      Clone pair aren't gonna be close to the real deal but the intergrated kneepads are really useful. Can get TMC copies of em for like $12. The genuine Crye AirFlex pads are great, really comfortable and lightweight

    Guy selling M249 on facebook sales page. Says he needs money quick. Ask about age of the gun "dunno mate" FPS of gun "dunno mate" no mods or extras. I give him an offer of £150 as its around 60% of RRP. "I'm looking for more like £200 mate" Tell him that you can get them new for less with a warranty. Says whatever after me telling him that its a fair price for a gun that has unknown age and FPS but then about 45 mins later comes back with £160. Many chuckles were had.

    It's the Enola Gaye ones which seem to give out a very very fine powder to create the smoke.

    I found my cheapo viper gloves to one of the better pairs I have owned. They're full fingered and un armoured but have enough thickness to them to not make you swear when you get a knuckle or finger hit. They maybe thick but they also allow you to have great dexterity for example use a variety of zips and even work on most phone screen. My only gripe with the is the fact that they stained blue from a smoke grenade plooming out on them. (not a massive problem)

    quick question would running an airsoft gun on a mini taimaya to deans adapter have any negative effects bar bad trigger response?

      Oh go on....I do so enjoy a good technical discourse ;)

       

      Off the back of this discussion I've been having a bit of a look about and it seems that actually, clone Deans connectors are a lot less efficient than genuine ones so it's not even down to using a better "style" of connector, you need to buy proper ones!

      I try and get the more expensive "GRIP" ones as makes easier to change asap - especially if still wearing gloves/sweating hands etc...

      rather than 20 cheapo pairs for under £3 from Hong Kong

    We all run 5.56 stanag weapons at the moment (I.e M4, G36 with conversion, PDR, 416 etc) so we are planning on keeping on the same system.

    To be honest I feel like HPA is devoloution for airsoft (makes us more unrealistic having a hose and tank) and the Tippman system to me (my opinion) is not my cup of tea due to Co2 for non HPA. So all in all good ol' AEG it would have to be

    Hi guys, I'm starting to branch out into milsims and want to get an M4 (non PTW so I can use normal style mags to make mag switches with team mates possible) and was wondering which brands and models people find best.     Anyone who uses 40mm moscart nades thought of using rubber grommets for electrical fittings for caps on the ones which have a cavity for bbs and such?
