspension etc need upgrading too but a motor with more oooommmppphhhhh could at least handle higher volts a bit more (question is can g/box take it if you really go nutz) Again finally like most upgrades - where do start & where do you stop ??? but think a motor wouldn't be very unwise & G&G should be able to take a little more bashing avoid a higher speed one or a mental m160 mofo high torque see what you get on 9.6v or 9.9v life before you think of going down 11.1v lipo route the clever techy's can get great rof with 7.4 lipo's - all I get atm is g/box frustration btw when I say avoid a high speed - one of our G&G's need a bit of attention after installing a SHS high speed on it - nothing major but ironic first skirmish with new hi speed and she didn't seem to like it - poor lass (Boy did she fire like F**k though)

yup is where I have entered my UKARA & my local site reckon about half the time they put the info on outside of UPS box (might have been all the time but not always noticed it) on the plus side - you still got a decent starter AK for a good price and if you look at all the UK sites think we have all had problems too LWA sold my FireHawk I paid for but I have done ok with AirsofWorld & Zero One but others have not been so lucky - so I guess nobody is perfect

dat iz a pi$$er I mean buy gun, buy spring & £15 extra to fit & ship would be well worth it doubt if they would of just cut old spring especially if ya bought a m100 I know for "some" guns, think I have seen on a couple of spring snipers they give ya option of say 330 or 450/500 spring maybe a SVD as they easy to change in a few mins (often you may get both springs especially as SVD use normal AEG springs) but yeah bit of a pi$$er being given the impression they can fit it paying for extra spring & delivery to be told it is being/been shipped already Most likely that will be hitting about 375-ish on stock spring - I gotta drop mine down but I am having enough " fun " with M4 / ver 2 g/boxes atm to even look at my AK47

look good to me, how site friendly are there coz some sites can be really really funny (think they want you to buy from their shop than bring ya own) only thing I can see at first glance if the pipe clip might dig in ya or catch but dunno if anything else would be as secure when running around unless you mess around with pockets/flaps/velcro but wouldn't be as good as them clips think I've seen some of your posts on these - very clever stuff forgive my ignorance - but you got any pics/video of these in action ??? coz not sure what they like in use - bit of fizz/pop or boom christ wtf was that ?

I'm having a similar nightmare too...... got a g/box with quick change spring - built it with a short stroke 2 teeth removed so in effect roughly looking at what many say: aprox 15fps per tooth ya lose or 45mm travel reduced to 39mm travel (2 x 3mm teeth) = think that is about 87% less travel cylinder has double o ring head - piston head is also double o ring, SHS o ring sealed nozzle (this mofo has some good seals etc...) had nothing but nightmare after nightmare - switch/trigger problems still AR is not working correctly but just recently got it firing of a sort anyway had I think a 110 in there and got 330fps - sounds about right 360 down to 330 on short stroke popped a 100 in there expecting 300-ish.... 360 & 359 - WTF ???? is my original spring really a m90 or most likely that 100 SHS out of box is a friggin 120 or something (don't think I have used/mixed up) either that or I am bloody effecient at building boxes - nah deffo not but now I am wondering wtf is going on thought I would do this for a laugh to confirm what to expect and if it all works out to what I have read Eventually have a rough idea of what to expect with what springs & short stroke 2 or 3 teeth etc..... 5 mins ago it seemed to kinda work out to what I was expecting but now this m100 or m120 has got me wtf??? so now gotta look at tidying up the box/setup and then try some other springs ffs to see if that 100 is a 120 thought I would be this as a tester rig and throw something together quick - test some springs out get some figures to work with and finally once box was running sweet use the QC box for say a DMR build but had nothing but grief after grief after grief getting her going and now this wrong labelled spring prob too jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez - keep calm n all that
