I was more referring to the underlying system being able to be modified which is what I imagine they have done with the ZET system on the MWS for the AKM.

Its nothing to do with Corona or Brexit. It's everything to do with batch manufacturing and being at the end of a very long supply line for what is relative to SE Asia a very small market. Add into this the nonsense that Nuprol and others get upto and you have our situation. It will always be cheaper to produce another M4 than something more exotic and hence that's what you get.

Quick straw poll as something occurred to me.... Of those who have had their parcels delivered - how many were Taiwangun deliveries and how many were Gunfire or other retailer? Mine was from Gunfire. Just thinking there may be a correlation thats all probably not but worth looking at

I have zero clue what GHK AKs you lot are using or what you have done to them but mine has been superb from the moment I got it. Yes, the auto sear needs replaced cos it will break, but beyond that mine is hitting 60m no problems, it out ranges my stock MWS. You don't need to mod maglips, that just causes jams. Jams are usually the result of bad quality BBs or the guide tabs on the nozzle being damaged, shave them off and all is fine again. In fact, mine hasn't had guide tabs for the majority of time I have ran it and its still chugging along. The Maple Leaf chamber is really good but needs careful installation. There are a few niggles with them but generally they come through people not knowing what they are doing. The mags are excellent and in 3+ years of owning mine I have not had a single leak. Parts issue? Rubbish - readily available from Samoon or Milspec and magazine rebuild kits from Lees Precision. The only part that really needs replaced is the auto sear for a steel one. They are much much much better than WE AKs. Sorry, as much as I like Negative Airsoft he is just plain wrong on this occasion. If you want a someone to talk you through GHK AKs PM me as I am very good with them

Likewise, I accept a certain degree of Brexit disruption, this however is 90% UPS induced shit. Their internal processes and data transfer between depts is shocking.

As has been summised by others in this tale of woe, 'Held by Customs' is a lot of horseshit as UPS act as the Customs agents, they are the ones holding it! It should read 'Not got round to calculating how much we are going to charge you yet'. Similarly, 'In Transit' means 'Been bouncing around our warehouses waiting to be scanned yet again'. Oh and I have it on good authority that UPS have zero access to the UKARA database, so it renders their Firearms Declaration form even more useless. For those who have the 'Waiting for docs' crap, I would suggest proactively emailing their Firearms form to their clearance department and including the Tracking Number. Can't hurt at this stage.

I only run G&Gs in my GBBR they are excellent, I actually prefer them to Geoffs which have caused some jams in my stock MWS before.
