  1. Thanks all, we ended up buying a high cap from our local airsoft store £15, fair price I think, even if he only gets 1/2 out before winding we thought. Well he tried it out and didn't have a problem, cyma brand mag. Also ripped out my previous trigger mod and fitted the g&g ECU V3 (only used the MOSFET and wiring) fitted my own switches for trigger, cutoff & selector switch, it worked fine no feed issues.
  2. not fussed on brand, but yes had the same problem non in stock anywhere, thanks for checking though
  3. Hi all, I'm looking for reasonably priced 170rnd mags for my son's p90. Now I've updated the trigger system it runs out of ammo really quick. Don't want the hi-cap, don't want to keep having to remove the mag to wind. Thanks in advance,
  4. Hi all, I've just completed another one of my son's guns his aug, basically the same as the others fitted a micro switch behind the trigger and used the g&g etu v3 MOSFET £35 bargain. Fitted the electric trigger into the V3 gearbox as normal, but cut the wires for the trigger and selector, ran the trigger wires to the trigger (obviously) then ran to wires rearwards too a separate selector switch in the butt. He used it for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago and said it was awesome, lol.
  5. Hi all, after my little experiment on the p90 trigger upgrade, my son has just bought himself the cybergun famas f1 (without mosfet). It's got their latest gearbox in so I'm not going to touch that (for now), but I've just ordered the g&g etu 2.0 with mosfet 3.0 and I'm going to split the switch trigger down to make the famas an electronic trigger same as I did with the p90. I think it will work as the principle is the same as the p90. Let's see what happens, I'm going to try and re use the microswitchs from the trigger switch system, but do have plenty others at home .Not sure whether to mount the cutoff switch inside or outside the gearbox yet, we'll see. Note: if it goes well I may swop out for the perun mosfet direct replacement, with the active brake, but this will probably need other upgrades to go with it. UPDATE: Trigger system seems to be working ok, just making some final adjustments and tidying up the wiring, heres some pics, tried a few locations for the switches, but ended up as below.
  6. Hi all, I'm new to the forum, but thought I would like to share something I have just completed on my son's p90. My son purchased a cyma p90 last year because he wanted something different, however when you use it the trigger is very clunky. I read a few threads on shimming and MOSFETs to improve the response, but I had just finished a rebuild using the aster trigger system (which works a treat by the way) and felt I could do better. Anyway to cut a long story short I purchased the ascu V3 gen 3+ trigger system for a V3 gearbox, I had to re-wire the trigger microswitch to a remote push button I mounted behind the p90 trigger, then re-wired the selector microswitch to a standard on/off switch(currently inside the butt). The cutoff was a little tricky, but fortunately the space left by the original trigger dolly system was perfect for mounted the new board (metal mounting plate) then all I had to do was cut down the lever and fix a tab to it so it operated the cut off microswitch. I have a bit of tidying up to do, but it fires a treat and you can set burst fire, anyway just thought I would share my build as I thought it was a good upgrade to the p90. Just a word of warning it's not for the faint hearted, while I personally didn't find it difficult there is some soldering and messing about with the board to make it work, so there is the chance that something could go wrong.
