  1. I'm considering a larp safe throwing hatchet to pull off some call of duty style tomahawk kills. For £18, it's tempting
  2. My mate has one, it be huge! Good call though
  3. The more I see of it, the more I'm inclined to get it just because of the apparent "scale" of the worlds on show. To play it though I'd need a next gen console which is bit of a deal breaker for me at this time (no monies ) I'm more looking forward to Dragon Age: Inquisition though, since I absolutely loved origins and awakenings. The second game... let's just call it "fan fiction" and forget it happened.
  4. Not sure but is this the mag? https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/Spare-magazine-for-HA-118-bb-gun-Pistol.html There's a spring and gas version of this pistol. I'm not sure which this mag is for but I'd think it is most likely the spring.
  5. The glock is the more common platform but most of the mags available for it are cyma ones - pretty poor quality as a whole (hence the £10 price tag). I you go for the glock then use TM mags - they actually feed and hold the number of rounds they state they do. Personally I would recommend the cyma .030 glock as it a clone of the TM one and is significantly cheaper yet just as durable. Sure the externals are nicer and the internals are better quality on the TM but for the price the cyma is brilliant. However I have to say when I had an aep I had more problems with the gearbox than I've ever had with any of my gas pistols - this is why I don't use one anymore.
  6. Will a G36 SL8 stock fit onto a regular G36K/C body or does it need some adjustment? Many thanks in advance

no the SL8 conversion is a whole body kit and various manufacturers are often a few mm different in some dimensions, so for eg if u are wanting to convert an SRC G36 into an SL8 u should expect to have to dremmel

if u put an Ares body, say, on it

  7. If it's fogging up around your house then you'll suffer at the towers. The layout of building just traps in heat, but then again it was a mild day the last time I was there so you might be okay in the colder weather Main advice for that site is to travel as light as possible - I did a lot better with a pistol than I did with a rifle as it's a very close quarter site. Also gets hold of some pyro - you will be very popular with your team as there are a ton of bottleneck areas. With your mesh guard I had the same issue, so I took one of the spare pads that came with my helmet and stuck it onto the mesh mask where my chin sits with super glue - much more comfortable even if it's a bit damp by the end of the day haha
  8. I've heard everything from: "that's a bit sad isn't it?" all the way up to "oh, so it's like paintball?"
  9. I think Simon has just set the benchmark with regards to this thread Anyway, from Frontoweic (my favourite soviet camo supplier): Tarzan M22 (olive drab) vest. Mazkalat KZM "Oak" (Partizan) complete camo set. 383,00 PLN = £74.66 ~ including international shipping.
  10. Playing in the embassy when it was open, four of us stormed into the stateroom area and took out all but one of the enemy team who had hidden himself in a cupboard. We all backed out of the room but kept watch on it and sure enough he peaked out to see if we were there. At this point my mate lobbed a lit pyro at him which landed behind the door. It went off, he crapped himself and smacked his head on the top of the cupboard - breaking his apparently new Emerson clone helmet. We were laughing so much that we forgot we were trying to be quick and quiet, at which point it seemed the entire enemy team turned up and cut us down. He was a good sport about it which was lucky since a lot of people wouldn't have been in the same situation. Apparently from then on he's taken to wearing ear plugs. Also saw a bloke get a dildo kill instead of a knife on my mate Scott who is still ribbed about it to this day haha
  11. As in I purchased them? -Little bit confused now haha
  12. You're a cruel man... I'm going to check my size and get a pair Edit: And bought.
  13. Though I love shooting them, the mag prices of GBBRs puts me off. £40 for a 30-40 round mag could pay for a number of AEG mags. That said I probably will end up buying a GBBR at some point.
  14. Polarstar as previously stated. Only problem is some sites ban them as the fps is adjustable :/ I'm with Monkey though - no way would I spend a grand on a single rifle.
  15. There was one of those going on Facebook, was very tempted to buy it but got enough guns (blasphemy I know)
  16. Krylon Flat Olive Drab spray paint ASG M90 Ultimate Spring £23 from Patrolbase
  17. Could have sworn at one time you could get vz58 body kits, but not around anymore. I'm guessing it was the company you mentioned though because they're not around anymore :/
  18. Pistols now? Well okay.... Taurus Raging Bull Tokarev TT-33 CZ Skorpion Vz.61 And another marmite gun... H&K MK23 SOCOM
  19. I'm 5 ft 5 and have no trouble handling a 102cm TM mk96 sniper rifle, so for a light m4 like that you should be fine unless you have arms like breadsticks.
  20. Yet another mag for my ASG MK23 Socom @ £26.99 with free postage. I swear this thing is turning into my primary weapon since I use it so much. Since the fixed hop is great for .3g BBs, I may look at putting in a new inner barrel, adding a scope rail and turning it into a Designated Marksman Pistol like I saw someone do on a different forum haha
  21. Flashlights and dot sights I use a lot for the reasons people have already mentioned. Foregrips are also very useful depending on personal preference, but a lot of people use the magazine as one instead.
  22. I've used UKBBG/Rydair before multiple times wih positive results. They're actually one of the few sites with BB in their name that I'd buy from - no issues when returning a broken rifle, sent the replacement via 24 hour courier and even threw in some free stuff as compensation.
  23. Take a drink and some food - you will get hungry and thirsty. If in doubt, call yourself out - just because you didn't see where the shot came from doesn't mean someone else hasn't got you in their sights. If you're caught in a bottleneck grow some balls and charge in - worse that will happen is you'll get shot (repeatedly) but if that concerns you then don't play airsoft. One of my pet peeves in game is people not pushing forward (especially in CQB). Trash talking is never okay. If you do this you will be lit up the next time they see you. A bit of banter is fine but too much just ruins the fun. Don't spam the trigger, especially at close range. CQB sites usually are semi auto only as being lit up at close range isn't fun. It only takes one shot to kill someone - three round bursts are what most people do to be sure of a kill. Don't be afraid to talk to people or recommend tactics. Give people a chance to call themselves out when hit. Don't shout "call your hits!" - annoys most people and the marshals take a dim view on it at most sites. Chances are you'll get penalised if you shout it at other people. If you think someone is cheating then tell a marshal. Most other stuff would mostly be common sense I'd hope - e.g. mags out in safe zone, always wear eye pro in game areas, etcetera!
