  1. What frustrated me hugely in the past was 99% of motors on a website would give the RPM but never the voltage. Some older spec pdfs used 8.4v nimh. In the end I actually purchased a chrono rotation thingy (the name escapes me now) so I could measure motors and find out the rpm. I switched to the XT motors with the little plastic fan on due to the high number of failures with Rocket and ZCI motors when used with 11.1v. Heat is indeed a killer. The brushes on the XT contain a little more silver than normal apparently, not sure if that really affects anything. Oh ask a Chinese motor factory that you want a "something TPA" motor, they won't have a clue what you're talking about 🙂 Do DE have vents in the motor grip base plate?
  2. I did ask the ec rep about it and she just laughed and said "no". However you never really know with Chinese companies which are under very strict operating laws, I wouldn't be surprised. What's MOS btw?
  3. Never heard this before. I speak with the E&C and CYMA reps all the time. Nothing suggests this since the designs / molds are quite different from model to model.
  4. not sure how they perform, probably similar but who knows with those Italians 🙂 I'd go for the longer version if I had to choose between them.
  5. at 110mm you're going to struggle getting enough air for sufficient power, you'll have to compensate with a stronger spring leading to more stress on the gearbox. it's not impossible of course but comes with risks.
  6. chatgpt has entered the building
  7. as @Skara remarked, paper and reality can be very different due to all the little variables. try a new battery, if you're hitting double-shots etc then maybe go up to a M110 spring. chasing rof is a lot of fun 🙂
  8. maybe also worth doing a sound rof check just to rule out any feed issues, helped me in the past. always tricky issues.
  9. short inner barrel? battery voltage shouldn't affect J
  10. do you only get the double-shot with 11.1? overspin. check the cut-off of course but it's most probably too weak a spring for the motor/battery combination. Short-stroke with higher spring and/or 22tpa motor can often fix, or just run with 7.4v
  11. 2mm bullet connectors, sadly I don't have anymore, need to get some ordered but very useful. https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/2mm-bullet-connectors
  12. you've got a little bit of trim coming off the fin on the broken tappet plate, could be the delayer isn't needed? try it without just in case. also before you put it all back together check that the pickup tooth on the piston isn't rubbing against the flat part of the sector gear
  13. I'm down to the standard "renters" loadout. Often "plastic" shorty aeg with a single hi-cap mag and a bag of BB. Knee pads essential. I laid a bathroom floor the other week without kneepads and couldn't walk straight for a week.
  14. I thought the title read "Provence In Pictures" and I'd mistaking clicked on the wife's holidaying in France forum 🙂
  15. I have loads but the threads need a little work, been meaning to fix them all up but so busy at the moment. message me.
  16. To CURRENT_USER You know when you've been doing too much SQL 🙂 The geek-omiter is peaking for sure.
  17. oh why not, what everybody said.... At least you uploaded a video though, you're going to need to open up that badboy for a little exploratory. either do yourself or try and find a local tech if you can
  18. very niche product, if outside is pretty similar only way to tell is get a decent magnified snake scope and check out the quality of the polishing, that's where the real cost of inner barrels lies it seems. I've tried to get my own brand of barrels made, whilst the raw material is super cheap, the polishing cost was expensive.
  19. For a short time I worked on the Kent Police instance of the national firearms management system, nothing in there about Air-gun ownership. Certainly nothing at county level.
  20. @EDcase who do call exactly? I tried calling one of the major retailers years ago for a 2nd hand sale after I couldn't contact the site owner where the guy played but was told "no".
  21. @Rogerborg didn't you do a FOI request a few years back to see if border force could you the number of requests made in a single year? Did they ever respond?
  22. @RostokMcSpoons found one, it's OD is 2.4mm, I'll message you direct
  23. let me have a quick look this afternoon and I'll send you some over, I'm sure I'm got loads which will fit 🙂
  24. @RostokMcSpoons I don't really, I have some longer ones which seem the right OD but from experience I've noticed brands use all sorts of different sizes. Maybe someone can measure one?
