  1. And it must cover 51% or more of the gun not just the tip.
  2. http://airsoftoperator.com/consumer-rights-uk/ Have a read through that and know your rights and retailers responsibilities
  3. It depends on what you want really, you could spend £100s on bits and bobs for small increases in performance but to be honest if it ain't broke don't fix it!
  4. Apparently they have charging facilities but I'm taking one of these too http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B009NQW8D4/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=noref&s=computers
  5. I attempted my first Kydex holster last weekend, I have everything that I would need to manufacture to a good quality including a pillar drill and a whole workshop of tools. The only thing I needed to make myself was the press, which I made pretty quickly. All I needed was foam. I used high grade pipe insulation given to me for free and packed out the top and bottom of my press. The day came to make the holster, I carefully masked up all the relevant bits, added the blanks so the sights will clear, slowly heated up the Kydex to the correct temperature checking with a digital thermometer. When it was ready I placed it in the press placed the gun on top then clamped down the lid. I waited 20 minutes for it to cool completely before opening it up. I un clamped the lid removed the undamaged gun and tried to removed the sheet of pressed Kydex but disaster! The foam which I was promised would resist the high temperatures had melted and was stuck to the sheet! BASTARD! So now the proper foam is on it's way from the good ol' US of A. TL;DR I tried to be cheap and shit got melty!
  6. I'm a XL usually - bollocks don't want to end up looking like an extra from Baywatch
  7. I've used their .25s and they are pretty good
  8. Me neither, how do you find TMC's Combat shirts ?
  9. I think it's standard sling QD mount like this http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-slings-and-other-retention-equipment/patrol-base-steel-qd-sling-swivel-silver.htm
  10. What jacket is that Mack? I'm looking for something similar myself but more of a UBAC style
  11. Try contacting Ed, see if his uni group have anything organised
  12. No worries they are my local shop, always get quality service from them when I pop in!
  13. In stock L85 for you buddy http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-bulpup-guns/ics-l85-a2.htm#.U8LY_X-9KK0
  14. Holy shit 5 KG?! What do you feed your babies? I think the point Mr Cheeseright was making is that IF you use a sling at some point your £300 + gun may hang from it and there is always a chance your cheap sling may fail just as you walk past that ravine/mud filled hole/velociraptor pen and then you'll be upset. I see it sometimes when people buy a cheap pistol holster and their pistol disappears mid-game.
  15. If you have a stanley knife, your in your work gear and you work in a warehouse and your on your way to/from work I'd say that was good and lawful reason. You cannot be 'randomly' stop searched.
  16. Don't forget to eat properly too! I don't mean things like protein shakes and the like I mean good balanced meals and plenty of fruit!
  17. I think it's this. http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-m4-m15-m16-variants/ares-amoeba-am-009-m4-long-version.htm
  18. I've never heard of a range either, the only one I know that allows that is Bisley. Unless it's one of the ranges near Catterick
  19. No they can not confiscate an offensive weapon and let you go on your merry way. This isn't primary school if the constable has grounds to suspect / believe your are in possesion of an offensive weapon then you should be arrested and it will be seized as evidence. If you give a lawful or good reason to be in possesion then they don't need to take any further action. For information from the CPS website The term 'offensive weapon' is defined as: "any article made or adapted for use to causing injury to the person, or intended by the person having it with him for such use".
  20. I think he runs his business in a very bizarre way. You place an order, he then rings you up for payment and then he sends it. Which is a mental way of doing business!
  21. What? Under that logic all children with pencil sharpeners should be arrested, the Daily Mail could even write a story about a child knife crime epidemic! No, frankly if it's a self contained unit like that designed for a specific purpose no copper in the land would bother with it, even if they did I doubt the custody Sgt would authorize your detention. The CPS would laugh you out of the building. If you were to however take the blade out of a pencil sharpener and use that as a weapon of carry it then yes, you probably would be arrested. ( I grew up in Bradford, I've seen it happen )
  22. Your definition is pretty spot on really, you can have "illegal" knifes on you if you have a good enough reason such as joiners carrying Stanley knifes.
  23. It depends ASG tend to rebrand things so who knows who actually made them, get the MAG ones from PB. Mine are at least 6 years old and still going pretty strong!
  24. Just to let you know the Americans have posters up reminding them not to rape! RAPE! The most vicious poster I ever saw on a British base was reminding people to wash up after themselves. If I was to hedge a guess I'd say it was more likely an inside job.
