Well...the obvious thing would be bolting it onto an airsoft gun. Yes, you could probably use an uncoated protector on a piece of test gear that goes back in it's cosy little cover once you've finished with it but if you're planning on running around the woods with a piece of gear that costs several thousand pounds, I'd want a bit more protection.

Both. Single viewpoint videos are dull as fuck. That said, it entirely depends on your budget. GoPro and RunCam are the obvious options but there's plenty of reasonable, cheap Chinese knock offs out there that will give you footage, albeit with the image stabilisation of a 5 year old GoPro.

If you have a proper phone, the USB link will connect to that too.
