    Welcome

Yep. That's the easiest and by far the best way to find out if you enjoy it before sinking a wad of cash!
  2. Yeah. I did that once. Worked out I had spent £1800 in six months. Not doing that again (working it out that is).
  3. All the best lessons are learned that way.
  4. I reckon it's something in his gearbox. That's why they pay me the big bucks
  5. Yeah, FAB defense is made for real steel guns. Nice kit.
  6. Or in fact this one: http://www.asmc.de/en/Action-Club/Weapons/Accessories/Miscellaneous/FAB-Defense-FGG-K-Folding-Grip-p.html
  7. Not sure what you mean by beavertail to be honest, as long as it's a standard 20mm (ish) width it should fit fine. You MAY need to move the fixing bolt forward though. At the minute it looks like it would make the grip sit quite far forward on the pistol. There may be another version though that fits pistols specifically. Plenty of the Glock/handgun forums in the US mention a similar grip. Actually - just found this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005DKQ2IG/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_3?pf_rd_p=479289247&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B007I2F35A&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0BH13SB155EYRXD1QC01 should put the pinch bolt in the right place.
  8. Actually - this one should do the job http://www.rsov.com/product.php?langId=1&currencyId=4&manufacturerId=10&prodId=18712&cateId=64
  9. It doesn't "offend" me, just didn't seem to be 1) needed or 2) practical, but hey, like the man says - it's your gun, you go for it. Something to bear in mind though; the 93R foregrip flips up forward so you can actually get it into a holster. If you're looking at standard AEG grips adapted to fit your pistol have a look for one of the CAA style that pivot (like this one http://store.a51tactical.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1245 )
  10. They're pretty new so unlikely to be many reviews out there. For less than a tenner why not give them a punt?
  11. Good points all, but the 93R also has an extended trigger guard to allow you to put you off hand thumb in so you can actually use the foregrip. The G18 is surely too short to get a grip onto and be usable? I've fired a GBB G18 and yes, on full auto they can be a bit of a handful but I believe the OPs weapon is in fact an AEP so non-blowback and less likely to climb in use. More use would potentially be watching some youtube videos on how to hold the pistol correctly to avoid muzzle climb.
  12. I've gone all redneck today: Blackberry Smoke http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2EAwhX8Uw8&list=PLDAFDA53FB4EA9BD8&feature=share&index=5 Allman Brothers SKYNYYYYYRD!!!!!
  13. errrmmmm.....what? You want to mount a foregrip....on a pistol?
  14. Hmmm....chinese mesh knockoffs of Revision goggles. Not sure about that. Proper safety rated Bolle specs cost less, are available in the UK and will be fine for garden use (assuming your rhododendrons don't shoot back). http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_5?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=bolle%20safety%20glasses&sprefix=bolle%2Caps%2C206&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Abolle%20safety%20glasses (I have a pair of Trackers and they're nice).
  15. Yeah....I've been using that for aaaages. It is great though. Their chat pages are pretty enlightening about tactical gear too.
  16. I know what you mean but the number of rounds in a G&G high cap magazine means you won't have to reload in the average game. Plus if you keep running out of ammo in CoD, you need to be a better shot
  17. You can get gas that has less issues in cold weather (green gas) but it tends to be too powerful when the temperatures rise, also not recommended for Tokyo Marui pistols due to their mostly plastic construction. To be honest if you're just starting out I wouldn't worry about a pistol just yet. Concentrate on an AEG rifle first!
  18. GBB are more powerful but tend to misbehave when the weather gets cold, AEGs are not very powerful at all but will keep going regardless of the temperature.

    Welcome

The best way is to go to the same site for the three games. They will record your attendance and at the end of the two months you will be able to become a site member and get your UKARA paperwork completed. Note that it is at least 3 games over a period of at least two months, so you cannot do three games in 6 weeks, it must be a period of 2 months or more.

  23. Fecktarn.....is that the new Irish Roman Catholic priest camo?
  24. I used to use an old JT Sport paintball mask. I sweated so much even the double glazed thermal lenses fogged. Which was nice.
  25. Yep, sounds like my house! I mean, I applaud the workmanship and indeed ingenuity of those stands, but I just think it's a well made and ingeneous way of making two vests take up a whole load of space..... Mind you, if you could make one that would hold a full suit of Stormtrooper armour I'd be more interested
