  1. How do you find having your contacts in with the fan running? They don't dry out too much?
  2. Sorry, but as a 40 something that grew up with these rusty piles of crap - no, no they're not sexy cars. They may have been the most stolen car but only because everything else at the time was even shitter. Also - the most stolen car between 1986 and 1991 was actually the Vauxhall Belmont: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joyride_(crime)
  3. Well that settles it then. I'm getting some 0.28s!
  4. Been meaning to try 0.28's in mine, how is it?
  5. Excellent choice
  6. ASGK stands for Airsoft Gun Kai which is in fact a regulatory body for airsoft gun manufacturers in Japan. It is not the same people as ASG the manufacturer.
  7. Absolutely, I'm sure it's down to how you treat it. As I'm equally sure a cheap gun well cared for will potentially outlast an expensive gun ridden hard and put away wet. All I'm saying is that there's nothing wrong with buying cheap stuff if your expectations are in line with what you have.
  8. Just noticed that the classic army mp5k actually comes with a sef lower. Of course nobody's got it in stock!
  9. I hear what your saying, but having spent many years playing guitars that both cost and weigh more than £300 hanging off straps that cost no more than a tenner and were undoubtedly made in the land of the rising yuan and never had an issue I'm not sure it's as big a problem as you're saying it is. Now granted, I am looking at a was sling once they get some in stock but my biggest chance of damaging my guns is when I (regularly) trip over my own feet!
  10. Their YT channel also covers 2 and 1 point slings too.
  11. ooo...hang on...there is one somewhere! Here it is!
  12. This was what I was planning Are SEF lowers reasonably cross manufacturer compatible? Ditto the fire selector?
  13. I've been looking at the ASG/B&T MP5K PDW as the possible answer to me need for a secondary to carry with my M249, the issue is that the ambidextrous selector fouls on my knuckle if you try and change to full retard auto. Is it a simple swap to change it for a non-ambidextrous lower or do I just need to dremel off the lever on the right hand side?
  14. Don't let one bad experience put you off GBB pistols. 1911s are particularly renowned for not having a big enough reservoir for gas in the magazine due to their slim nature.
  15. It's more likely to suffer stress fractures over time though I would guess. As you say though there is an amount of "my mate says" in all these things but all rumours start with a grain of truth.
  16. I have one like cavninja and it's fine. How long it lasts is another question altogether. I am looking at buying the WAS one when they have stock though as the neck rub is annoying me.
  17. Ibiza? Ponce. I jest of course, but how about you just don't go the week before you go on holiday?
  18. This.
  19. Exactly that. Got mine from Bullseye Country Sport via Amazon for about a tenner. Actually - they're even cheaper from Ant Supplies http://ant-supplies.co.uk/Pages/HandguardRails.aspx
  20. I use one for my SCAR. Not sure how much it weighs but it seems to hold position OK with the EGLM and tracer attached!
  21. It's not Magpul - the real ones cost more like £55. I have one like yours though (ie a cheap copy). I like it, for a tenner you can do too badly really.
  22. Cool, in that case the G&G TR16 Carbine JUST about meets your budget but has no rails (standard M4 plastic handguard http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/tr_16_carbine_top_tech.html#SID=239 ) but you can either buy a rail to fit to the handguard or there are plenty of aftermarket railed guards that will fit. The GC16 carbine is the G&G intermediate range (still very good but lower cost www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/gc_16_carbine.html#SID=239 ). Again no rails on the standard M4A1 version but it does leave a bit more meat on the bone for aftermarket parts. If you can push your budget up a bit then there are railed versions available like the TR4 range or if you are happy to move away from the M4A1 style (with the carry handle etc) then you could look at the GC16 Raider series (flat top and floating handguard). Alternatively yuo could also look at the Lonex M4s http://www.helmetworld.co.uk/m4-145-med-21423-p.asp which again cost a little more but still have the look you're after.
  23. So which bit of "I'm looking at purchasing an M4" confused you? Also - £250 won't get you any gun from the G&G Top Tech range but it certainly gives you more choice. Also that budget isn't going to get you a G&P. Sorry. Depends on what style of M4 you're thinking of too. Do you want a standard-ish M4A1 with a RIS foregrip or a short barreled CQB beast? Do you have any pictures of what you have in mind?
