      When I was collecting poppies yesterday (in DPMs as have only just paid for blues and MTP's -you get the money back when you leave cadets-) and people were really nice. A cadet group near us was attacked a few weeks ago but jesus....

      Saddens me that a few guys from my Regiment went to the US this week, visited the White House in Uniform and got absolutely amazing levels of support from the US guys over there. Getting asked for photos etc.

    Gah i'm feeling 50-50 about this torch..cant use pressure plate as its too big for the grip its also awkward as to where i can place it on the gun

      well i went Edward scissorhands on the pressureplate..i now need some black electric tape to wrap around the slit rubber and hopfully hold it in place a bit better

    Not to worry was worth a shot i'll have to try go doctor frankenstein on a Burgen get a "gun pouch sown into the bag so it slides ib and can leave the rest of the bag free for kit which i think is what Ians suggesting The old ones used to (i was in cadets) & got issued one many many moons ago..bloody thing was like a bottomless pit haha & like above i was thinking if i could pester a person who does this kind of stitching malarkey i could get some form of pouch to slide the gun into so it aint banging around in the bag & still have room for other kit and stuff

    You don't happen to know the length of this bag do you ? My M4 is about 35 inches long lol and if i can get that in there i'll figure a way of getting some straps stitched to the bottom to keep it stable and then be able to throw vest/bb's/lunch/Various kitchen appliances in there as well
