  1. It has happened to me before when I first attempted shimming and I shimmed it way too tight so that the gears only brought the piston part way back before jamming.
  2. it still is the maze but a bit more unpredictable. They have been adding more bits to the middle and making the walls higher as well as filling in the gaps in the walls so you can't see anyone else.
  3. Is the piston still locked back? If so try disabling the anti reversal latch through the motor goes through. If that doesnt work, then be very careful opening the box as it will be under loads of tension due to a compressed spring
  4. Welcome to the forums. Yet another billericay player here. Quite a bit has changed over 2014 id say, the cqb area mainly but also smaller things that you barely notice
  5. Yeah, I'd love a real sword at some point maybe Thanks for that chock and everyone else, definitely a lot of good info about them if I do swap my l96 for one, but I guess I'll have to skirmish it first!
  6. That is what i have heard too and I have been looking at a better barrel, upgrade hop up unit and the cocking handle. I will be downgrading the spring so the sears aren't really needed. However, i have also heard some people say that it works well with no upgrades or just an upgraded rubber.
  7. After just not getting along with my L96 I have decided instead, I want an SVD but the question is, what one? As far as i'm aware the two main ones are the A&K and the King arms. is one of these a clone of the other? I was also looking at the airsoft pro hop up unit but on ASPUK, it says that it wont fit the King arms So finally, anyone with experience can you please say what one is better and what upgrades are needed or recommended.
  8. Well there ya go adam, shows that its a great site
  9. Same as josh, I haven't been anywhere else but from reading about other sites, its good and cheap (£17 first time £15 after that)
  10. Welcome, another billericay player here too and there are more on the forums
  11. Thanks for the help guys i understand some of the features more now. I am definitely looking into getting a mosfet soon as im now trying to making a switch to lipos and deans connectors. What are some you would recommend? I will be fitting it into a G&G cm18 Thanks SittingDuck, that thread is very useful and i am also going to get some spare wire and extra connectors to practice soldering. Also can anyone recommend/link a decent lipo charger Thanks
  12. Yeah, my ipad is really playing up no idea why it posted three times!
  13. As the title states, what is a MOSFET? I get that is primary purpose is to prevent arcing at the trigger contacts and that this is done by running an extra wire to the MOSFET from the trigger. That is what I think I understand but looking online shows many mostest with pre cocking, active braking, passive braking and others. What is meant by this? Also, is there any decent guides out there about soldering as I am utterly useless.
  14. Anyone know where nuprol holsters are in stock?

Nuprol products are all just rebrands of normal ACM stuff which WE Europe have got RoHS certified and had a CE mark put on. They're in no way connected to WE from a manufacturing point of view.

I have a IMI Holster for my WE Glock, fits great. You need to get the IMI Holster model for the RS Glocks 20/21/37/38 in order for it to fit the WE 17 Glock correctly. Great accessories for it to

  15. Thanks for the replies everyone some good points I actually got thinking of that after watching some of those American home intruder videos and while you would get laughed at if you were to shoot the thing, I was thinking more as use as a threat. That said, if the person decides to call your bluff and goes for you then you're kinda screwed as you would then be defenceless
  16. This hasn't happened to me and I'm sure that it is fairly unlikely to happen to anyone but where would you stand if you threatened an intruder with a RIF? For example, an intruder breaks into your house and due to the fact that some RIFs looking very realistic, what would happen to you with the law if you told the burgular that it was a real weapon and waited for the police?
  17. Think as they are a registered dealer they can deliver it themselves to your door http://www.pellpax.co.uk/page/pellpax-delivery
  18. It will appear then that by law they can be purchased as an air weapon, however doing so means it is much more expensive http://www.pellpax.co.uk/airsoft/air-pistols-1/co2-powered-pistols/dan-wesson-8-silver-co2-6mm-airsoft/1946 That also doesn't include the £20 for their special delivery service.
  19. Haha I feel so too. I just wondered if there was any alternative and that it could be classed as an air weapon if sold with the correct shells. Is there a definition of an air weapon that states calibre or energy? Because if I was buying it in .177 form then I'd need no defence
  20. I am looking at buying an ASG Dan Wesson and looking at the reviews in airsoft world showed this http://postimg.org/image/cmivvvp5l/ I know it sounds weird, but is there a possibility this could be true? I know ASG make a 4.5mm/.177 version of this that would just require 18+ and a face to face sale. I am wondering as it would be horrible in two tone and my parents don't have UKARA or other defence. Edit: image not working :/
  21. What do people think of the asg dan wessons?

Depends on the size, there are low power shells that bring the power to a skirmish level - I've just got the 4" barrel one with low power shells and it's 328fps according to the box. The 8" one won't go lower than about 450fps even with low power if I remember correctly, the 6" is basically a DMR at my site, around 400fps with low power.

ProAirsoft have 20% off these and all stuff in stock (not many AEG's in stock) BUT only until noon today

      code: FRIDAY at checkout

  22. Tbh, with an un modified rifle, you could probably have a 120 spring in there, I have a 110 but an air seal hop up. I would still cut a coil or two off just to be safe. I'm happy,to help, I've got this information from when I was doing it myself anyway. This should work and is in stock http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/laylax-pss-spring-120sp-thin-type-for-apst96
