  1. It needs about 3" out of the barrel!
  2. Look at it this way - if you fire in bursts and the B&T can't entirely keep up, the first few in each burst will light up at least. Sustained full auto might be an issue but how often will you do that, especially playing CQB?
  3. Really not sure. There's a customer review on the JD airsoft website that claims they tested it to 120rpm and it worked though! I say go for it!
  4. I know a few people that use the B&T one and it seems fine on full auto. Army Force do one that is similar too. Personally I have the Dytac QD one as it fits nicely on the G&G SCAR flash hider AND comes with a QD flash hider so I now have that on my M4. Presto change-o interchangeable QD tracery goodness. Plus....paying twice as much for ammo. Which sucks.
  5. Why is it you can buy genuine Oakley factory pilot gloves from CYCLING shops for less than if you buy the EXACT SAME ones from any airsoft or military type supplier? Rip off much?

The reinforced knuckles I do like, it feels tight when you fully clench your fist without being obstructive.

One thing to look out for is if the vents dig on any of your fingers, it does on my left little finger but I don't notice it in game.

Just so you know there are WAS tan/OD hard knuckle gloves on UK Tactical for around 20 quid.

      Ah cool, ta.

  6. How are they for fit? I'm wondering about a pair myself but I have enormous wide feet!
  7. You know what they say - there's no problem in the world that can't be solved with cable ties, gaffa tape or explosives.
  8. So yeah...Russia: 17:04: The Russian defence ministry has apparently denied reports that Russian forces gave an ultimatum to the Ukrainian troops in Crimea (see 15:58 entry). "This is utter nonsense", a spokesman for the Russian defence ministry told Vedomosti, a Russian broadsheet.

Since when have the Russians ever been concerned about what is said about them in the media, I believe their tactics have pretty much always been Shoot first, shoot somemore, shoot everything, blow stuff up, when the dust settles repeat. When you run out of men, ammo, or stuff to shoot stop and regroup/rearm. When anyone questions what you've done, the correct response is a two fingered raspberry (a la nick Frost in the Cornetto trilogy).

  9. Not shiny, no. It's just the standard black tube. I think I have some ESD wallets for electronics stuff that's shiny. Might try that.
  10. There is an ACTUAL ball pit at The Malls.... Unfortunately it chrono'd at 346fps (site hard limit is 340) so I couldn't use it. Apart from the weight it's actually pretty manoeuvrable (it's a para so with the stock collapsed it's actually shorter than an M4). Next time.....
  11. The main difference is that because the LED is only on one side the BBs only glow on one side. If you're in the dark it's plenty to see where you're shooting though.
  12. Interesting - the one I have came with a UV LED not a white one. It's on the whole time the mag is inserted so the first round always come out glowing (unlike some devices like the Ultimate Hop with the LED fitted that take a while to switch on). I'd be interested to see if there was a way to fit the LED bit into a hi-cap...
  13. I have the M4 illuminated mag. Works nicely but it's not as bright as a barrel mounted tracer. Bright enough to see, not so bright as to immediately give away your position. I like it.
  14. I just got one of those for a very similar purpose (single shot on an M249)!
  15. You're welcome. Don't forget that different things also attract different rates of duty! (it's all on that website somewhere!)

  17. Nice, I love the P90 (quiet at the back) but really can't get my head around the long barrel ones. Kind if defeats the whole point of the weapon in my mind!
  18. Also - CYMA convertible outer barrel for my M4 (14.5"/10.5") and a Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 (snappy name, right?) Mosfet.
  19. Sooo....I did a stupid thing yesterday. I actually added up how much I've spent on guns and gear over the last 6 months. £1700 (not including ammo, pyro and site fees)! And here's me wondering why I'm skint.

Ohshiboom are brilliant if you're looking for an impact grenade. They look similar to the TRMR but a little cheaper.

I was liking the TRMR from the ease of loading and lack of a pin to lose though. Handled one at the Mall last time out and it's a really nice bit of kit!

That does sound good. That's the down fall of the ohshi. The amount of times I've forgotten to put the pin back in when priming. Really annoying..

  20. Nextorch WL-10. It's brighter than the sun and looks very neat on my M9
  21. Yup. Just had it checked by the guys at my local store. Seems it is in fact a Classic Army M249 para (albeit rather old). Still works, shoots fine. Needs a new trigger switch (apparently they all do that). The guy I bought it from was having some custom paint done by me on his Vinci shotgun which I was charging him £50 so it's actually only cost me £25 and some paint and time. Needs a clean up and minor tweaking (new switch, new hop rubber kinda stuff) but yeah, quite chuffed
  22. Cool. Was just that if you needed vector/dxf I can do that. So I'm going to do a thing that annoys the crap out of me now (when I get asked costs for painting) - how much to have a small round logo of a winged grenade on the slide of an M9A1. Probably about 15mm diameter?
  23. I might be interested! What format does the artwork need to be in for your engraver?
